The Story of the Good Samaritan presents a very difficult challenge for a Christian ... what are the boundaries of who can be described as my neighbor?
Listening to Job and his friends can get tiresome! They keep talking around each other and not really getting anywhere to help resolve Job's issues or provide him comfort. When Elihu begins to speak, he is angry and hopes to resolve some issues!
This is a very special sermon featuring Pastor Clint and his son, Austin. Continuing in the Life of Job, chapter 28 is an interlude from the discussion Job is having with his friends. The Poet writes in almost a riddle, and ultimately concludes with the reality that only God knows wisdom ...
Job isn't getting anywhere with his friends, who are mostly just suggesting that he had done something wrong and needed to repent. Job prays that God will stop persecuting him.
When Job's friends learn of his plight, they come over to comfort him. After 7 days and nights sitting with him in the ash heap, they begin a conversation. Can you imagine what happens next?
Did you know that the saying "Lightning never strikes the same place twice" is actually a myth? Job must certainly know that this phrase that we often use wasn't very comforting. After losing all of his signs of wealth and prosperity, his health is attacked by Satan. Will he continue to worship?
Life is difficult! Sometimes things seem to be going well, and then suddenly life gets rough. We're all familiar with the life of Job, but what do we learn from his story?

Jesus sent his disciples out to heal others and to proclaim the message that the "Kingdom of Heaven" has come near. As he sends them out, he warns them about those who will not fully accept the message and will actually be violently against it. He tells them he is sending them out like sheep to the wolves. What are we to understand about being bold in these situations?
If we are going to be bold in our evangelism, that means we will have to step out on faith. The question is not as much about what we are to do, but about who we are doing it for. Listen in as we look at what makes Isaiah's actions 'bold!'
When we are called to reach out to others in evangelism, what exactly prompts us? God is still speaking today, prompting us to go and follow, just like Ananias being told to go and speak to Saul.
When the people who saw the Twelve right after they had been filled with the Holy Spirit, they believed something was going on: that the men were drunk! In response, Peter preaches a sermon to them and 3,000 people were 'added to their number.' What do we learn from Peter the Evangelist?
We find ourselves approaching an empty tomb, not certain what to think. The opening of the tomb is one of the greatest events in history, but why do we celebrate it each and every year? Is this what we should be doing?
We hear the Palm Sunday sermon every year - the story is told each and every year, so much so that we can become a little de-sensitized to what is actually happening. Why is this one of the events so grand that we must revisit it each year?
When Jesus hears that his great friend Lazarus is sick, he delays a few days to be sure that everyone will see the incredible miracle that he is about to perform through the Father. What makes this a grand event? Just that Lazarus is given a second chance? Just that Jesus shows his power? Or is it something else?
When Jesus heals a man who had been blind from birth, it causes quite a stir within his community and with the Pharisees. When we see healings, we often think certain truths about them; we may even see them as 'grand.' But what makes this a truly "grand healing?" Listen in to learn more.
When Jesus tells his disciples to "Feed the People," just what is he asking them to do? What is the significance? In this message, we not only ask the important questions of the text, but we answer this very significant question!
Most people have heard the stories of Jesus calling his disciples, and their radical following of his call. Is there more to this story? Something that makes it really "grand"? Listen as we look to answer these questions.
Easter is coming and we are in the season of Lent. What role does memory play? What is "A Grand Reversal"?
Rev. Ron Fay presents Faith Promise 2016, featuring his testimonies about following God.
With all of the daily struggles that people deal with, how can we know that God wants to fight our battles for us? Listen in as we look at Exodus and the reality of what God wants to do for us!
What do you do when your relationship with God gets difficult?
What do you anticipate for Christmas? What does Jesus anticipate from you? That's the challenge of Christmas each year. Do we really anticipate the call of God on our lives? Do we believe?
In part one of this message, we saw three main characters introduced to prepare for war in heaven ... and in part two, we have the actual war. What did this war in heaven look like? What does it accomplish?
We so often see the Nativity from our own perspective, our on-earth personal idea of sentimentality and symbolism. Can we see the perspective of heaven in the Christmas story? That's what this message begins to discuss.
Is worship in Revelation a model that we can follow in our lives today? In the midst of all that is narrated in the Book of Revelation, worship is throughout. What do we learn? What should we do? Join in on this message ...
Associate Pastor Jeanne Reddick brings a message about Worship.
When the Lamb begins to open the seals, each one opens a little more for us about what God is about. We can trip over symbolism and darkness, or we can choose to worship. Listen in as we see that the only response to what is to come is worship!
In Revelation 4, the scene is set as a door is open to heaven. Now, new details come into sight and we learn new things about God and ourselves. Join us as we continue our look at Revelation Worship.
What does it mean to have open doors? So often we think of an open door as an opportunity or chance to get something we've long desired. However, sometimes an open door is the way something is revealed to us about something or someone. What do we learn about God from open doors? That's what this message seeks to explore.
Associate Pastor Jeanne Reddick shares an inspiring message from the Book of Matthew.
With all the talk about the tithe, where does time fit into the picture? Is God only concerned about money? Is he only concerned about what we do for Him? Can we "earn" our tithe through volunteering at church? This message seeks to answer some of these questions.
