Is there is hope we've found a goalscorer? Talking of which, Palmer is fantastic and scored his 11th of the season. Gusto is growing into a top player and Mudryk scored a wonder goal - maybe there is a footballer there after all? In Cucurella and Sterling we saw the good, the bad and the ugly with Cucurella having a decent game, bar his involvement in both Newcastle goals and Sterling wastful and disinterested - and that's being kind. ? It seems Chelsea are now both scoring and leaking goals. Are we attacking more and leaving the defence open? Is Silva's wise head is missed? In part two Chelsea were better all night than Toon but left the door open. Poch's subs worked and it was good to see Chuk back and Casadei looks good. We are still 11th but closing the gap - can we scrape into a European place. They need to stop being consistently inconsistent. Will returning players help? What would be acceptable this season?
