Most people don't lose their power overnight—they slowly forget who they are. This message reveals what happens when identity is stolen… and how it gets restored. Most people don't lose their power in a dramatic moment. They adapt. They adjust. They survive. And over time, they forget who they were always meant to be. In this message, Eric Thomas exposes what happens when people forget they're royalty—how identity gets robbed quietly, how survival replaces authority, and why remembering who you are changes everything. This isn't about hype. It's about identity, responsibility, and living from who God intended you to be—not beneath it. If you've ever felt like you're living below your potential, shrinking to fit environments, or settling for less than what you know you're capable of… this message is for you. Send us a textIn Part 17 of our verse-by-verse study through Hebrews, the author turns from warning to encouragement. After some of the most sobering passages in the letter, he reminds his readers of the hope they confessed, the suffering they endured, and the confidence they must not throw away. We'll see how drawing near to God, holding fast to our hope, and encouraging one another are grounded not in our faithfulness, but in God's. This is a call to endurance—rooted in Christ, sustained by promise, and confident in what is yet to come. The Biblical Roots MinistriesOur websiteOur YouTube ChannelProf. Solberg's BlogSupport our Ministry (Thank you!)CHAPTERS00:00 Intro and recap04:05 Hebrews 12:1–2 (Run the Race, Fix Your Eyes)10:46 Hebrews 12:3–6 (Consider Christ)17:36 Hebrews 12:7–11 (God's Loving Discipline)23:32 Hebrews 12:12–17 (A Warning Not to Fall Short)33:20 Hebrews 12:18–24 (From Sinai to Zion)44:11 Hebrews 12:25–29 (An Unshakable Kingdom)
As we begin another year, we are reminded from Hebrews 12:1-3 that perseverance in the upcoming months depends not on more effort but on more seeing—seeing Jesus clearly, trusting His strength, and following His perfect example. Let us fix our eyes on Christ!
In this "how-to" and "identity" episode, we will look at the biblical principle of guarding your heart. What does it mean? How do you do it? What happens when you do? What happens when you don't? Proverbs 4:23-27 will be broken down to look at how what you see, say, and do affect your level of God's protection. What open doors can have you walk outside of God's loving protection? Dr. Patty shares a story of a key lesson and question that can help you see the Truth that will set you free. What three perspectives about Jesus that are simultaneously true and how can you switch to God's perspective when you understand them? What is the hidden trap of Satan that you need to be aware of that robs you of your peace and gives the enemy land in your heart? What can you do to break free from that bondage and avoid that trap in the future? Jesus shares insight about when it may be His will for you to remove yourself from people or situations in order to guard your heart. And He shows you your heart and walks you through what you need to do to break free and step back under his protection in your Experience Jesus encountering time. Fix Your Eyes On Jesus by Reading Family Church
After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. -Matthew 17:1-3 NIV

Dave Frodsham of Jubilee Church Wirral on why we can have unshakable confidence in Jesus, especially when life gets tough. Drawing from Hebrews 3, Dave reminds us that when you’re on a challenging journey, you need something absolutely trustworthy to rely on. ⚓️ Titanic vs. True Trust Dave starts with the compelling story of the Titanic. Its name meant “extremely large, powerful, and strong,” but claims of it being “practically unsinkable” were tragically wrong. Names and credentials can fail you! This sets up the critical question: What are you trusting in? In contrast to unreliable boasts, we have more than 2,000 years of unwavering confidence in Jesus. The post Dave Frodsham: Fix your eyes on the greatest ever first appeared on Jubilee Church Wirral.

Maybe you find yourself chasing after a certain number, sometimes even obsessing over it, and in the process forgetting that God actually wants to walk with you in this journey. In today's episode, I'm sharing 3 powerful ways to shift your focus—fixing your eyes on Jesus instead of the scale (or whatever area you feel stuck on). And if you're ready for encouragement, accountability, and a community of women on the same path, come join us in my Facebook group, Lose Weight, Live Free.

No failure is final when we fix our eyes on God's grace. In this week's message from our Life of Moses: Faith in the Unknown series, Pastor Paul walks us through Numbers 21:1-9 and John 3:12-17. The Israelites' struggle with old habits and fiery serpents points us to the greater truth that God's grace is stronger than our failures. Just as the people looked to the bronze serpent and lived, we are invited to look to Jesus—the One lifted up for our salvation. Join us as we explore what it means to overcome failure, live in God's love, and fix our eyes on Christ, the ultimate source of hope. Why is God letting this happen to me? In times of suffering, it's natural for us to ask questions like that. In Hebrews 12, the writer doesn't give us every answer we're looking for, but he does encourage us to fix our eyes on Jesus, who not only helps us understand the purpose of our suffering, but who suffered himself and promises to be with us in our suffering.

Psalm 73Do you feel lost and forgotten when those against God seem to prosper? We grow weary and lose focus of God when evil seems to win. This Sunday we will see that fixing our eyes on God reveals a greater truth -- that God determines our fate. When the world fails we can place our trust in the One who never will.
The race of faith is won not by looking back, but by fixing your eyes on Jesus and pressing forward with unwavering focus.

Open. Your. Eyes. Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God... sound familiar at all? In today's episode, we're talking about something we all struggle with but don't always realize: when our hearts and perspectives quietly drift out of alignment. We unpack what Paul writes in 2 Timothy about the last days, when people will become lovers of pleasure, obsessed with themselves, and distracted by everything the world offers and how easy it is for us to slip into that same pattern without noticing.Fully surrendering to Jesus, that's where the real “success” is. That's where peace, purpose, and perspective are found. This episode is for anyone feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or just a little lost — it's a reminder that no amount of achievement, hustle, or chasing will ever satisfy the way surrender at Jesus' feet does. Maybe today is your day to pause, realign, and fix your eyes back on Him, even in a world that constantly pulls us away.Go to https://betterhelp.com/hopemoquin for 10% off your first month of therapy with BetterHelp and get matched with a therapist who will listen and help #sponsoredBook a call - https://stan.store/hopemoquinINSTAGRAM- www.instagram.com/hopemoquinTIKTOK - https://www.tiktok.com/@hopemoquin

The Stories Collective is back! On March 9th, we celebrated three years of sharing powerful stories, and it's amazing to reflect on just how many lives and experiences that represents. God's faithfulness has been evident every step of the way. We hope you had a chance to catch up on any episodes you may have missed during our break because we're so excited to be back!Today, we have a special episode featuring Sarah Underwood, and we believe her story will truly warm your heart. When our host, Sarah Schalow, first sat down with her, she could hardly finish asking how God had been faithful in her life before Sarah enthusiastically began sharing the countless ways she's experienced His goodness. Sarah's journey with Christ began at just five years old, and her relationship with God has only grown deeper over the years. However, her life was forever changed at the age of 12 when her father was tragically struck by a car and killed while returning home from a men's prayer meeting at their church. With remarkable vulnerability, Sarah opens up about how her family navigated this devastating loss and how she learned to rely on her Heavenly Father in the absence of her earthly one. While anxiety has sometimes threatened to overwhelm her, Sarah's sincerity in casting her cares upon the Lord is inspiring. Her story is a beautiful reminder that God is always near when we come to Him. One of the most impactful themes she shares is the importance of keeping her eyes fixed on Jesus — a practice she intentionally pursues each day. Sarah also speaks candidly about her experiences with singleness and how she continues to trust God's plan for her life, even when it looks different from what she once imagined. Her steadfast faith and joyful perspective will uplift and encourage you. We're so glad to be back, and we know Sarah's testimony will bless you. Tune in and be reminded once again that even when life doesn't go as planned, God's plan is always good.Want to share your story on The Stories Collective podcast in 2025?
