"Omi hat Geburtstag – die ARD wird 75“ - so liebevoll drückt es Moderator und Medienunternehmer Friedrich Küppersbusch aus, der sich in letzter Zeit ganz besonders mit der ARD beschäftigt hat. Er bekam nämlich den Auftrag, den Jubiläumsfilm zu produzieren. Für Host Sarah Bosetti ist der öffentlich-rechtliche Rundfunk als System nach wie vor unverzichtbar. Sie wünscht sich, dass es mehr Menschen so sehen. Den platten Ruf nach Abschaffung, nur weil die ÖRR nicht perfekt ist, findet Sarah in jeder demokratischen Hinsicht dumm. Friedrich fragt sich, wenn Plattformen wie Instagram, Facebook oder Youtube öffentlich-rechtlich wären, also ohne Datenklau, bevorzugte Algorithmus-Meinung und Werbung, "wie geil wäre das denn"? Dann würden junge Leute eher den Wert des ÖR-Systems schätzen. Natürlich gibt's auch begründete Kritik am System. Friedrich beklagt z.B. den Fürstentums-Streit in der ARD: Sparen ja – aber nicht zuerst bei uns. "Die Vernunft scheitert immer daran, dass man sich dann ins eigene Knie schießen müsste", sagt er. Manchmal wird Küpperbusch als Systemnutte bezeichnet. "Ich habe es immerhin geschafft 1997 bei der ARD rauszufliegen!". Der ÖRR ist übrigens aus sich heraus nicht parteiisch, stellen beide fest und Friedrich ergänzt: "Journalismus ist nicht, mir den Zucker möglichst zielgenau in den Hintern zu pusten, sondern, wenn es auf allen Seiten gleich weh tut, ist es gut." Ihre Bücher wurden politischer, die Waldheim-Affäre war ein Thema, die Herrschaft der Männer im österreichischen Literaturbetrieb ihrer Zeit. Kurz vor ihrem Tod erschien „Die Schönheit der Tag- und Nachtfalter.“ Natur und Mensch war das Thema der 80jährigen, zurückgekehrt in ihre Heimat Altaussee im steirischen Salzkammergut. What's up Bros? RHOP finished on a better note. The final 2 episodes goes to show that there is definitely more to this cast than what we got for the second half of the season. Stacey is hosting her Strut for Strays event. Her best friend AJ gives the proper read on her relationship with TJ. Ashley has a week to go in her divorce settlement (allegedly). Karen is held to the fire this episode after Stacey spreads the word that Karen was talking trash about Wendy. Which is unfortunate because it just so happens to coincide with Wendy inviting Karen to the White House as a thank you for being a good friend. Chaos ensues at the Strut for Strays as Karen gets into it with Stacey. This was Stacey's coming out party. Not only does she throw some shade, she doesn't back down to the Grande Dame and secures her place as one of the best newbies we've seen in awhile. The episode ends with Karen headed to court and she is found guilty on multiple charges. Then a clip of the reunion gives us a glimpse of what appears to be a banger of a reunion.
