Our featured interview on tonight's show is with Per Billhall. Per is the owner of Scandinavian Pipes, which is an online retailer of high grade pipes. He started smoking pipes in the 1960s. His first high grade pipe was made by Hans "Former" Nielsen, who is one of the living legends from Denmark. That led to Per becoming a huge pipe and tobacco collector, and show attendee where he became well known. Along with pipe book author Jan Andersson, they started The Pipe Club of Sweden in 1991. Then in 1999, Per started "Scan Pipes". He is now one of the pipe retailing legends from Sweden. At the top of the show Brian will talk about holiday blends, and other special pipe tobacco blends.
Our featured interview tonight is with Tim Garrity. Tim is the President of the Chicagoland Pipe Collectors Club and is one of a few show directors for the Chicago International Pipe & Tobacciana Show. The show is April 11-14 this year. He is talking to us on site from Arlington Pipe and Cigar's smoking lounge, which is a perfect setting for smoking a pipe while talking about pipes and tobacco. Tim will talk about his pipe journey, and provide the latest details on the Chicago pipe show. At the top of the show, Brian will give us a sum up of his own pipe journey, which coincides with his history of working in the business for nearly three decades. It's quite an interesting tale.

Our featured interview tonight is with David-Dorian Ross from The Virtual Pipe Club. The club is a Facebook Group that was started on March 12, 2020 in the wake of COVID lockdowns. They currently have about 2,000 members, and have regularly scheduled live streaming shows, and hangouts with David-Dorian as the host. He is also a Tai Chi Grandmaster. At the top of the show, Brian will discuss a former medical use for a tobacco pipe. This one is not for the faint of heart.

Lexie Hoerl joined the Wabash faculty in 2009. Her primary responsibility is to teach political theory, but she also teaches courses in American government. She has involved Wabash students in her own research and supervised them as they conduct their own. Hoerl enjoys being an active participant in Wabash campus life and can be seen at plays, concerts, guest lectures and sporting events of all sorts.
