As a lifelong, blue chip athlete Tiffany Van Soest is also quite literally a Martial Artist as she expresses herself through the mediums of fighting along with poetry and painting using her greatest tools- the eight limbs which have been sharpened over the span of her on-going career as a 9-time World Champion prize fighter in the disciplines of Muay Thai and Kickboxing on the sports' biggest stages. It is her holy trinity of these three art forms which allow her purest emotions, thoughts, physicality, and spirit to be conveyed as she connects with and inspires her audiences. She is a stand-out, a trail blazer, and one of the most technical and dynamic female strikers of this generation. Outside of fighting and art, Tiffany finds her purpose in philanthropy volunteering with various non-profit organisations geared toward helping children and people in need.  This episode was very special. Tiffany shared with us her perspective towards fighting and life, how much she values her career and worth as a fighter in a world where sex sells. Tiffany is curious about life, open to transformative experiences, and ever evolving as a human being. No UFC, but it was still slick weekend for fight fans! The 'Legacy Fighting Alliance' got things jumping on Friday with their 98th event and it's the second time with the announce team of Ron Kruck, Laura Sanko, and Alan Jouban and I think we can say, they are killing it!!! We had seven fights on the main card AND five ended in a finish! Zac Pauga used some heavy ground & pound to get the first round finish and go 2-0, Joshua Silveira put even more respect on the name, with a superb display of jiu jitsu to get a first round rear naked choke. Tabatha Ricci was like, OK, I'll give you a quicker submission finish, how bout belly down armbar! And Dakota Bush shows what happens when you miss weight after refusing a catchweight fight....a head kick KO, that's what!!! Lucas Clay did those genes proud, as he put on dominant ground display in the Co-main!! And, in the Main Josh Fremd keeps his composure, steps to the side and ends the night in the first round with a thunderous hook!!! Saturday was time for 'Glory Kickboxing' to do their thing, it was the first event of the year! The card was stacked and the champions definitely did shone bright! Tiffany Van Soest showed that reach and height aren't a thing, when you have experience, talent & fire in your soul. It was a masterful performance that had her hearing "And Still". Cédric Doumbé and Murthel Groenhart added another layer to their rivalry, but this night was Doumbe's. The body, head, combo was straight money for 'Le Melleur' as he leaves Rotterdamn, still with the gold. Alex Pereira got the split decision over Artem Vakhitov (which, was surprising, as Vakhitov seemed to control the last two), so he's now officially the two division Glory Champion. AND, the night had a four man Heavyweight tournament!! Rico Verhoeven put on a pressure heavy, controlled performance to get the win over Hesdy Gerges. Tarik Khbabez survived a straight war with Levi Rigters, but Rico's leg kicks and hammering attack was too much in the final. 2019 Female Fighter of the Year, Tiffany Van Soest, talks about how she developed her distinguishable and elevated kickboxing style, as well as her new life in Bali.

Tiffany 'Time Bomb' Van Soest was one of my most interesting podcast guests. Our conversation left me with a long lasting positive impression. You might expect a fighter to be rough and rowdy, but I found Tiffany Van Soest calm and put, eloquent and very articulated. It was also interesting to see how the most accomplished people are also the most humble. Being a world champion fighter didn't blow her ego out. Tiffany Time Bomb is a 2-time glory Kickboxing World Champion and a 5-time Muay Thai World Champion. Having a Dutch heritage, she grew up in California playing sports, surfing with her dad, and enjoying her creative place - the ocean. Tiffany's mindset, emotional intelligence, and outlook in life played a huge role in her successful athletic career. It is a big part of her fight preparation to train her mind. During this conversation, she shares with us her training drills, her routines, and her life philosophy. Moreover, Tiffany also speaks about her upbringing, her other passions and what she is preparing for her future career as a retired athlete. Through my work, I meet and connect with individuals from all over the world who are in a journey of getting something, or somethings. Whether it is more personal growth, unlocking their full potential to compete and win, or simply becoming the best version of themselves, they all share the same patterns and mindset. There are a number of valuable lessons to take from deconstructing their habits and understanding their map of the world. I believe Tiffany's story and philosophy has a lot to teach us.
