    Send us a text and chime in!The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) will host its Youth Police Academy from July 6–9, 2026, a program that provides local youth with a unique opportunity to learn about a career in law enforcement while building positive relationships between officers and the community.The Youth Police Academy would not be possible without the incredible support of our community partners, local businesses, and residents. Their continued encouragement and contributions help make this program a meaningful and impactful experience for the youth in our community.The PVPD is currently seeking $50 sponsorships from local businesses and private citizens to help support the academy. One hundred percent of all donations go directly toward the operation of the program, helping provide materials, activities, and refreshments for participants. Donations may be mailed or dropped off in the police station lobby. We also gratefully accept donations of pre-packaged snacks and bottled water.The idea behind the Youth Police Academy is simple: when a community comes together, great things can happen. Through this program, we aim to show young people the value of teamwork, trust, and collaboration while demonstrating how strong partnerships between law enforcement and the community can create positive change.Applications for the program will open in early April.
