Age and Flow, two brothers who wanted to form a Ministry where they could spread the Gospel and help gang members and inner-city people come to know God. The two formed the CHH rap group named, Preachas in tha Hood. Preachas in tha Hood took their talents to prisons where they performed, gave testimonies, and shared their lives with inmates through Prison Fellowship. They toured all over the nation in churches, arenas, and anywhere else with a stage. They were spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to whoever would listen. The two pledged to introduce listeners to the only one who can change hearts–Jesus. Preachas in tha Hood was eventually picked up by the “Worlds Largest Gospel Hip-Hop The label”, Grapetree Records. Their first album, “Gangstaz Pain” was released on Grapetree Music Group's label Phat Boy Recordings in 1997. The fourth and last album, “Gangsta Hits” was released in 2001. OG Flow was about twelve years old when his sister (“Lil D”) introduced him to Carlos-Alberto, who went to Lil D's high school at that time. Carlos-Alberto was in a CHH group called, “God's New Creation” (Later known as “Kandle”). The flow began searching for God and changing his life. Flow met up with his older brother (“Age”) and told him how he gave his life to God. Age was a gang leader in a large gang from the Denver, Colorado Metro Area. The flow was influenced by a rival gang of Ages. Age, who was recently arrested and booked on several felony charges, had recently surrendered his life to God as well. The two brothers wanted to form a Ministry where they could spread the Gospel and help gang members and inner-city people come to know God. Once conflicting brothers, the two pledged to introduce listeners to the only one who can change hearts–Jesus. CEO Of New GrapeTree Records and MovementDelbert R. Harris is Lil' Raskull. He grew up in Trinity Garden, a ghetto on the north side of Houston, Texas and ended up dealing drugs. His talent for rap gave him the chance to get signed at a local record label called Dead Game Records in 1991. Eventually he sobered up. In his destructive lifestyle Raskull started to hear God's voice saying "Look around...how long are you going to keep this?" Drug induced he heard God's small voice in a small circle of high strangers. "God pricked my heart," said Lil Raskull, God said "look at these guys-you don't know any of them. They're just a bunch of junkies." Soon after Raskull changed his life the christian rapper Nuwine, who hadn't contacted him for several years, gave him a call.DebutIn 1996 Lil' Raskull released Controverse All-Star on Grapetree Records. Five albums later including his best of-album "Certified Southern Hits" in 1999 and after the decline of Grapetree Records in 2003 he began to release music on his own label Javo Records.RasLil Raskull now goes by the artist name "Ras". The new name can already be found on the 2003 album "The streets are white" and the collaboration album Nuwine & Ras "Good news bad boys" of 2004.DistributionThe MC states on his site: Its no wonder why no one pays attention to Gospel rap, no one knows where to find it, Raskull explains. Gospel simply means good news. Who doesnt want to hear good news?. Because he "remains unsatisfied with the way his music has been handled", new albums will now be released in the christian and mainstream market.GrapetreeRas' choice to start his own label and broaden the scope of his distribution might be influenced by the experience at Grapetree Records, because on the inlay "The streets Are White" he notes "spending six years with a label that never payed me dibs". Raskull made his last record specificly aimed at the christian market with the album "The Benedict" in 2005.BooksIn March 2007 the rapper published the book: So...You Got A Record Label : The Introduction to running a productive and lucrative record label.FeaturedThe artist is featured on Mr G. Reality's album Reflection of Image (2007).VideosThe first single of the album "The Buzz Word" (2007) is "Bank on That".New ProjectsA new project is his new record "The Bad Boy Volume 3", which is scheduled for release in 2009.Paypal HipHop4yoSoul@gmailitunesPodcast Addictspotifyiheart radiogoogle podcastTrue Swagg RadioGlife Radio glifeoutreach.orgNew GrapeTree Radio

Mr. REAL was born on the 14th of June in 1974. His name is an acronym and stands for My Rhymes Realistically Educate All Listeners. He made his debut release Humility on Grapetree Records in 1999.GaryMr. REAL's hometown, Gary, Indiana, was once named the murder capital of the world. A lot of people were killed here, said Mr. REAL. I lived it all; experienced it all. Many of Mr. REALs friends glamorized their violent experiences until one day Mr. REAL snapped. I got heartless, and I didnt care about people too much, said Mr. REAL. I jumped off the deep-end and started drinking and messing around with different women.GangMr. REAL grew up in the church, yet turned to gang-banging for attention because he didnt feel he was loved at home. Mistakes during his teenage years placed him in dangerous situations. He was once mistaken for a murderer and almost became a murder victim himself several times. Now, he believes God ultimately kept him safe through all his close-calls.EscapeThe birth of his first child finally helped Mr. REAL escape from gang banging. I looked at people around me dying, and I decided I wanted to be there for my son, said Mr. REAL. For a while, he said he still had to watch his back.Hip hopAll the while, Mr. REAL rapped to LL Cool J and Heavy D using his older brother as an inspiration to start rapping. Mr. REAL was a seasoned performer. He enjoyed a crowd and would sing, dance, or act with brilliance. He performed in school and church. He stopped rapping for a time, because his mother did not agree with his music. He was enlightened by God to rap strictly for Him. Even after his brothers passion for rapping faded, Mr. REAL continued to make a name for himself globally. I decided in 1993 that I would perform my first Christian rap in front of a live audience, said Mr. REAL. My little brother said dont do it because they werent ready for it. So I got leery and self-conscious, but I performed at a high school alumni function and did really well. Plus, now my little brother is a Gospel rapper. After Mr. REAL heard the Gospel Gangstaz, he felt God calling him to join the Christian Rap Industry.

Prime started getting involved in drug selling and gangs in Rockford (outside of Chicago) during junior high. His involvement with gangs/drugs created a pit of problems. His gang activity led to a drive-by shooting on his familys home. His responsibility in his gang ranged from carrying out the gangs dirty work to insuring that other members stayed loyal. Prime Minister fell deeper into the pit when he attended Northern Illinois University. His drug dealing tied him to the Chicago mob.JailThe road of problems grew longer. During a gang fight Prime Minister stabbed a rival gang member in the heart. The victim took him to court. He received a pardon for his life sentence to attend college and the case finally dropped after the victim was imprisoned because of car theft. This was not his first view of a jail cell. another offense included mob action. The pressures of his life caused him to turn to drugs, and landed him in a mental institution.RapTo diverge his attention from problems Prime Minister took his tales and started rapping in 1986. Later, under the name Sir Fish he opened up for Bobby Brown and Heavy D. He started touring with Ice Cube, De La Soul and Geto and won first place in RAMA Award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop artist in 1996 and 1997. Despite his success, the life of fast women, money and drugs pulled him to greater lows until 1993.ChristUntil a church sermon touched him. The pastor gave his message on the pulpit as usual when he started talking about Prime Minister saying that God wanted to set someone free.I felt this heat on my body, said Prime. Then I was moved and started to jump up, sing, and shout. God had delivered me supernaturally from my drug addiction and life of violence. Primes raps changed to those expressing humility and solutions to gang-related problems.ForgivenessTelevision journalist interviewed him concerning his conversion from the Gangsta-Rap to Christian Rap scene. The man he stabbed in the heart quietly watched this interview and called Prime Minister for forgiveness.I was shocked; he hugged me said Prime Minister. This man, who I stabbed should have been angry. Instead, he said that he knew that if God changed me that He could change anyone.AlbumsPrime Minister's debut album for Grapetree Records is Prime Time, which got a follow up with the record Millenium. He teamed up with Da Zoe Click to release Reel Life in 2002. His last solo project is Primordial and was to be released by GT Platinum in February 2003. Because the label disappeared the album was never put out on the market.True II SocietyPrime Minister is also part of the duo True II Society as "Sir Fish" together with Pooh, Prime's wife.itunesspotifyiheart radiospreakerglife outreach.org

On Juneteeth weekend, Darius West shared the @micdropthemovie premiere in #dallas, igniting an overdue celebration of many CHH Pioneers. It was an incredible weekend allowing artists to reconnect, fans to gain a deeper appreciation of the genre, and for all to take in their stories through the documentary. During this interview, the Dynamic Twins share their background, pursuing their calling amid naysayers and standing firm in their beliefs. Did you they had an opportunity to blow up in Hollywood but said “no” to famous producer Mel Brooks when he asked them to compromise their values? About the Dynamic Twins The Dynamic Twins are a Bronx-born Christian rap group composed of identical twins Noel and Robbie Arthurton. The twins moved to California in 1989. They began to make guest appearances on albums by other Christian rap artists, including J.C. and the Boyz' and S.F.C. The group's first album Word 2 the Wize released in 1991 through Broken/Brainstorm Artists International and was distributed to mainstream record stores through Epic Records. S.F.C.'s Chris Cooper helped with production chores and fellow S.F.C.'er The Dove added scratching. Also guesting was Crystal Lewis, whose album Simply the Best had included a song penned by Noel Arthurton. The Twins' second album, No Room 2 Breathe, garnered praise from True Tunes magazine as a "landmark in the Christian rap industry" for basing itself musically around live instruments instead of programmed samples and beats. The third album on B.A.I. was 40 Days in the Wilderness. As with all Dynamic Twins releases, it features many guest appearances, including Ayeesha, who was introduced into the scene on this album. Grapetree Records signed Ayeesha as their first female rapper. The group received 3 Dove Awards nominations for their music and has appeared with well-known artists such as: Westside Connection, Fred Hammond, BeBe, and CeCe Winans, and Audio Adrenaline. #CHH #ChristianRap #ChristianHipHop #ArtistInterview #KingdomBuildingConversation #gospelrap #christfocused #wisdomfromtheword #christianliving #christianrapandhiphop

Knolly Williams, “No One Succeeds Alone”, Author, Trainer, National Speaker & Entrepreneur shares his story on Global Luxury Real Estate Mastermind with Michael Valdes Podcast #162 Knolly Williams was a successful music producer who lost his fortune and regained it again when he found real estate. He is an international coach, author and entrepreneur, but more importantly one of the most caring human beings I have ever met. More About Knolly Williams :  Knolly Williams is International Speaker and Bestselling Author. Over the past 25 years, Knolly has launched multiple successful 6 and 7 figure businesses. Today Knolly runs one of the largest faith based real estate organizations in the world through eXp Realty and he is dedicated to helping YOU reach YOUR Ultimate Greatness. Knolly Alexander Williams Jr.  was born in Brooklyn NY on Feb 15, 1970. At the age of 12 he began his career in sales and marketing when he began helping his dad (Knolly Sr.) who sold his hand crafted jewelry at the local college and weekly flea market. Soon Knolly Jr. had his own line of products. He sold posters of his favorite signers, along with buttons, candy and other items the local students wanted. Next Knolly figured out he could take his "lunch money", purchase packs of candy with it and resell the individual pieces to triple his original investment. Knolly has been an avid entrepreneur ever since. In 1992, (the same year he married Josie) at the age of 22 years old, Knolly raised $1800 in donations from friends and family and launched his first business, a magazine focused on the Christian hip hop scene. Out of that venture Grapetree Records was born, and it grew to become the #1 Christian Rap Label in the world, generating more than $150,000 per month. After 10 successful years the music industry tanked and Knolly and his wife  lost everything including their elegant 6,000 square foot home, executive office building, private recording studio and 10 acre paradise just outside Austin, TX. In 2003, at the age of 33, and starting at rock bottom, the Lord once again blessed his endeavors. Knolly grew to become one of the Top 7 real estate agents in Austin, TX (ranked by Austin Business Journal out of more than 9,500 agents and based on actual production).  Knolly listed and sold more than 1000 houses during his first 10 years in the business, which placed him within the Top 1% of REALTORS in the United States. About Michael Valdes:  Michael Valdes is the newly named President of eXp Global at eXp Realty. Previously Michael was the senior vice president of global servicing for Realogy Corporation, one of the world's largest real estate companies and parent to Coldwell Banker, C21 and Sotheby’s. Earlier in his career, Mr. Valdes was Director of Private Banking at Deutsche Bank for just under a decade where he oversaw a book of business of just under $1 billion. He has the distinction of being the first Director in the United States of Latino descent. Mr. Valdes is the Chair of the AREAA Global Advisory Board and co-host of the 2020 AREAA Global Luxury Summit. He is also a current member of the NAHREP Corporate Board of Governors and a member of Forbes' Real Estate Council. Additionally, he is the Executive Chair of the ONE VOZ, Hispanic ERG for the firm and a member of Forbes Real Estate Council. He is a former Board Member of Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach as well as the Shanti Organization in San Francisco.
