Bonnie Tyler represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 coming 19th with the song "Believe in me".  Bonnie Tyler had six hits that made the Top 40 charts in the UK and around the world, such as "Lost in France" (9, 1976), "More than a Lover" (27, 1977), "It's a Heartache" (4, 1977), "Married Men" (35, 1979) and "Holding out for a Hero" (2, 1985) among others. But her biggest worldwide hit was "Total Eclipse of the Heart" which reached Number 1 in Feb 1983 which even was covered by Eurovision Royalty Dame Nicki French in 1995 when her cover of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" came 5th in the UK Charts. Nicki French represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000 with the song "Don't play that song again" coming 16th. Due to the sad news of Bonnie's passing away Radio International broadcasts a special tribute on the show this week showcasing her amazing career including her time at the Eurovision Song Contest. Malta's Eurovision Legends: Claudette Pace, Julie, Kurt Calleja, Moira Delia (Host),  Aidan, Moira Strafaze, Ludwig Galea, Olivia Lewis    Interviews with the Eurovision Legends of Malta:  On 10 Jan 2026 the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 took place earlier in the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC) in Ta'Qali, Malta. Aidan won this contest and represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with the song "Bella" coming 18th. It was a privilege to have Bonnie Tyler on How to Fail back in 2024 - and we are heartbroken to hear of her passing today.    Bonnie was open, funny and moving when she joined me on How to Fail. Total Eclipse of the Heart made her a global star, and at the time of this recording, she managed to squeeze in an hour on How to Fail between gigs and the release of her new album, In Berlin.
