Over the summer I spent some time playing through various games on the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3. This is a great anthology of a lot of cool Genesis games, but also some that are not that good. This episode discusses some of them. There is not much about Phantasy Star or Shining Force because we will do full length episodes about those series in the future. Games Discussed: Alex Kidd Alien Storm Altered Beast Columns Shinobi III Streets Of Rage To further discuss these games, there is also some discussion of: Ninja Gaiden Tetris Strider The background music for this episode's mailbag is from Super Castlevania. The break music is from Shining Force II. We are also on iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher. You can also download episodes from the Internet Archive. Please consider becoming a Patron of the podcast.
The three of us take a look at a 1995 Sega Genesis game we had never played before, Vectorman! Included on several collections of Genesis games, most notably the Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, Vectorman seemed to be Sega's answer to Donkey Kong Country-- but how does it hold up in 2017? Want to skip right to Vectorman? Start listening at 12:14! Next episode we hit another time-relevant favorite of Jeremy P's with Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap for the Sega Master System.

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the Xbox 360 is put through the test on this episode live from the Computer ArenA in Roswell, GA. We compare Sonic the Hedgehog with an actual Genesis to see how accurate it is. We go through several of the games on the disc, and then show off Beggar Prince by Super Fighter Team, a game officially released in 2006 for the SEGA Genesis. Unfortunately, our video archive was cut off after 52 minutes for unknown reasons, so this is all we have...
