Against his wishes, the film was subsequently shortened for it's American release which left the story disjointed, difficult to comprehend and caused the loss of many scenes, most of which were thought to be lost forever. In 1983, Giorgio Moroder bought the rights of the film and restored and produced the 80-minute 1984 re-release.The update was to include contemporary rock music, with contributions from the likes of Freddie Mercury, Pat Benatar, Bonnie Tyler, and Jon Anderson. Selamat Hari Merdeka Malayans! The Malayan 64th Independence Day Special: A Conversation with Cheah Ee Von "Can Malaysian Architecture Schools be like the AA School?" - Part 2We continue where our conversation delved deeper into the questions asked before, on the importance of "theory", crits, reviews, and juries in the AA School, where Cheah Ee Von went for her Part 2 diploma. The ideas and description of her journey and how she felt provide the setting for us to understand what goes on at the AA School. In future podcasts in September 2021, we look forward to more conversations that would critically inquire about the direction of Malaysian Architecture Education and the different schools of thought. But is that enough? What else can we find out from our guests? Let's finish up with the first (two-part) episode of this 7 series with Ee Von first, which is the crucial setting for more. © 2021 Talk Architecture, Author: Naziaty Mohd YaacobPhoto (artwork) of “The future is hot, Malaysia can take it if we want it.”Photograph of a random shop in Shoreditch, London (December 2019)
The Malayan 64th Independence Day Special: A Conversation with Cheah Ee Von "Can Malaysian Architecture Schools be like the AA School?" - Part 1We start off to know about the AA School unit system at the Diploma (Part 2) level. She then describes what and how she chose the Diploma units and other aspects for us to get an understanding of what the AA is about in order for us to build up the conversation. In the first interview of a series of interviews this month and next with different personalities, we are interviewing a fresh graduate to kick start the series, wherein the second part to be published tomorrow we will deal deeper into the questions asked before on the importance of "theory", crits, reviews, and juries in the AA started in Part 1.© 2021 Talk Architecture, Author: Naziaty Mohd YaacobPhoto (artwork) of “The future is hot, Malaysia can take it if we want it.”Photograph of a random shop in Shoreditch, London (December 2019)

The Orielles have released one of our favourite albums of this (or any) year in ‘Disco Volador’, so we were delighted to get all three of them on the show to tell us all about it. The Halifax indie trio explain their intergalactic inspirations, how the planets aligned when they formed the band a few years back and how they’re planning to turn ‘Disco Volador’ into a “cinematic experience” to be released next year. They also reveal what fans can expect from their upcoming virtual gig this Saturday (December 5th) - tickets are still available from here (https://theorielles.myshopify.com/) . Live Radio show recorded at the Scream London Studios. After banging out the Trance for Ricky Wayne's World on Scream London a few months ago (sadly this was not recorded) I was asked back to do a second set. This time round I decided to go back to my roots and play Hard House/ Hard Trance Classics. Starting off with Hard House I swiftly go up through the gears in to some banging euphoric Hard Trance. As there was no one up after us we decided to extend the show from 2 hours to 3 and half hours playing all the tracks that I reluctantly skipped to fit the 2 hours originally planned. I hope you enjoy this mix and it was an absolute pleasure to mix, and watch this space for a B2B on the cards with Scream's Tony B. Rumor has it that we will be playing Hardcore ;o) KB!
