What would make someone sweep the whole house, light a lamp, and search relentlessly for a single missing coin? In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef explores Jesus' parable in Luke 15:8–10 and reveals a detail many miss: in Jesus' day, a woman's ten-coin headdress (a semdi) signified her engagement—so losing one coin wasn't minor inconvenience, but a public heartbreak and deep shame. That intensity, Jesus says, pictures how precious you are to God and how far He will go to seek the lost. But there's a sobering twist: unlike the lost sheep, the lost coin is missing at home. Dr. Youssef warns that church attendance, Bible studies, and religious familiarity cannot save anyone. Without Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, a person can be just as lost sitting in a pew as someone far from church. Jesus ends with joy: heaven celebrates one sinner who repents. If you've assumed proximity to Christian things equals salvation, this devotional invites you to respond to Christ personally—and be part of the celebration. Prayer: Father, thank You for Your sacrifice to save me. May I not lose sight of You. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. Today's MY Devotional has been provided by Leading The Way. The voice you hear on the MY Devotional podcast is digitally generated with Dr. Youssef's permission. If today's devotional stirred a question, burden, or need for prayer, you don't have to walk through it alone.

In the last State Fair game of the season we tied 0-0 vs Lexington, in a game that should've been a win for us because of Lexington's red card (therefore we really lost two points). The SOTR team talks about the game, Kris from the TBB Board talks to us about how the TBB Town Hall went. We also talk about our upcoming opponent in the USL Cup, Spokane Velocity, Cal Storm & San Juan's recent games, and more! The sermon explores the parable of the prodigal son to critique religious pride and celebrate God's boundless mercy, revealing a theological key found in verses one and two. Through the narrative of a rebellious son, a forgiving father, and a resentful older brother, the message highlights the transformative power of repentance, the joy of restoration, and the importance of recognizing one's own sinfulness in contrast to a transactional relationship with God. Ultimately, the sermon calls listeners to embrace God's grace and to avoid the pitfalls of legalism and self-righteousness, emphasizing that true faith leads to a heartfelt response and a life of joyful obedience.
This week on Lost At Home, we celebrate Easter and 420 by digging into the terrifying truth that quicksand is real, it's in Michigan, and yes—it will eat you alive…kind of. From there, we slide into a tale of babysitter horror with a real-life man under the bed (move over, monsters, the creeps are taking your jobs), and round things out with a Staten Island fire caused by flaming... dongs. Horror fans, we've got you too! Check out all of our halfway to Halloween film picks! Get Lost!
This week on Lost At Home, we explore the absurd extremes of humanity, from the Missouri foster mother who shockingly swapped a teen for a monkey, to the emotional turmoil of a man who hoarded seven emotional support tigers. We also dive into the UK's controversial attempt to predict murderers before they strike, raising big questions about ethics, privacy, and the spooky power of algorithms. Tune in as we try to make sense of these wild stories—because honestly, what else are we gonna do?
The Padres couldn't go 81-0 at home, right? Right. But it took extra innings for them to fall to the Cubs, after starting 11-0 at Petco. Elsewhere, we're seeing power in unexpected places, notably an A's player putting up Reggie Jackson-like numbers. The parable of the prodigal son has a natural focus on the son who leaves, lives recklessly, and returns. But many of us live out our faith like the older brother—living at home, with the Father, yet refusing to enter into joy. The younger brother chased the desires of his stomach and found himse...

This week on the Lost At Home podcast, the hosts dive headfirst (or is it feet first?) into the wacky world of extraordinary burial methods. From BBQ pit graves to mushroom spore suits, they chat about all the ways you can go out with a bang, or a bloom, or a... Lego block? But that's not all, folks! The return of Florida Man news, featuring an overzealous alligator and a land shark (no, not the beer, an actual shark).
