Listeners of The Steve Matthes Show on RacerX that love the show mention:The Steve Matthes Show on RacerX podcast is an absolute must-listen for any motocross and supercross fan. From the moment I discovered this podcast, I have been hooked, eagerly refreshing my podcasts every hour on Sunday to make sure I don't miss a new episode. The banter between Steve, JT, and Weege is hilarious and I find myself laughing out loud multiple times per episode. Not only is it entertaining, but it also provides the best insight available on what happened at the races.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the friendly arguments between Steve and JT. Their back-and-forth cracks me up every time, with poor Weege always seemingly stuck in the middle of it all. I also appreciate that they always give honest opinions, whether you like it or not. The truth may not always be what we want to hear, but it's refreshing to have hosts who are not afraid to share their genuine thoughts and feelings. Furthermore, Steve's knowledge and connection to everything moto, especially Blue Crew (Yamaha), keeps listeners informed and up-to-date.
As a relatively new listener to podcasts, discovering The Steve Matthes Show has opened up a world of entertainment for me. Since A1, I have been utterly hooked on this podcast's perfect blend of serious information and pure stupidity. As someone from the UK, it's great to hear how things go down in the sport from across the pond. Additionally, Keefers after dark segments are just too funny for words.
On the downside, there are moments when guests tend to talk over each other or stray off topic for extended periods of time. While it doesn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the show overall, it would be nice if they could work on keeping discussions more focused. Another minor issue was during one episode where Jason's phone connection was poor and made it difficult to hear what he was saying. It would have been better if they could have realized and corrected the problem before publishing.
In conclusion, The Steve Matthes Show on RacerX podcast is a fantastic way to hear how motocross and supercross really happened and why it went that way. The insights shared by past champions and industry experts provide a unique perspective that you won't find through traditional media sources. Despite its occasional flaws, this show is undoubtedly one of the best in the moto world, delivering great interviews, discussions, and news updates. I cannot recommend it highly enough for any motocross fan looking for an entertaining and informative listen.
