Living Water: The Woman at the Well – John 4:1–26 In this episode of Divine Table Talk, Jamie and Jane walk through John 4:1–26, the powerful encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well. What begins as a simple conversation about water becomes a life-changing revelation about worship, identity, and living water that never runs dry. Together, they explore how Jesus meets us in unexpected places, crosses cultural and personal barriers, and speaks directly to our deepest thirst. This passage reminds us that no past is too complicated, no question too bold, and no heart too far for the transforming presence of Christ. If you've ever felt unseen, unqualified, or spiritually dry—this conversation is for you. ____________________________________ Connect with Jamie: Website: www.jamieklusacek.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamieklusacek Connect with Jane: Website: www.janewwilliams.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/janewwilliams

He Must Increase: John 3:22–36In this episode of Divine Table Talk, Jamie and Jane explore John 3:22–36, where John the Baptist humbly declares, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” As questions of comparison and influence arise, John's response reveals a powerful model of humility, joy, and surrender.Together, they unpack what it means to live a life that points to Jesus rather than elevates self, how identity is secured in Christ—not position—and why true joy is found in making much of Him. This passage invites us to examine our motives, release comparison, and embrace a faith that celebrates Christ's increase above all.____________________________________Connect with Jamie:Website: www.jamieklusacek.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jamieklusacekConnect with Jane:Website: www.janewwilliams.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/janewwilliams

Suffering is where transformation begins! What does that have to do with Lent? Many of us approach Lent thinking about what we have to give up. But what if Lent isn't mainly about loss… but about what God wants to build within us? In this episode, we explore the deeper meaning of penance, suffering, and the desert season of Lent. Why does the Church begin with ashes and words about death? How does penance actually train the heart? And why does every sacrifice ultimately point toward resurrection? Journal Questions: Where in my life right now feels like a desert, and how might God be inviting me to encounter Him there rather than escape it? What comfort, habit, or attachment might God be asking me to surrender so He can build something deeper in me? If resurrection always follows the cross, what “new life” might God be preparing in me through this season? In Week 6 of our Familiar Stranger series, Pastor Jason Britt addresses a critical but often overlooked reality: the Holy Spirit is not the only spirit at work in our time. In a world saturated with noise, misinformation, and competing "truths," the gift of discernment is more vital for the believer than ever before. Drawing from 1 John 4, this message explores how to "test the spirits" to see whether they are from God. Following Jesus isn't just about rejecting obvious evil; it's about recognizing the subtle replacements, reductions, and reshapings of Jesus that permeate our modern culture. If you've felt overwhelmed by the "spirit of the age," this message will help you find confidence in the Spirit of Truth who dwells within you.

In this sermon, Senior Pastor JJ Johnson walks verse by verse through Ephesians 2, revealing how we were spiritually dead in our sin but made alive in Christ by God's grace: saved not just from something, but for a greater purpose as part of His bigger story.
Ephesians 2 reveals the miraculous transformation that occurs through God's grace alone, bringing life to what was once dead in sin. We unpack how salvation isn't about human effort but about receiving new life as God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for the good works he prepared in advance. Listen now and be inspired to live out your identity as part of God's unified family on mission.
In this message on Ephesians 2:1–10, Pastor Jim urges us to grasp the depth of what it means to be rescued by grace. We are not simply saved from something but brought into something entirely new. Jim describes the contrast between our spiritual death and the new life found in Christ, inviting us to see salvation not as a ticket to heaven but as a radical relocation into God's household. Through vivid imagery and honest reflection, Jim unpacks the beauty of God's mercy, our position in Christ, and the truth that we are God's workmanship created for good works. The church, as God's new family, becomes a sign of new creation in a world desperate for hope, healing, and wholeness.

Made New | Back to Basics | Pastor Michael Kennedy
Is there a transformative call to seek God's Kingdom? Is the lesson we're to learn concerning a New Life In Christ one of how to include the pursuit of our own goals, at the same time? Can we gain consistency in faith by our own human efforts or by trusting God's steadfast love. Sounds like the answer is given, right? Well then, let's listen to "A New Year, A New Life, taught by Pastor Jamie, to find out just how we can trust God's love in this effort.
In this episode, Paul and I explore different ways people approach God, the often unseen work of ministry, and the tension many churches feel between caring deeply for people and pursuing growth. We talk about authenticity in study and preaching, trusting in the transforming power of new life in Christ, and choosing contribution over criticism.Quotes for Notes:“In the end, if you're going to impact people, you've got to link together what you're learning, and studying, and preparing with the authentic, real-life situations of the people that you are teaching.”“You have got to count on the new life. You've got to believe that the new life can deliver on the promise of God that you will be a new person, that you can go on to holiness, that righteousness is real.”“We've got to realize that in order to be fulfilled in our spiritual experience, I think, we've got to move away from what do I get out of all of this to what can I contribute in service to others?”Links:Help for Holiness: https://www.amazon.com/Help-Holiness-Rediscovering-Resources-SanctificationHoliness Reconsidered: https://www.amazon.com/Holiness-Reconsidered
In with the New | Burnt Hickory Baptist Church The beginning of a new year is often filled with goals and plans—but what about your walk with God? In this episode, we talk through how to build a stronger foundation for spiritual growth by setting your mind on things above, putting off the old self, and actively walking with Christ. This message gives you seven practical steps to keep your faith from being just a feeling and start living out real change. Key Insights: * Spiritual growth requires daily intentionality—you won't accidentally grow closer to Jesus without effort. * Your mindset matters—setting your focus on Christ is the first step to real transformation. * You must actively put sin to death—it won't just fade over time. Confront it and replace it with godly habits. * We grow best in community—faith isn't meant to be lived in isolation. Join the church body and serve. * Forgiveness and love are essential—holding grudges stunts spiritual growth, but grace keeps us united. The sermon centers on the transformative reality of new life in Christ, anchored in 2 Corinthians 5:17, where believers are declared new creatures through the fulfillment of God's New Covenant in Jesus Christ. It unfolds through a series of spiritual renewals—new covenantal grace replacing the old law, a renewed identity marked by righteousness and holiness, a transformed demeanor reflecting Christ-like character, and the promise of a new heaven and earth where God dwells with His people eternally. Emphasizing daily renewal, the message calls believers to embrace each new day as an opportunity for repentance, growth, and faithful living, grounded in God's mercies that are new every morning. The tone is both pastoral and urgent, inviting both non-believers and Christians to seize the present moment for spiritual transformation, not waiting for a future reset but beginning today in Christ.

From a young age, Rudy faced sexual abuse, perversion, and mental health struggles that led her down a path of drug addiction, gangs, and criminal charges. Searching for identity and love, she also walked through a homosexual lifestyle yet nothing ever filled the emptiness inside. The world offered temporary fixes but no lasting peace.Everything changed when Rudy came face to face with the pain and brokenness of her life. Even though many supported her homosexual lifestyle, God spoke to her heart: if she truly loved her partner, she would let go so that she could come to Jesus and experience freedom from the bondage of sin. In a moment of surrender, Rudy chose to love enough to do what seemed impossible. And in that surrender, God made all things new. She left her partner as chains of addiction were broken, shame was lifted, and a brand-new identity was found in Christ. Today, Rudy lives in freedom and purpose, boldly sharing her testimony so others can encounter the same hope she found in Him.Her story is living proof that no matter your past, Jesus can radically change your future. If you feel too far gone, remember this: God's grace is greater than your greatest struggle, and His love never fails. Watch until the end—you won't want to miss this powerful testimony. Lydia's journey from a successful businesswoman who believed in God to a devoted follower of Christ demonstrates the profound difference between merely acknowledging God's existence and surrendering to Jesus as Lord. When Paul shared the gospel with her in Philippi, the Lord opened her heart to respond. This transformation affected not just Lydia but her entire household, who were all baptized. Her home became the first church in Philippi, and her generous hospitality set the tone for what would become one of the most generous churches in the early Christian movement. Lydia's story challenges us to examine whether we've made the crucial 18-inch journey from head to heart in our relationship with Jesus.

In this brief episode we're taking a first look at Titus 3:4-7 and asking these questions: What is Paul doing in this passage? How does this passage function in his train of thought? What has God done? What is the basis of what he has done? What prompted him to do it? Titus 3:4-7 is a beautiful summary of God's saving deeds!
