The cross of Jesus is the ultimate proof that He is for you.   Even when life brings trials and troubles, God is still at work—turning every difficulty into something that will strengthen your faith and reveal His goodness. As John Eldredge once said, "No wonder joy is the constant mood of the kingdom!" One day, you will walk in that new heaven and new earth. You'll have all eternity to explore God's renewed creation, to live in perfect fellowship with Him, and to experience the fullness of joy that has always been His plan for you. Revelation isn't just a story about the end—it's the ultimate promise of a new beginning.

Today's Promise: Romans 4:20-22 Faith is more than hope; it's the unwavering confidence that what God has said, He will do. Every promise in God's Word is backed by His unchanging character. When God speaks, His integrity guarantees fulfillment. He cannot lie, and He cannot fail. Faith simply holds on until the promise becomes reality.   In this episode, we'll explore what it means to trust God's promises even when time passes and circumstances seem unchanged. He says the person who builds his life on the Word of God will be like a tree whose leaf does not wither. What does it mean that your leaf does not wither? When all the other trees lose their leaves, the evergreen continues to show it still has life. It's easy to get discouraged, but when you ground your life on the Word of God, you will stand and flourish even through difficult times. When those around you are in despair, you will stand firm and even flourish.

His lovingkindness is his love for you that goes beyond your response. When your world falls apart or you experience a major failure, it's easy to feel like no one loves you. God's love will always be there. God's love never changes, never fails, and never ends.

Today's Promise: Proverbs 1:23 There are two powerful promises packed into this one verse. Both promises are related because God's Spirit and His Word always go together. Pentecost fulfilled this Old Testament promise. The Holy Spirit would no longer rest on a person for a while. Now the Spirit would indwell those who put their faith in Christ. The second part of this promise focuses on God's Word. God will make His words known to you. When the Holy Spirit reveals and empowers the Word of God, it becomes a powerful force working in your life.

Today's Promise: James 1:2-3 The book of James tells us to Rejoice! For most of us, that makes very little sense. How in the world can you rejoice when you face trials and difficulties? No one looks down at a flat tire and says, "Praise God, I have a flat tire!" Instead of looking at your difficulties as a punishment or a curse, James invites you to see them as opportunities for God to work. In every trial, you can rejoice because God uses every difficulty to strengthen your faith and make you like Jesus.

Today's Promise: Psalm 34:18 When life throws you a knockout punch, God is there to draw you near. When you feel crushed by the things you have experienced, God will save you from hopelessness. Being brokenhearted is more than having your high school boyfriend break up with you. The brokenhearted are those who have suffered a hurt of such magnitude that it has left them debilitated. If you are brokenhearted today, Jesus will minister peace and healing to your soul.

Today's Promise: Exodus 23:29-30 Right now, God is working in your life to give you victory. He doesn't give it to you all at once. He works little by little to transform you into the likeness of Jesus. When God told the Children of Israel about the promised land, He promised to drive out their enemies. God would go before them, and He would fight their battles. However, He would do so little by little. God works little by little in your life. He leads you one step at a time.

Today's Promise: Isaiah 30:21 God wants to lead you. Throughout the Bible, God promises to lead, direct, and guide those who put their faith and trust in Him. The problem we face is that God rarely shows us the destination. Like our GSP, God usually gives just the next step. To hear God's instruction, you have to listen for His voice. By walking in fellowship with the Lord and listening to His voice, you can be confident that He will lead and direct your path.

Today's Promise: Matthew 7:11 Jesus described God as our Heavenly Father. When we pray, it's like talking to our daddy. Like a good earthly father, your Heavenly Father gives good gifts to His children. In this promise, we look at four things God does for His children. 1. He likes to give good gifts to His children. 2. He doesn't always give you what you want. 3. He wants the best for His children. 4. He is always ready to help.

Today's Promise: 1 John 5:13 The greatest promise of all is knowing you have eternal life. With all the advancements in technology and medicine, the mortality rate is still 100%. Every person will one day close their eyes for a final time and face eternity. For the Christian, there is no “hoping” for heaven. If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation, you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life. As a Christian, you can know you have eternal life because God has promised it in His word.

Today's Promise: Psalm 86:7 What do you do when your day of trouble comes? No matter who you are, there will be days of trouble. Sometimes you have caused them, and sometimes trouble just seems to show up at your door. The first way you can respond is with fear and worry. You let the “what if?” train run through your mind. You can also respond to the day of trouble by complaining. However, the third way you can respond is to call on the Lord. God will never leave you to face your day of trouble alone.

Today's Promise: Psalm 23:6 In this last verse of Psalm 23, David declares that God's goodness and mercy have always been with him. As David looked back over his life, he saw that even though he had been unfaithful, God had always been faithful. God had poured His goodness and unfailing love on him throughout His life. Just as David looked back on his life and saw the goodness of God, you will remember God's blessing to you over the years. As you do, you will find your faith strengthened and your hope renewel.

Today's Promise: Joshua 1:8 God's Word is filled with success principles. As you obey His Word, He will bless you and bring about your success. God gave Joshua a three-step process for achieving success and prosperity. 1. Keep God's Word Close to Your Heart. 2. Meditate on God's Word. 3. Obey God's Word. As you discover, meditate, and obey God's Word, the Holy Spirit is able to lead you through your day. The principles of God's Word will become part of your thinking and living.

Today's Promise: Galatians 5:1 Jesus set you free. It's as simple as that. You are no longer a slave to your sin, selfishness, fear, or past failures. As a free person in Jesus Christ, never allow anyone to put you back under the law of bondage. Unfortunately, even though we live in a free country, many people still live in bondage to their hearts. They live as slaves to their fears, failures, and desires. However, Christ freed you to live in a loving relationship with Jesus.

Today's Promise: Isaiah 43:19 We all face the wilderness where we don't know which way to go, or what to do next. When you face your wilderness, call on the Lord. Don't stumble in the darkness and confusion. Call out to the One who gives you direction and makes a clear path through the never-ending monotony of the wilderness. When the dryness of the desert comes, cry out to Jesus for the refreshing rivers of living water He promised. He will fill you with living water that comes flowing out from your innermost being.

Today's Promise: 1 Peter 2:24 Because of Jesus suffering on the cross, you can live rightly before God. You can walk clean and pure before Him, and your every hurt, wound, and weakness of your past has been healed. Jesus's death on the cross paid the price for your sin. Through faith, your sin is forgiven, and you are made clean and pure before God. His suffering on the cross not only brought forgiveness, but because His body was broken for you, every hurt, wound, and weakness of your past has been healed.

Today's Promise: Isaiah 44:3 Have you ever been so thirsty that nothing else mattered except finding a drink of water? Physical thirst can be overwhelming—but there's an even deeper thirst that no amount of water can quench: the thirst of the soul. When our spirits feel dry, empty, or worn down, God steps in with a powerful promise. In Isaiah 44:3, He declares that He will pour out His Spirit like refreshing water on all who are thirsty. Just as rain revives dry ground, the Holy Spirit brings new life, strength, and joy to our hearts. You don't have to stay in a place of spiritual dryness. God invites you to drink deeply from His Spirit and experience the overflowing refreshment only He can provide. Today's Promise: Matthew 26:27-28 The night before His crucifixion, Jesus gathered the disciples together to observe the Passover meal. During the meal, Jesus raised a cup and stated that His blood would bring forgiveness of sin. Each of us carries a sin debt against God. The Bible says we have all sinned. (Romans 3:23) That sin debt separates us from God and condemns us to an eternity away from His presence. Through faith in Christ, you now live free from the debt of your sin.

Today's Promise: Romans 14:8 Who are you, really? Most of us spend our whole lives chasing that answer. We look to careers, relationships, successes, and even failures to try to define our identity. But here's the truth: your ultimate identity isn't found in what you do, what others think, or even how you see yourself. It's found in who you belong to. Romans 14:8 reminds us: “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” That one promise changes everything. When you know you belong to Jesus, life takes on new meaning. You don't have to fear the future, because your Father is already there. You don't have to fear death, because your eternity is secure in Him. And you don't have to fear the present, because God is guiding your steps, providing for your needs, and surrounding you with His perfect love.
