At our Interactive Midweek Service, Pastor Femi Paul continued the series Real Peace, Peace of Heart and Mind with a message titled A Fragile Peace. He contrasted the illusory peace of the world, fragile, unstable, and easily disrupted, with the enduring peace that Christ gives. Worldly peace can quickly collapse under trials and frustrations, but the peace of Christ holds steady even in the face of storms (John 14:27, John 16:33). True peace is not fragile but solid, flowing from a mind anchored in God and His promises (Isaiah 26:3). It comes from learning Christ's way of humility and rest (Matthew 11:29), and trusting Him beyond circumstances. PFP urged us to reject fragile peace and embrace the perfect, unshakable peace of God that secures both heart and mind under every condition.
Do you feel like no matter how many lists you make, routines you try, or books you read—you're still overwhelmed? You're not alone. As Christian working moms, the pressure to do it all can leave us exhausted, anxious, and wondering if peace is even possible. In this episode of Faith Led Working Moms, I unpack the biblical fix for overwhelm that doesn't come from hustling harder but from surrendering to God's design for rest and peace. We'll look at the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19 and how God met him in burnout with food, rest, and renewal before calling him forward. And we'll see how Jesus modeled a pace of life that wasn't controlled by constant demands, but by His Father's priorities. If you've ever thought, “Why am I always overwhelmed no matter what I try?” this episode will help you shift from striving to surrender so you can walk in the peace God promises. ✨ Plus—a quick reminder that this week wraps up the Summer Reset Sale on my Faithfully Balanced course. If you've been longing for practical, faith-centered ways to create balance, guard your boundaries, and restore peace in your daily life, don't miss this chance to grab it at a special price. Details are here! https://bit.ly/faithfullybalanced What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why overwhelm doesn't go away just by working harder The surprising way God cared for Elijah in his burnout (and what it means for moms today) How Jesus responded to endless demands without living in hurry or pressure A simple 3-step framework you can use today to release overwhelm and find peace Encouragement to surrender your to-do list and trust God with what you can't finish ✨ Free Resources for You: Want more encouragement and practical tools? Join our community of moms inside the Faith Led Working Moms Facebook group where you'll find free resources, biblical encouragement, and support from other Christian moms walking this same journey.
Are you pouring a drink to find a moment of peace, only to wake up feeling worse? Head Coach Victoria English explains the neuroscience behind why your brain seeks alcohol for "relief" from stress, pressure, and overstimulation. She details how alcohol's initial effect of boosting calming neurotransmitters and suppressing excitatory ones creates a false sense of peace. However, this temporary fix leaves your brain in chaos, with a rebound of stress hormones and a crash in dopamine, leading to increased anxiety and shame. You'll learn why you're not choosing alcohol, but rather the illusion of relief it provides, and how you can reclaim your peace by building new, empowering paths. At today's Testimony and Thanksgiving Service, Pastor Femi Paul shared a powerful message titled Real Peace, Peace of Heart and Mind. Drawing from John 16:33, he reminded us that while the world offers tribulations, frustrations, and fleeting comfort, Jesus gives a peace that is complete, unshakable, and permanent. This peace is not fragile or circumstantial but a divine gift that steadies the heart and mind, in every season of life. Real peace is proof of real faith in God. It anchors the soul, guards the mind, and ushers in the power of God in ways human reasoning cannot explain. As believers, we are called to embrace this peace, refuse anxiety, and live confidently in Christ who has already overcome the world. Peace of heart and mind is not only possible, it is our inheritance through Christ Jesus.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa ,Waheguru Ji Ki FatehIn this Shabad, Gyani Amrik Singh reflects on how one can attain real peace and bliss in life. He explains that worldly pleasures and material gains are temporary and cannot bring lasting joy. Instead, he advises that the only way to experience true happiness is through Naam Simran (meditation on God's Name) and living according to divine virtues. He highlights the importance of Satsangat (holy company) and encourages devotees to engage in devotional worship, as this leads to inner fulfillment and spiritual liberation. The central message of this Shabad is that true well-being is not found in wealth or worldly achievements but in a deep, loving connection with God. Guru Ji reassures that those who dedicate themselves to God's remembrance are blessed with eternal peace.Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, here is the latest episode of Gurmat Conversation. I greet you in Jesus' precious name! It is Wednesday morning, the 19th of February 2025, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start with Obadiah 1:21: "…And the kingdom shall be the Lord's."Then we go to Psalm 22:28:"For the kingdom is the Lord's, And He rules over the nations."The last scripture is Matthew 25:34: " Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."The kingdom of God shall never fall! Where are we investing our time and energy? We live in a time when nothing is secure and solid. Where do you invest your money? Where do you go for peace and quiet? What country in this world is at peace at the moment? In 1939, Neville Chamberlain, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, went across to Munich, Germany, to meet with Adolf Hitler, who was bent on conquering Europe then. Chamberlain wanted peace, so Hitler said to him, and I quote: "No more territorial demands to make in Europe." He flew back to Britain. Photographed as he got off the plane - that very famous photo of him showing the people of Britain that he had got a peace agreement with Hitler - No more war. Folks, he had barely said that, and Hitler continued his conquest of Europe and declared war against Britain. Where do we find peace? Where do we find solitude? Only when we meet the Prince of Peace! Peace is freedom from anxiety and war - but the peace I am talking about this morning is your peace of mind, folks. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. In John 14:27, He says: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Today, let us invest in eternal things; let's invest in the peace of God; let's spend time with Him.Father, I pray for my friends listening to this message right now. I pray that You will give them Your peace. Peace that cannot be found in this world, peace that will last forever. In Jesus' name, Amen.God bless you and goodbye.

Discover the profound truths of Ephesians 2 and understand real peace in Christ. This passage challenges us to move beyond superficial divisions and embrace the unifying love of Jesus. Paul addresses the deep spiritual and social divisions between Jews and Gentiles, emphasizing that Christ's love transcends all human barriers. Learn how Jesus' sacrifice on the cross broke down walls of hostility, uniting all into one body based on God's mercy. This radical inclusivity of God's love extends His promises to everyone, regardless of ethnicity, moral conduct, or religious observance. As members of the body of Christ, we are called to strive for unity, recognizing that we are all essential and must extend God's grace to others.
