Echoes of Abba in the Philippine HistoryLong before the first missionaries arrived, the ancient peoples of the Philippines already spoke a name for the Father — Abba. From pre-colonial records to early explorer accounts, these echoes remain — whispers of a time when the Creator was known by His true Name. This short film explores the ancient roots of faith in the East — revealing how the worship of the Most High did not begin in the West but was preserved in the islands of gold.Could this be more than coincidence? Could these “echoes of Abba” be remnants of a covenant older than empire?

Morning Worship Sermon with Rev. Bud Hance Scripture reference Isaiah 6:1-5 1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” 4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Bud Hance Scripture reference Psalm 103:8-17, 2 Corinthians 1:3, James 5:11, 2 Peter 3:9, Exodus 34:4-7 Psalm 103:8-17 8 The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. 15 The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; 16 the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. 17 But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children— James 5:11 11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. Exodus 34:4-7 4 So Moses chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones and went up Mount Sinai early in the morning, as the Lord had commanded him; and he carried the two stone tablets in his hands. 5 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

**We were having technical difficulties. Therefore, the entire message was not able to be live-streamed.**When most people think of God, they don't first typically think about generosity – but we should! God is the author of generosity, and Jesus is the ultimate example of God's unselfish love and generosity to His people that is unparalleled to the world we see around us. Our God is not stingy or reluctant to give. He loves to give and is happy to provide and abundantly bless the people of His creation – for His glory and their joy. Therefore, according to Jesus, His disciples should live in a way that reflects God's generosity. By Ken Loucks - Who is the true God? Millions today do not know who He is—or what His ultimate plan for humanity really is. Is God a solitary being, or has more than one divine person existed from the beginning? What changed when Christ was born, and why does that matter? This message answers these vital questions
In order to be fruitful for God, it is not enough to simply realize that we are called to service, nor even to discover what that call is. We must give God time to produce fruit through us, and that means we must learn to be consistent in what we do and persevere in doing it over the long haul. But realizing this truth is much easier than living it out. There are many forces that are both within us and outside us that undermine our best intentions. Today's lesson will look at the last of ten different forces which make it hard for us to endure in the areas of service to which God calls us. When most people think of God, they don't first typically think about generosity – but we should! The gospel makes clear that we are recipients of God's lavish grace and that the cross is the standard of God's eagerness to give.During this sermon series, we will be examining four of Jesus' teachings in the Gospel of Luke and discover the true heart of discipleship that flows from gospel faith propelling generosity in every disciple everywhere!FaithLife Christian Ministries:Download our Free App:https://get.theapp.co/hghqPodcast:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/faithlife-christian-ministries/id1606442323Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/faithlifecmInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/faithlifecm?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==X:https://x.com/faithlifecmTikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@faithlifecm?_t=ZT-8wIjieGeyOk&_r=1Linkedin:https://www.linkedin.com/in/faithlife-christian-ministries-82ab77191/YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@FaithLifeChristianMinistriesWebsite:https://faithlifecm.comDonate: https://subsplash.com/u/faithlifechristianminist/giveTable Talk with Yvette Gallinar:Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/yvette_gallinar/Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/yvettegallinarTikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@tabletalkwithyvette?_t=ZT-8wIjgUR1eJ8&_r=1Apple Podcast:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/table-talk-with-yvette-gallinar/id1729036339Rumble:https://rumble.com/user/tabletalkwithyvettegallinarX:https://x.com/YvettegallinarYouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@tabletalkwithyvettegallinar
Today's lesson will look at the next few of ten different forces which make it hard for us to endure in the areas of service to which God calls us.
