Hosszabb alkotói szünet után visszatért a PD Stories. Némileg megújítottuk a műsort, a folytatásban ugyanis konkrét, a design szakmát foglalkoztató témákat vizsgálunk meg több adáson keresztül. Ami viszont nem változott, hogy mindezt továbbra is vendégeink útján tesszük meg. Az első több epizódot átölelő témánk a design orgs, amit Verebély Melinda segítségével in-house oldalról vizsgáltunk meg közelebbről.

Ezúttal ismét a design határmezsgyéjére kalandozunk és megnézzük, hogy a reklámszakmából milyen út vezethet a design thinking vagy éppen a service design felé. Guideunk pedig ennek a sajátságos útnak a megértésben Havasi Zoli volt, aki hosszú szakmai múltja mellett a Beyond Partners stratégiai design tanácsadó cég egyik alapítója. Zoli meglehetősen sok gondolkodni valót adhat a PD Stories hallgatóinak, ugyanis olyan témák kerültek terítékre mint: A márkaígéret és a fogyasztó tényleges percepciója közt feszülő veszélyes különbség A tanítás önreflexiós ereje A double diamond harmadik pillére, a triple diamond A design gondolkodás mindenhatósága: vagy éppen ennek kétségessége A brand megkülönböztető szerepe

A PD Stories első évadát méltóképpen szerettük volna zárni, és ez remélhetőleg sikerült is, Pőcze Balázsnak köszönhetően, akivel stílszerűen az összes design szakma alapját is jelentő kreativitásról és a hozzá kötődő terüleekről beszélgettünk. Balázzsal a tévés múltjáról, a 13 éves Mitos tapasztalairól és a kreativitásról beszéltünk alapvetően, de egyebek mellett szóba kerültek az edukációs törekvések is, melyekkel a szakmának szeretne visszaadni.

Tom Morris, Jr. has had a distinguished career in television working for America's Most Wanted in the early 90s and becoming the show's Senior Correspondent and most trusted face of the show behind iconic host John Walsh where he worked on many high-profile, headline-grabbing cases. He was contentedly working as a government analyst in the fall of 2016 with his television career in the rear view mirror when producers for A&E's fledgling  reality police show LIVE PD summoned him to New York for an audition six weeks into the show's run.  Tom Morris Jr. joined the show with host Dan Abrams on the 9th episode and is widely credited by network executives and fans (whom he dubbed THE LIVE PD NATION) as contributing greatly to the runaway success LPD would enjoy for 298 episodes becoming the most watched show on all of cable television for four consecutive seasons. In Tom's second week on the show viewership jumped from 600,000 to one million.  By the summer of 2017 viewership topped 2 million for three live hours on both Friday and Saturday nights. The in-studio team of Dan Abrams, Tom Morris Jr. and Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larkin became must see for millions of devoted fans every weekend. 
 
Still passionate about using his broadcasting abilities to affect tangible change, Tom convinced A&E executives to allow him to profile wanted fugitives and missing children during each episode of Live PD.  Those segments have resulted in more that 30 fugitives being captured with the help of the Live PD Nation and over a dozen missing children being reunited with their loved ones. In the fall of 2019 A&E made Tom the host of his own show broadening his on-air crime fighting work with LIVE PD WANTED which has gone on to also become a ratings and crime solving success.
