This year for Adoption Day families were greeted by the friendly critters from Tiny Tots Mobile Petting Farm in Dewey which included fainting goats, a sheep named George, bunnies, chickens, and a turkey named Timmy. ISR teaches infants and young children survival techniques that help them float or reach safety if they enter the water unexpectedly. Classes will be offered October 27 through December 12, 2025, at one of the City's pools. Lessons are held Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Each child and parent/guardian attends a 10-minute one-on-one session daily for six weeks. City crews are set to begin repairing the leak on Wednesday, October 15, and expect to complete this work, including pavement restoration, by October 22. SR89 will be closed to northbound traffic at the Willow Lake Road roundabout. A detour route will be in place along Willow Lake Road. Southbound traffic along SR89 and access to the Watson Lake Recreation area will not be affected. Motorists should expect delays and use an alternate route if possible....
