‘Eyes Of Empathy' – by Jeff Cinquemani   Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman at the well, and the man who sat paralyzed by a superstitious pool—each time Jesus looks into their questions and poses another question that digs deep into the real issue. As a way of showing us to look beyond the surface, Jesus teaches us to see a new perspective, perhaps to find a better understanding. He asks us to empathize, and there is no better example of Jesus' empathy than in Matthew 19. Here he creates a new view of what it might look like if his disciples looked at life from a different set of eyes—eyes of empathy.   Our #WholeLifeTakeAways for this week:   When you think about someone who you've been able to confide in or someone with whom you've felt safe, what was it about them that made you feel that way?   If you think of empathy as having the ability to observe someone and put yourself in their shoes while attempting to seek understanding, what would you say are hindrances to making that a value in your own life?   Oftentimes, empathy is confused with tolerance, leniency, and maybe excusing wrongdoing. How was Jesus able to carry out empathy and the behaviors that followed afterward, knowing that the religious leaders would certainly call him into question?   Jesus seems to express empathy many more times than simply calling out the selfishness of those who were in the wrong and acting out injustice. Some might say this is non-confrontational, while others might say it's seeing the deeper faults on both sides. How do we put Jesus in our own “box” to excuse our lack of empathy?   Which one of these takeaways resonated with you most? Please let us know why be reaching to us using one of the following:   ■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 ■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church ■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links ■ Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways   JOIN US LIVE FOR ‘THE LOOP'! Transitions: Navigating Change – ‘Belief In An Unchanging God' – by David Banks Transitions are a part of life. Whether positive or negative, change is constant in the human experience. Is this also true for spiritual beliefs? Have your beliefs changed throughout your life? How has your understanding of God and your patterns of observance changed over the past 5, 10, even 50 years? In Hebrews, we are told that we serve an “unchanging” God who is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Paul also provides counsel that believers will need to “mature” their faith and build upon a strong “foundation.” How do we best reconcile an unchanging God with a human experience that is constantly changing? Following Jesus Beyond the Cross – ‘The Follower' In their hearts, Jesus' disciples struggled to fill something, to prove something, and to make something of themselves (just like us today), but the whole time he was there with them, all he wanted was for them to follow—just follow. How could this change Jesus' followers today?  This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:  When was the last time you were moving in a particular direction or on your "proverbial way" and your trip was interrupted by someone or something that started to change your mind, or maybe even your direction? How did you respond? What were important things to consider at that moment?  Jesus has a way of helping us see him in the daily routines of life. In what ways could we make that more evident? How might we see it more fully and possibly increase the frequency of those moments? Jesus is the Leader; we are his followers. The one thing that he says about followers is that others will know we are his followers by the love we show to others. What tactics, sentiments, or behaviors might keep other would-be Christians from being followers? The fullness of the Gospel was never meant to be proprietary and only a "Jewish thing.” As "ethnos" (anyone other than Jews), we are part of God's plan and "added in" to receive God's grace, forgiveness, and acceptance. It would seem strange, then, that we would become the "inviters," yet God does allow us that privilege - not to judge or "gatekeep," but invite. When you think about people in your life, who would be easy to invite, and who would be harder? Why?   Which of these takeaways resonate with you most? Please let us know by using one of the following:  ■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 ■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church ■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links ■ Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways   JOIN US LIVE FOR ‘THE LOOP'! Every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. EST our interactive worship service goes live to the internet to engage with you! Ask questions, submit videos or ideas so that we can all grow closer as a community of believers. You can attend in person or online at http://www.WholeLife.Church/LIVE (www.WholeLife.Church/LIVE). Please login to the ‘chatroll' chat feature so we can meet you personally and take your thoughts and questions!   Thank you for listening!  If you've enjoyed this episode, please share it on social media.  Our show is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, iHeart Radio, and everywhere you can listen to podcasts!    NEXT WEEK: REPEAT of Following Jesus Beyond the Cross – ‘The Follower', by Jeff Cinquemani and Service (No IN-PERSON services due to Church Retreat at Camp Kulaqua).   The theme music for Speaking of Grace was written, produced, and performed by WholeLife Church's own Phillip Burks - https://www.phillipburks.com/ (https://www.phillipburks.com/).   Download the WholeLife Church Mobile App! It is available for both Apple and Android.   Say hello on Twitter: https://twitter.com/wholelifeorl (https://twitter.com/wholelifeorl), Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wholelifeorlando (https://www.facebook.com/wholelifeorlando), and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wholelifeorlando (https://www.instagram.com/wholelifeorlando)!  Use the #hashtags:  #WholeLifePodcast #WholeLifeTakeaways #ThisIsWholeLife #FollowingJesusBeyondTheCross

Following Jesus Beyond the Cross – ‘The Destination' He is risen and is our ‘destination'. This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:  We very rarely look at being a "follower" as being a positive position. What do you think are some of your own personal resistances to this request of Jesus to "Follow Me?" If you were to imagine yourself in that time, what would have been your greatest motivation for dropping everything and following this man of whom you'd only heard? As you think about Christ knowing everything about you, what makes it so comfortable for you to hang onto that thought? What do you keep discovering about God the more you know he sees your heart? When you think about Jesus not being the conductor to our destination but truly being the destination, what thoughts come to mind? Which of these takeaways resonate with you most? Please let us know by using one of the following: ■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 ■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church ■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links ■ Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways   JOIN US LIVE FOR ‘THE LOOP'! April 10th the Loop will resume on a weekly basis! NEXT WEEK: Following Jesus Beyond the Cross – ‘The Leader', by Jeff Cinquemani.   The theme music for Speaking of Grace was written, produced, and performed by WholeLife Church's own Phillip Burks - https://www.phillipburks.com/ (https://www.phillipburks.com/).   Download the WholeLife Church Mobile App! It is available for both Apple and Android.   Say hello on Twitter: https://twitter.com/wholelifeorl (https://twitter.com/wholelifeorl), Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wholelifeorlando (https://www.facebook.com/wholelifeorlando), and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wholelifeorlando (https://www.instagram.com/wholelifeorlando)!  Use the #hashtags:  #WholeLifePodcast #WholeLifeTakeaways #ThisIsWholeLife #FollowingJesusBeyondTheCross

Things To Remember – ‘There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow' There's a great big beautiful tomorrow. This isn't just optimistic thinking; it is the promised reality of God. However, before we step into the ultimate one at the end of earth's history, maybe one between now and then would be God's friends finding unity on three platforms: Jesus is the Savior, God calls us to love, and There's a glorious future. Even between now and that final day, God is in charge, and there are many great big beautiful tomorrows in our future. This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:  Why do you think it is important to remember these four points? 1. Fix your eyes on Jesus Hebrews 12:2 2. Trust the gospel 2 Corinthians 5:19 3. Love each other and everybody else too 1 Corinthans 13:6-8  4. There's a great big beautiful tomorrow Phil 1:6, Rev 21:1-4 How easy is it for you to get stuck on what has been? Who in your life has helped you look positively at the future? How does remembering 1-3 above make #4 easier? When bad times come, which they always do, how can you keep believing “there's a great big beautiful tomorrow”? How much do you trust Philippians 1:6 that God who began a good work in you will bring it to completion? In what ways does the reality that “nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God,” (Rom 8:39) make every day a great big beautiful day even when circumstances are bad? Jesus is the savior, he calls us to love, there is a glorious future. How do you like having that belief in common with all Christians? Things To Remember – ‘Love Each Other and Everybody Else    It is our mission to love people—to love people so well that in, and through, and because of God's love being exercised through us, the people we love will be drawn into a lifelong friendship with God, and they too will start loving people. Religious organizations like denominations will codify, policy-make, and set rules to follow. Honor those that promote true loving of people, and tolerate those that don't block loving. However, because God has called you to love, seek to overthrow those that block us from God's call on our lives to love people. This week one of our #WhoLifeTakeAways asked:  What do you think about each of the descriptor of love from 1 Corinthians 13?    “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” So, what about you? What do think about 1 Corinthians 13's descriptors? How do you view them in regards to ‘love never fails'? Let us know by using one of the following: ■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 ■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church ■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways To find out everything happening this weekend to celebrate Andy McDonald's retirement please visit our website for tickets, times, and all scheduled activities! https://wholelife.church/andy-retirement-celebration/ AS MENTIONED IN THIS WEEK'S MESSAGE…. PRINCIPLES FOR HOW WE TREAT EACH OTHER Our Practice of Respect and Community Building 1. Create a hospitable and accountable community. We all arrive in isolation and need the generosity of friendly welcomes. Bring all of yourself to the work in this community. Welcome others to this place and this work and presume that you are welcomed as well. Hospitality is the essence of restoring community. 2. Listen deeply. Listen intently to what is said, listen to the feelings beneath the words. Strive to achieve a balance between listening and reflecting, speaking and acting. 3. Create an advice free zone. Replace advice with curiosity as we work together for peace and justice. Each of us is here to discover our own truths. We are not here to set someone else straight, to “fix” what we perceive as broken in another member of the group. 4. Practice asking honest and open questions. A great question is ambiguous, personal and provokes anxiety. 5. Give space for unpopular answers. Answer questions honestly even if the answer seems unpopular. Be present to listen not debate, correct or interpret. 6. Respect silence. Silence is a rare gift in our busy world. After someone has spoken, take time to reflect without immediately filling the space with words. This applies to the speaker, as well – be comfortable leaving your words to resound in the silence, without refining or elaborating on what you have said. 7. Suspend judgment. Set aside your judgments. By creating a space between judgments and reactions, we can listen to the other, and to ourselves, more fully. 8. Identify assumptions. Our assumptions are usually invisible to us, yet they undergird our worldview. By identifying our assumptions, we can then set them aside and open our viewpoints to greater possibilities. 9. Speak your truth. You are invited to say what is in your heart, trusting that your voice will be heard, and your contribution respected. Own your truth by remembering to speak only for yourself. Using the first person “I” rather than “you” or “everyone” clearly communicates the personal nature of your expression.

Anything added to the good news of the Gospel of Jesus turns it into bad news. Remember to trust the gospel—it is God's work, work done by the Divine, and it can be trusted. Andy's Takeaway from Titus 3:3-7 OUR PART: Once . . . We, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled by others and We became slaves to many wicked desires and evil pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy. We hated others and they hated us. GOD'S PART: But then . . . God our Savior showed us his kindness and love. He saved us,     not because of the good things we did,     but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins and He gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did. He declared us not guilty because of his     great kindness. Remember to trust the gospel—it is God's work, work done by the Divine, and it can be trusted.   This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:   How have you practiced “fixing your eyes on Jesus” this week If someone asked you to define the “gospel” what would you say? Since the word “gospel” means good news what is the absolute good news? By placing responsibility for the gospel on us how does that change what should be good news into bad news? What are some ways the church might be guilty of turning good news into bad news? How is believing more of a result of Jesus's work of reconciliation than the cause of that reconciling? What do you think about this statement? “if my doing is how I get the gospel then, even though it is a small performance of mine, my salvation ends up being at least partially my doing not Christ's. This thinking robs Jesus of his glory.” When would the work of saving be the work of the saved instead of the work of the savior? Jesus Doesn't Make It Easy – ‘Stored Treasure'  We all have treasures we store. Where do you store yours?   This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:  What do you think about this series “Jesus Doesn't Make Life Easy”? Of the four-murder, adultery, payback, and treasure which one most easily plagues you? In your life what have, you thought about Jesus' counsel “Do not store up treasure on earth”? How did today's message affect your thinking about storing up some treasure for a rainy day? What is something you rightfully treasure that could compete with treasuring God? How can you practice not treasuring earthly but instead treasuring the heavenly? How easy is it for you to engage with Jesus' re-working what we may think of as a rule to a larger principle to follow? What treasure in your personal life might need to be re-valued to maintain clarity that you have only one master in God? Jesus Doesn't Make It Easy – ‘Proper Payback'    You punch me, so I punch you back. In the Bible, it's called the lex talionis or the law of retaliation. Of course, one of the problems is that, if you punch me, I don't want to just punch you back; I want to punch you back just a bit harder than you punched me. Rather than revenge, how do we move to reconciliation? Jesus' teaching about proper payback was meant to stretch us. Jesus Doesn't Make It Easy – ‘Easy Adultery'    Adultery has become part of our entertainment. Modern media has hardened us to the pain of adultery for all parties involved; however, we've not spent much time on heart adultery. What will it mean to guard our hearts and minds against objectifying and marginalizing others? Jesus' imagery is pretty drastic when he says we'd be better off with our eye gouged out than for our eye to lead us down adulterous paths. How do we guide our thoughts to keep clear of easy adultery? This week one of our #WholeLifeTakeAways asked: What do you think about the four ways greedy sexual idolatry evidences itself- pornography, using sex selfishly, unable to be whole without it, expecting a fairytale to make you happy?' So, what about you? We would love to hear your thoughts about sexual idolatry and whether you agree/disagree, have a completely different idea on it! Let us know by using one of the following: Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 Email:  podcast@wholelife.church WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways Andy's 5 Tips for Making it Harder for the Devil to Win Us to This Kind of Of Soul Damning Idolatry…. At the very first sign that someone other than our spouse might be a better ear for us, or have more sympathy for us, or understand us better, just shelve that relationship. Take as drastic of action as plucking out an eye or cutting off a hand. End that relationship. If we find ourselves attracted physically or emotionally to someone other than our spouse build distance between us and them physically and emotionally. Don't think you can stand that kind of pride can lead to a life-altering tragic fall. Determine that we want all the joy and fulfillment and meaning and connection and safety that comes from experiencing becoming one in this great intimacy as covenantal renewal and never from the mindset of a consumer. We can strengthen our connection to God that God might bring us the affirmation and fulfillment only available from him, that we might then be equipped to share with a spouse not expecting from them what only God can provide us. Finally, we need to talk to one another as spouses. We can talk to our spouse more. Share your thoughts. This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:  What do you think about taking only 87 verses into the Bible to have the first murder? Why do you think Cain might have felt it was justifiable homicide? What do you like and dislike by defining “murder” as the shedding of innocent blood in time of peace? For Jesus' listeners, the law was sort of ultimate, you didn't mess with the law. What for you would be the equivalent of the law? What tradition, what practice, what philosophy, etc.?    What do you think about the three things Jesus equates with murder with even greater consequences: anger, speaking with a tone of contempt for others, and disparaging another's reputation to the point of killing their good name? Why do you think Jesus puts the worst punishment on calling a person a fool or killing their reputation? How easy is it to damage another person's reputation today? What would be solved if we were quick to listen, slow to speak (text, tweet, email, or post), and slow to get angry? When you were 10, what did you want to do when you grew up? Stewarding the Gospel…of Equality   When we steward well the gospel, we recognize that it calls us to a radical oneness, a radical equality. We are called to give up the pride of separation and see that we are all equal in two amazing ways: all distinctions of prideful hierarchy are leveled in both the condition of being lost and being found.    This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:    What experience made you feel that you weren't equal? How hard is it for you to align with our Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal? It is hard to believe that it's only been just over 100 years that women have been able to vote. What are some sore spots of inequality still today? How have you engaged with children to help them feel equal? What do you think about Jesus saying to the Canaanite woman, “It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs?” How broad is your concept of equality? Stewarding the Gospel…of Equality When we steward well the gospel, we recognize that it calls us to a radical oneness, a radical equality. We are called to give up the pride of separation and see that we are all equal in two amazing ways: all distinctions of prideful hierarchy are leveled in both the condition of being lost and being found. This week one of our #WholeLifeTakeAways asked: How broad is your concept of equality? Can you freely sing “When we ALL get to heaven,” or is it easier to sing “some of us get to heaven?” So, what about you? How broad is your concept of equality? Have you struggled, conquered, still learning? Let us know by using one of the following: Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 Email:  podcast@wholelife.church WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways Quotes from this episode: Martin Luther in his commentary on Romans writes: “The corruption (of which the Apostle here speaks) is so very deep that it is not fully understood even by such as are spiritual (believers). For this reason, the truly righteous pray fervently and entreat God for divine grace, not only because they know that their will is evil, but also because they can never fully comprehend the unspeakable depth of their depravity. So, they humble themselves and earnestly ask God to sanctify them perfectly, …Man (by nature) selfishly seeks only what is to his advantage; he can love only himself above all things; and that is the sum and substance of all transgression. Such (self-sufficient) persons seek only to please themselves and secure applause, even when they follow piety and virtue.” Ellen White from Christ's Object Lessons p. 159-160: “No outward observances can take the place of simple faith and entire renunciation of self. But no one can empty themselves of self. We can only consent for Christ to accomplish the work. Then the language of the soul will be, Lord, take my heart; for I cannot give it. It is Your property. Keep it pure, for I cannot keep it for You. Save me in spite of myself, my weak, unchristlike self. Mold me, fashion me, raise me into a pure and holy atmosphere, where the rich current of Your love can flow through my soul. It is not only at the beginning of the Christian life that this renunciation of self is to be made. At every advance step heavenward, it is to be renewed. All our good works are dependent on a power outside of ourselves. Therefore, there needs to be a continual reaching out of the heart after God, a continual, earnest, heartbreaking confession of sin and humbling of the soul before Him. Only by constant renunciation of self and dependence on Christ can we walk safely. The nearer we come to Jesus and the more clearly, we discern the purity of His character, the more clearly, we shall discern the exceeding sinfulness of sin and the less we shall feel like exalting ourselves. Those whom heaven recognizes as holy ones are the last to parade their own goodness. The apostle Peter became a faithful minister of Christ, and he was greatly honored with divine light and power; he had an active part in the upbuilding of Christ's church; but Peter never forgot the fearful experience of his humiliation; his sin was forgiven; yet well he knew that for the weakness of character which had caused his fall only the grace of Christ could avail. He found in himself nothing in which to glory. Sir William Temple: The only thing of my very own which I contribute to my redemption is the sin from which I need to be redeemed. Stewarding the Gospel…of Others First God's free amazing grace to each of us calls us to a new way. Stewarding the Gospel…of Others First   God's free amazing grace to each of us calls us to a new way. Solving the sin problem is Jesus leaving the comfort of the adoring angels and the forever unity of the Trinity and putting others first. The gospel is the perfect picture of self-donation, and when Jesus' followers follow best, that picture of self-donation recurs in good stewarding of the gospel.   This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:    If you look back on your life, who was someone you looked up to and sought to be like, or maybe even pretended to be? What was it about that experience that was good for you to go through, but also grow out of? When we listen to others with more than just a quiet ear, when we really pay attention to what is "behind the words" so to speak, what does that not only do for them, but also do for us? Knowing that understanding is critical, at what point, if ever, might it be helpful to share our own journey or opinions about theirs? If discipleship, the way Jesus did it, was all about being a servant, how do you see the disciples replicating that style of leadership in the New Testament that tell about their ministry? If we realize that our lives are a beautiful journey with one definite purpose (to live in God's command to love), how will you seek to find ways to make other people's lives better? It's really an adventure of discovery every single day, so what might be the first step?     Which of these takeaways resonated with you this week? We would love to hear your feedback and you can reach us at any of the methods below:   ■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 ■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church ■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links ■ Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways   Listen and subscribe to :15 With Andy, Randy, & Jeff by going to our website: https://wholelife.church/podcast (https://wholelife.church/podcast)! You can listen, subscribe, and share the episode, all from our podcast player or wherever you listen to podcasts!   Thank you for listening!  If you've enjoyed this episode, please share it on social media.  Our show is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, iHeart Radio, and everywhere you can listen to podcasts!    NEXT WEEK: Stewarding The Gospel…of ‘Equality' by Andy McDonald.   The theme music for Speaking of Grace was written, produced, and performed by WholeLife Church's own Phillip Burks - https://www.phillipburks.com/ (https://www.phillipburks.com/).   Download the WholeLife Church Mobile App! It is available for both Apple and Android.   Say hello on Twitter: https://twitter.com/wholelifeorl (https://twitter.com/wholelifeorl), Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wholelifeorlando (https://www.facebook.com/wholelifeorlando), and Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wholelifeorlando (https://www.instagram.com/wholelifeorlando)!  Use the #hashtags:  #WholeLifePodcast #WholeLifeTakeaways #ThisIsWholeLife #StewardingTheGospel

Stewarding the Gospel…of Unfairness   If I run a good race, if I keep the faith, if I obey the law, it seems to be fair that there's a crown of righteousness and glorious future awaiting me. But how can it be fair for God to do it all, and I just benefit? How can it be right that everyone gets a gift? Who really wants to be treated fairly?   This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:   When was a time you screamed the loudest, “That's not fair”? Why do you think it is that we are concerned about fairness? When you think about fairness is it about everybody getting the same, or each getting what they deserve, or how is your concept of fairness related to a level playing field? What do you think about Jesus parable of paying all the workers what they agreed to or more? How is that fair? As a spiritual person how do you stay in touch with the reality of not deserving God's grace? If God's grace saves while we are dead in sin how much of our being “saved” is our doing? How do you feel about being God's workmanship so that any resemblance of a masterpiece is the master's work not ours? Stewarding the Gospel...of Worthiness   You are worthy of God's love. You cannot hear this clearly enough or often enough, and you will never understand the depth of this great truth. When we look soberly at ourselves, we might be inclined to believe that we are not worthy. However, we are worthy, not because we deserve the love of God, but because he has declared it so.     This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways:    If we are worthy by no effort of our own, why are there so many verses telling us how to behave, how to act, how to be righteous? Is God's love really for everyone or just for some? If only for some, what makes them special? As we embrace our own acceptance from God, it helps us to accept others. Expecting the Unexpected: An Unexpected Responsibility   What if God gives you a purpose for which others have told you that you don't qualify? “Build my kingdom on earth” is a pretty big responsibility. The shepherds were given the task of announcing the beginning of this new kingdom, and now it's up to us to begin establishing it in our world. Will we listen to the voices telling us we don't qualify for that job? Or, like the shepherds, will we believe we are exactly the one God is calling?    This week's #WholeLifeTakeAways: How are you wired-do you love the unexpected or are you a little unnerved by the unexpected? What was one of your best unexpected adventures? When you think of something happening unexpectedly do you have a positive or negative in your mind? What good memories do you have of sitting around a break room or campfire just sharing life How do you think you'd react if a dark night you were visited by a brilliant angel? How does the idea of unexpected responsibility sit with you? What makes it hard to believe this is “good news for all people”? How could the shepherds not tell everyone about the baby and the directions the angels gave all matching up? What do you think about the Bible being God telling us “I'm with you,” and asking, “Will you be with me?” What will it mean for you to be with God this season?   Which takeaway(s) resonate most with you? The shepherds were given the task of announcing the beginning of this new kingdom, and now it's up to us to begin establishing it in our world. Will we listen to the voices telling us we don't qualify for that job? Or, like the shepherds, will we believe we are exactly the one God is calling? This week one of our #WholeLifeTakeAways asked: What makes it hard to believe this is “good news for all people”? So, what about you? Is it hard to believe that this is ‘good news for all people'? Why or why not? We hope you'll share your thoughts and ideas with us by using one of the following: ■ Text/Voicemail:  407-965-1607 ■ Email:  podcast@wholelife.church ■ WLC Mobile App:  Media Tab/Podcast Banner and Use Text and Email links Social Media:  #WholeLifePodcast/ #WholeLifeTakeAways SUBSCRIBE NOW and get all the #WholeLifeTakeAways! Speaking of Grace is our weekly message at the WholeLife Church, in a convenient podcast format.
