Brett Rader and Danielle Gibson come to you on Mondays and Fridays (usually) during the Big Brother season to make superficial judgements about strategy, showmances, and Julie Chen's wardrobe choices.
The Hey Julie! A Big Brother Fan Podcast is a must-listen for any fan of the hit reality show. As a long-time listener and first-time reviewer, I can confidently say that this podcast is one of the best out there. The hosts, Brett and Danielle, bring a refreshing and entertaining take on the game, making it enjoyable for both casual viewers and hardcore fans alike.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the fun banter between Brett and Danielle. They don't take the show too seriously and instead focus on having a good time with it. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their humor shines through in every episode. Even if you don't watch Survivor (like me), you won't want to miss an episode of Hey Julie!
Another great aspect of this podcast is that Brett and Danielle are not just limited to talking about Big Brother. Their conversations are engaging even when they venture off-topic, making it entertaining to listen to them during my commute to work. It's a bonus for listeners who enjoy hearing their perspectives on other topics as well.
However, one downside of this podcast is that they seem to be recording less frequently now. As a dedicated fan, I was disappointed to hear that they were cutting back on episodes. I hope that in future seasons they will return to their regular schedule, as their content is always worth listening to.
In conclusion, The Hey Julie! A Big Brother Fan Podcast is a true gem in the world of Big Brother podcasts. With Brett and Danielle's hilarious banter and genuine love for the show, it's no wonder why so many fans keep coming back for more. If you're looking for a podcast that brings both entertainment and insightful commentary on Big Brother, look no further than Hey Julie!

Dani & Brett are back for another episode, first diving into the latest on Survivor. Chrissy was sent to the jury this week. Danielle & Brett are back with their third to last #Survivor47 recap of the season. Caroline, who turned out to be more of the more gullible players this season, was sent home at the hands of master manipulation from Genevieve, Sam & Andy. Rachel is still in a good spot to win, but when she's aligned with Sue & Teeny -- how good is the brainpower of her alliance versus the other side? Later in the show, Danielle & Brett recap Wicked: Part I & debates the merits of expanded universe IP storytelling. Closing out the show, Dani shares her thoughts on It Ends With Us, Blake Lively's underrated stardom and the disgusting fun of The Substance.
Danielle & Brett are back with another episode of Hey Jeff, saying goodbye this week to Kyle as #Survivor47's endgame begins to shape up with a number of key under-the-radar contenders. Brett & Danielle are back to recap another episode of #Survivor46. In Wednesday's episode 8, perhaps the best of the season, galaxy-brained Q took over in a way only he could do: by inflicting pure controlled chaos on the rest of the tribe. From a strategy-soaked game of hide & seek to one of the most bonkers tribal council maneuvers in recent memory, one thing is clear: we love our delulu king. We chat about why Q is so great, as well as why there are a handful of purely delusional players this season, making this season more enjoyable than recent entries. Later in the show, Brett shares a few pieces of CBS news out of Hollywood, Danielle praises the trailer for 'Trap', which sparks a debate about nepo babies, and the gang wraps up the show discussing their split opinions on Prime Video's #Fallout. Brett & Danielle are back for another episode of Hey Julie. The pair discuss Wednesday's episode of #Survivor46, which saw Soda & Tim sent home on a double-tribal council night, while Maria & Kenzie took home the first individual immunity idols of the season. Meanwhile, our girl Venus just keeps trucking along, despite no one liking her. Master manipulator? Or Forrest Gumping her way to the finish by luck and gumption? Later in the show, Danielle talks about Netflix's "Ripley" and the "Joker: Folie a Deux" trailer, while Brett shares his thoughts on "Monkey Man" & "Civil War." Closing out the show, Danielle MUST talk about the 'Sex & the City' discourse. Brett & Dani are back to recap Survivor 46 episode 6. Moriah and Venus were front and center in this week's merge episode, with Moriah being the unfortunate victim of this week's tribal council. Brett & Dani compare Venus to one iconic Survivor and one iconic Big Brother player of yore. Later, Brett talks about viewing 'The Social Network' and 'Panic Room' at a double feature this week and the interesting place a Facebook movie sits culturally in 2024. Danielle reviews the new Netflix film 'Scoop' & they close discussing the breakup of Isla Fischer & Sacha Baron Cohen, as well as Monday's solar eclipse that will sweep across North America. Brett & Dani react to Wednesday's episode of Survivor & pour one out for early favorite Jem, who was sent home by a 4-2 vote. Brett laments his early winner pick leaving so early and must address the audience after being so blatantly wrong. SAD! Later, Danielle chats about watching 'Wonka' over the week and the new Jake Gyllenhaal remake of 'Road House'. Brett raises a bit of news about 'Euphoria' season three and has some words about 'Unfrosted' the Pop-Tarts movie helmed by Jerry Seinfeld, whose trailer dropped earlier in the week. Danielle & Brett are back to talk about the most recent episode of Survivor 46. It was sadly the end of the line for our king, Bhanu. Probably one of the worst Survivor players in recent memory, if not of all time, the fourth episode of this season ended in one of the least surprising evictions ever...so unsurprising Jeff didn't even do Bhanu the injustice of sending his tribemates to the voting booth. We say RIP to the man so in touch with his emotions he could never survive Survivor. Later in the show, Danielle talks about the most recent season of Love Is Blind & Brett talks about how the new Ghostbusters film and the trailer for this year's Beetlejuice sequel are inducing hard franchise fatigue. Brett & Dani discuss the third episode of #Survivor46, last weekend's Oscars telecast and more on this week's episode. Randen, who we described last week as a big "WHO?!" fully lived up to his promise by being the first medical evac of the season. Randen, we hardly knew ye. Later in the show, they chat about last Sunday's Oscars broadcast in which old man Brett had a few notes, and Dani talks about her first-time viewings of The Zone of Interest & American Fiction this week. Closing out the episode, Brett & Dani check in on the British royal family (note: Kate still missing) and Boeing. After kicking off with some words about the state of modern pop-culture and the meteoric rise in 2024 of Sydney Sweeney, Brett & Danielle dive head-first (Bruce style) into the first two episodes of #survivor46. They break down the two tribal councils and run through the full list of castaways to get initial takeaways on who is a star in the making or who is a WHO!? In the final quarter of the show, they chat about Dune Part Two, Poor Things and a few other pop-culture bits and bobs.
