Brother Jeff Harris brings a comforting and encouraging message from Isaiah 6 about what it means to trust in our Holy God when times in life are challenging and difficult.
Followers of Jesus must learn to view the world through the filter of his presence and love.

God is present and seated on the throne. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” 4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. (Isaiah 6:1-4) God may give you a difficult calling. He said, “Go and tell this people: “‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ 10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” (Isaiah 6:9-10) God is present in the stump. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land. (Isaiah 6: 13b) A stump can be a means of God’s grace.
How we see Jesus determines how we serve Jesus.
How we see Jesus determines how we'll serve Jesus.
We need this vision of Jesus in our day because: How we see Jesus determines how we’ll live for Jesus.

The train of Almighty God, is a shining train. The train was part of the regal robes of the king, and shows his royalty. Wedding dresses have trains, and it symbolizes royalty. Weddings are really the ladies day. God is everywhere. Light allows us to see His holiness. We are living in a world that is living further and further away from His holiness. God hasn't and doesn't change. He has been showing His holiness without end. The devil is out there nonstop as well. To keep us from seeing God's holiness as being beautiful. The devil is not the horned creature holding a pitchfork. He is beautiful. He's was an Angel. He's the Angel of Light. He's constantly making his wares as something we need so desperately and making it look better than what God has to offer. We have a train that shown, but also a trio that shook. It's right to worship God. We don't do it nearly as much as He deserves and as much as we should. It is appropriate to get excited about God. Not only do we need to worship and praise Him, it's important to do it together. We need to go to church. As Christians, it's dangerous to go with the flow. We don't see God doing what we would like Him to do because our hearts are not doing what we're supposed to do. What holds us captive today, is forgetting He's the almighty God. But God does call us back to Himself. This world needs to see a better example from the people of God. God hasn't called us home yet because there is a work that He wants us to do. God has a set way. When we have the wrong hero in front of us, we're still going to follow the hero. We need to have the right heroes in front of us.

One of the greatest needs in the church today is an accurate view of God. Culture today, even much of the Christian culture, has a view of God based more on feelings and fantasy than on Scripture. What we need is a fresh vision of our God. Isaiah gives us such a vision.

Our transformation is an ongoing, lifelong process.
Bro. Joe Ott delivers some introductory thoughts on the circumstances surrounding the callings to prophesy to God's people of three of the major prophets. They all display a sense of unworthiness of their calling but God gives them encouragement for God's sufficiency of their calling.
Sunday Morning Sermon
Isaiah's vision convinces him of his own sin, but he is forgiven and commissioned by God to bring a call to repentance. However he is warned his message will not be accepted! Nonetheless, there is hope.

We must all put aside our earthly bonds and kings, the King of Kings is the one who should be directing our path.
If we are going to be bold in our evangelism, that means we will have to step out on faith. The question is not as much about what we are to do, but about who we are doing it for. Listen in as we look at what makes Isaiah's actions 'bold!'
How do we face the future in a time of uncertainty, turmoil, terror, war, loss? How do we live with a sovereign God? In Part 01 of this new series, 1) What is sovereignty?; 2) Why do we need to embrace it?; and 3) How do we live with Him (the sovereign God)?
Stand on the end of this Age
Worship starts with a fresh revelation of who God is and leads to commission.
To Every Generation...The teaching ministry of Calvary Chapel Crossfields.....Join us as we go very by verse through the Bible.
1. We must recognize Christ for who he is, if our lives are going to count. 2. We must realize that God's grace is enough if our lives are going to count. 3. We must respond to God's call to a life 0f service, and remain faithful to Him regardless of the outcomes.
Dr. Randy begins his new series this morning entitled, "Isaiah: The Old Testament Evangelist!" In this first sermon, we experience the call of Isaiah as he was set apart for his preaching to the Southern Kingdom of Judah. But, Isaiah, more than any other major prophet of the Old Testament, preaches JESUS CHRIST as Yeshua - the Messiah of the World. Join us throughout this series as God opens our eyes to the powerful preaching of this prophet of God as he FORTHTELLS what is about to happen to God's people in Judah!
