García de la Granja ha señalado que para un piso tipo de 90 metros cuadrados, los precios se sitúan en casi 600.000 euros en San Sebastián y 576.000 euros en Madrid. Esto obliga a tener ahorrados entre 178.000 y 172.000 euros, respectivamente, solo para poder solicitar una hipoteca.El análisis destaca que "la entrada media para comprar un piso supera los 170.000 euros en las capitales más caras". Este domingo 19 de julio, casi toda España estará mirando hacia una pantalla para ver jugar a la Selección Masculina de Fútbol la final del Mundial. En menos de un mes, otro evento tendrá también el efecto de unir a casi todo el país, pero será mirando a un lugar muy distinto: el cielo. El miércoles 12 de agosto, hacia las 8 de la tarde, empezará el primer eclipse total de Sol visible desde la Península Ibérica en más de un siglo. Se podrá ver otro en el sur en 2027 y otro anular en 2028, pero lo que tiene de especial el de este verano es que su franja de totalidad abarca muchos lugares. De oeste a este, desde Coruña hasta Palma, pasará por Oviedo, León, Zaragoza o Valencia, y por muchísimos pueblos y ciudades de la España vaciada. La película "Impacto" (Blow Out 1981) de Brian de Palma, "Estallido mortal" en México y "El sonido de la muerte" en Argentina, muestra a un John Travolta como técnico de efectos de sonido que en Filadelfia graba un accidente de un candidato presidencial, que pudiera ser un asesinato. Si el italiano Antonioni se basó en un relato del argentino Cortázar para hacer "Blow Up" en el Londres de los locos años 60, De Palma cambia la fotografía por el sonido, como la clave de esta historia. Así Pablo se entera de la conspiración que hay contra él, por lo que oye un sobrino del que no sabemos más en el Nuevo Testamento, Al oírlo, le manda al tribuno romano, que protege su vida, mandándole escoltado a gobernador romano de Cesarea. Como tantas veces, la Providencia utiliza instrumentos extraños para el cuidado de los suyos. Es la ciudadanía romana la que salva a Pablo del odio de los judíos. Así Dios usó un instrumento débil e imperfecto como Martin Luther King para librar de sus hijos en la discriminación que sufría la población afroamericana en Estados Unidos hasta los años 60. Escuchamos escenas del documental "Martin Luther King, más que un sueño" y fragmentos del libro de Antonio Muñoz Molina, "Como la sombra que se va", que entra en la mente del predicador y su asesino, cuando huye tras su crimen a Lisboa. Full Text of Readings Friday of the Twelfth Week in Ordinary Time Lectionary: 375 The Saint of the day is Blessed Raymond Lull Blessed Raymond Lull's Story Blessed Raymond Lull worked all his life to promote the missions and died a missionary to North Africa. Blessed Raymond Lull was born at Palma on the island of Mallorca in the Mediterranean Sea. He earned a position in the king's court there. One day a sermon inspired him to dedicate his life to working for the conversion of the Muslims in North Africa. He became a Secular Franciscan and founded a college where missionaries could learn the Arabic they would need in the missions. Retiring to solitude, he spent nine years as a hermit. During that time he wrote on all branches of knowledge, a work which earned him the title “Enlightened Doctor.” Blessed Raymond Lull then made many trips through Europe to interest popes, kings, and princes in establishing special colleges to prepare future missionaries. He achieved his goal in 1311, when the Council of Vienne ordered the creation of chairs of Hebrew, Arabic, and Chaldean at the universities of Bologna, Oxford, Paris, and Salamanca. At the age of 79, Raymond went to North Africa in 1314 to be a missionary himself. An angry crowd of Muslims stoned him in the city of Bougie. Genoese merchants took him back to Mallorca, where he died. Raymond was beatified in 1514 and his liturgical feast is celebrated on June 30. Reflection Raymond worked most of his life to help spread the gospel. Indifference on the part of some Christian leaders and opposition in North Africa did not turn him from his goal. Three hundred years later Raymond's work began to have an influence in the Americas.
