Yale Hollander did his first stand-up set in 1985 and his second in 2016. Things changed a bit between them. Hollander became a lawyer, which has served him well in the St. Louis comedy scene. He books shows in the area, including at the Gaslight Theater and works at the Helium Comedy Club. He also regularly submits to the New Yorker's caption contest -- much to the delight and disdain of his peers.Follow Yale Hollander: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/yalehollander/Twitter: https://twitter.com/YaleHollanderSupport the show

The Loop Trolley platform just outside the Pageant in the Delmar Loop was packed last Friday evening with people waiting to board. That hasn’t been a common sight in recent months following the launch of the controversial trolley, but on this particular night, something was different. Local comedian Yale Hollander was rolling out the first iteration of Laugh Tracks, a unique comedic combination in which attendees need only pay the $2 trolley fare for about 45 minutes of family-friendly standup while riding the nostalgic vehicle. He talks with host Sarah Fenske and with local developer and trolley booster Joe Edwards about the comedy, the trolley and more.

Everything seemed to go wrong when host Mollie and fellow comedian and friend, Yale Hollander, came together to record this episode. First the recording studio was booked, and then they found themselves in a conference room with high ceilings and hot air. But Yale, being the funny man he is, stopped this episode from becoming the casual plot of an escape room, admitting that he liked and was used to being in saunas. From then on, the rest is history. As Yale unfolds the many interesting chapters of his life - from creative writing to admitting he's a Jewish man that loves Christmas - you'll find out it's never too late to start following your passions, especially if that passion is stand up comedy. Yale's comedy showcase, COFFEE BREAK, will be on Friday, January 11th, 2019, at 8pm at The Monocle in St. Louis, Missouri. Music featured is 'Kick The Door In' by Same Difference Music, and is available on all streaming services.

We also get a chance to meet his principal commercial sponsors Car-Doc Automotive, Clementine's Naughty and Nice Creamery, and The Monocle.

Yale also gives us an exciting announcement for 2018, but you can always check out his monthly showcase + open mic, The Comedy Penthouse.
