In this lively episode, we dive into the various happenings of the week, beginning with a recount of the recent wicked spring storm in Northeast Cleveland, which brought back uneasy memories of past windstorms and fallen trees. We laugh along with Jay Leno's unexpected tank escapade down the streets of Los Angeles, a humorous highlight fitting his larger-than-life persona. Then we tread into more bizarre territory with a curious Bigfoot sighting in Pennsylvania near the Kinzua area, debating its authenticity and the persistent mystery surrounding this legendary creature. We also tackle the unusual issues of living in the countryside during fertilization season, a smelly reality check for those dwelling near soybean and corn fields. On a lighter note, we delve into the wedding world, discussing a rather outlandish contract presented by a bride to her bridesmaids—a detailed list of 37 rules aimed at maintaining her dream wedding look and feel. This inclusion provides a humorous yet somewhat concerning take on wedding day perfectionism. Join us as we navigate through these entertaining and odd stories, delivering our unique perspectives and plenty of laughs.

For a week last June, we visited Wheeler County in Eastern Oregon. While we were there, we met the men behind Painted Hills Natural Beef, talked to the mayor/pastor/barber in the tiny town of Mitchell, and learned about the company town of Kinzua. We listen back to some of our favorite moments from our week in Wheeler County.
Before the company town of Kinzua closed in 1978, it was the largest town in Wheeler County. At its peak, the logging town was home to about 700 people, a golf course, a lake full of trout, as well as grocery and department stores. Fossil resident Otis Cody and his father worked for Kinzua before it closed. Cody tells us about life growing up in the company town, and the lasting effects it’s had on the county.
Chapter 135: "Snarkasm as an art" ....as read by Andrew Colosimo of Kinzua (Sheep And The Shears) Who? I love doing this show because sometimes I get to organically get to know someone who happens to be a fantastic musician. Score. Today we hear all about Andrew Colosimo, eastern Pennsylvania's diamond in the rough. Andrew used to front Sheep And The Shears which just at the height of momentum...didn't. Andrew moved along with life but quietly floated below the radar while building his new project called Kinzua. I can't say enough but I'll say that if I played the "Best Of The Year list game" I think this would make my cut. So proud of my fellow snarkastic friend, Andrew.
