"All of your guys were around when four-strokes came out," said the AMA's Mike Burkeen in Thursday night's AMA Arenacross press conference. "The rules were made and it turns out they weren't very good. They basically killed off the two-strokes. Once it happened we couldn't put the genie back in the bottle. With the electric bikes we didn't want to go full-bore and then just cut it off if we find out it doesn't work. Because everyone has made purchasing decisions already, then we'll have all these guys that they bought under what they would say were bad pretenses. So we want to walk before we run, but we definitely want to run. What that looks like? Nobody knows?" Arenacross can serve as the testing ground to see where electric could fit, so a new stand-alone class for Stark Varg electric bikes has will fit into the Arenacross structure for 2024-2025. Have a listen to last night's press conference as the series explains the new class, and hear from riders like Josh Hill and Justin Bogle. Don't worry, the traditional AMA Arenacross class for 250s and 450s remains, with Kyle Peters trying to hold off riders like Ryan Breece and Vince Friese to notch a record sixth-straight championship. But in the Dash for Cash, it will be electric versus combustion! All the stars are here to talk about their prospects before tonight's season opener in Reno, Nevada. The Racer X Exhaust podcast is presented by Yoshimura and Racer X Brand.

Terren O'dell was one of the most promising amateur motocross talents of the 2000's. As an amateur, he routinely finished in front of some of the most well known names in motocross you will see today. Some of those names include Eli Tomac, Dean Wilson, Justin Barcia, Ian Trettel, Blake Wharton, Malcom Stewart, Vince Friese, Cole Seely, just to name a few. A very promising future was stunted by the ramifications of the 2008 US financial crisis, which saw most of the factory teams hesitant to support many riders. After a couple years of struggling to secure a ride, Terren made the decision to retire from professional racing to support his family. He spent most of the following years relatively absent from the sport, but made a fiery return to competitive racing in 2020 at the Motoplayground Race in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where he was the class of the field in most of his motos. It was clear to everyone that Terren still had it, and in 2021 Terren qualified for Loretta's in the +25 class where he made a strong showing and finished 6th overall. Terren is an awesome guy and we had a blast sitting down to talk to him.
Keefer gets to ride and test the Smartop Bullfrog Spas Honda of Vince Friese and walks you through the bike and what it's like to ride.
The battles between Kaven Benoit and Vince Friese during the 2014 CMRC Canadian Motocross Nationals immediately went down in Canadian MX Folklore. It all came to a head at the penultimate round in Ulverton, Quebec, when Kaven's brother, Karel Benoit, got involved, fans threw rocks at Vince, stood in his way, and Vince put Kaven on the ground. In fact the Quebec fans were called "like monkeys" by Vince and then circled his rig so he couldn't leave! It was a day like none other. Here are their post-race interviews from that day.
This week Darkside welcomes on Keefer (for a bit) and then Travis Marx alongside Samantha Marie to discuss the latest Pulpmx Show including Vince Friese coming on, rappers, new guests and maybe some Keefer After Dark

Here we go! It's round 4 of RMFantasy SXperts for the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Season! Last weekend at Anaheim 2, Eli Tomac looked dominant as he claimed his first win of the 2020 season. Roczen looked poised to take the win but Tomac wasn't going to be denied his first win. Kenny still rode great and finished 2nd. Webb returned back to form with a solid 3rd and Zach Osborne and Jason Anderson rounded out the top 5. But probably the most impressive stat was Vince Friese taking the wild card spot for the third week in a row! This week Chase and Christian go over riders average starts, finishes, and qualifying so far in the season to see if we can see some patterns that will help you make your top 5 picks and the wildcard. This week starts will be crucial due to the triple crown format. Instead of one, twenty minute main event, the riders will be faced with three, 12 minute mains. With this format riders like Eli Tomac who have struggled with starts thus far will have their work cut out for them. So who has the best starts so far this season? Better listen to find out! Tune in to get all the info you need to maximize your points and break into the top 10 this week. Win some amazing prizes and be in the hunt for grand prizes at the end of the season like a 2020 KTM450SX-F Factory Edition and a raced prepped KTM250SX!
