Ryan Carson taught over 1,000,000 people how to code at Treehouse and spent 25% of his entire life doing it. Now he says everything about that process needs to change. In this livestream, Ryan joins Corey Noles and Grant Harvey to rethink programming education from scratch. When AI agents can write production code, pass competitive coding challenges, and ship features while you sleep. We'll cover:
AI is reshaping what it means to be a modern manufacturing professional. When a 30-year veteran retires, decades of expertise used to leave as well. How they ran a machine, which feeds and speeds worked, and all the practical knowledge that separated good from great. Now, Mastercam's AI co-pilots can capture that information and make it instantly accessible. The learning curve that used to take years can now be compressed into months, making manufacturing careers more accessible to the next generation.Chris sits down with Russ Bukowski, President of Mastercam, to explore how CAM technology has evolved from manual G-code programming to AI-powered systems that are fundamentally changing manufacturing accessibility. The conversation covers the business side of manufacturing transformation, why mid-size machine shops and tier-two suppliers are no longer at the mercy of large OEMs, the leadership lessons Russ learned from Walt Disney and why manufacturing salaries are starting at $80K+ for CNC programmers. In this episode, find out:How CAM systems act as a 10x multiplier for manufacturing professionals. The evolution from manual G-code programming to AI-powered CAM systemsWhy Mastercam's AI co-pilot is bridging the knowledge gap left by retiring manufacturing expertsHow post-COVID supply chain vulnerabilities are driving companies to vertically integrateThe power shift giving mid-size manufacturers leverage in negotiations and exclusive supplier agreementsWhy manufacturing needs to be promoted as a viable white-collar careerHow technical expertise creates leadership credibility The importance of visiting customers and talking to shop floor employeesWhat Mastercam's acquisition enabled in terms of investment, innovation, and customer relationshipsEnjoying the show? It's not going to replace a program or replace an operator, but it is going to enable them to do more and to move more quickly in the business.”“CAM is really that enabler. Without it, the digital design to physical machine process is slow and error-prone. It removes the cognitive burden and makes complex manufacturing possible. It's that 10x multiplier for somebody in manufacturing, making somebody a 10x manufacturing expert because they're able to deliver results so much faster by using computing power.”“I always like to ask myself this as a leader, if nobody was looking, if there were no repercussions, would I still make the right decision? Winning The Finest Feathers in the Forest competition was nothing new for Periwinkle the bluejay. Four years of trophiesand the admiration of every bird in the canopy should have made her feel important—but somehow, they didn't. So Peri kept herself busy, fluttering from one good deed to the next, hoping usefulness would fill the empty space inside. In her quest for purpose (and to keep herself busy), Peri accepted an invitation to share a story at the forest children's hospital. But no story ideas would come. As she struggled toprepare, Periwinkle quite literally ran into her favorite author of all time, Quilma Inkbeak. Will Ms. Inkbeak help Peri discover the greatest story of all time…or something even better? Join us to find out, and to learn how, more than anything else, Jesus wants us to KNOW Him. He gave His life so we could be His friends.Learn more about Ms. Adventure's Treehouse by joining our Facebook or Instagram communities or connect with Charity at msadventurestreehouse@gmail.com.

Colin and I just spent two nights at Bolt Farm Treehouse and I'll be honest… I can't turn the hospitality side of my brain off. If you're in the short-term rental or boutique hotel world, you already know their story. It's talked about a lot. But this episode isn't about the hype. It's about what it actually feels like to check in as a guest at a high-end brand everyone admires. What surprised me. What impressed me. What made me pause. Because here's the truth: not everything was perfect. There was a last-minute room switch. An "all-inclusive" experience that wasn't fully inclusive for dietary needs. A few small design and communication hiccups. And yet… it still worked. We still left feeling connected. Rested. Thought about. Why? Because the welcome was strong. The intention was clear. The storytelling was emotional. From the curated in-room upgrades to the cocktail hour experience to the way they invited guests into something bigger than just a place to sleep, there were so many moments that reminded me what hospitality is actually about. In this episode, I break down: ➡️What they did exceptionally well ➡️Where clarity and alignment could have been stronger ➡️What "all-inclusive" really needs to mean ➡️How guest flow impacts shared spaces like wellness areas ➡️Why appealing to all five senses changes everything And the biggest takeaway? Your property does not have to be flawless to be unforgettable. Excellence isn't perfection. It's thoughtfulness. It's alignment. It's making sure the experience you promise is the experience your guest actually walks into. If you're building a micro-resort, refining your STR, or dreaming about something bigger, this one will challenge you in the best way. Let's get into it. Mimic poison frogs are utterly amazing, famous for mimicking multiple different frog species, and like other dart frogs they demonstrate bi-parental care where both male and female frogs team up to look after the young. What we didn't know was how flexible these parental roles are - can females step in to move tadpoles when males start slacking, and what triggers them to do so? It turns out they can, but they don't always. Chinese conservationists have worked hard to protect the critically endangered Chinese alligator, creating new habitats for them after significant alterations made most of their Yangtze River home unsuitable. Thanks to the power of GPS technology, we now have some fascinating insights into how they are using the wetlands they are being reintroduced to, and it's mixed news. We welcome back Julie Gilmor to preview Run Liberty's 10th anniversary race day on March 28, 2026—now featuring an all-new 10K. We dig into how the 10K starts with the half at 8 a.m., swings through Seaport, and finishes with the 5K, giving runners fresh scenery without heavy new infrastructure. We clear up the name-and-logo shuffle: the race is now “Run Liberty,” proceeds benefit the Liberty Live Well Foundation, and Liberty Hospital's new partnership with The University of Kansas Health System strengthens local care. We talk presenting sponsor Give Me Liberty, the America 250 tie-in, and why this nonprofit race keeps 100% of proceeds in the community. Expo fans rejoice: we're staying at William Jewell, Omni Apparel returns with merch (including an inaugural 10K shirt), and those beloved Liberty gloves live on. We cover medals (6-inch half, 5-inch 10K, 4-inch 5K), generous cutoffs around 16-minute miles, and safety upgrades on the frontage road. Big River Race Management joins the team this year, bringing major-league timing and logistics. We also plug our March 12 Chasing Rabbits Run Club x BOTP four-year party where Run Liberty will be on site with swag and a few race entry giveaways. And yes, we celebrate Fret Row's eternal lukewarm beer stop and the on-course pass by the TreeHouse, a visible reminder of where dollars go. Hills included, community amplified—register, show up, and we'll see you at the finish.

Terrified Together with Will Soto of the Red Treehouse Podcast In this Terrified Together collaboration with Will from the Red Tree House podcast, we explore two fascinating listener submissions, starting with Zach's UFO encounters in Colorado. Zach's first sighting occurred during late winter or early spring 2018 while stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on I-70, when he spotted a massive flying wing with camouflage technology that made only its outlines visible—like the Predator's cloaking effect—slowly moving eastward toward the DIA and Buckley Air Force Base, seemingly unnoticed by other drivers despite its size and unusual appearance. His second encounter happened on July 4th of either 2021 or 2022 when he witnessed a completely silent, wingless pod-shaped craft—roughly the size of a smart car with thin brown and orange stripes like an old Winnebago—flying just above housetops near his girlfriend's neighborhood, headed directly toward Waterton Canyon and the nearby Lockheed Martin facility. We then hear Megan's enchanting story from northern Minnesota between 2005 and 2009, where as a young child visiting her grandparents' 100-acre property, she developed a mysterious habit of placing quarters and shiny objects under rocks near the boathouse, only to return the next day and discover her offerings had doubled—a phenomenon she suspected might be the work of the fae, though her family never believed her when she finally shared the story years later. For Maha Kikugawa, belonging begins in nature. Growing up in Japan, later studying ecosystem science in the US, and living in Europe, she developed a global perspective — and a deep respect for natural environments. That foundation shaped her journey of creating Treeful Treehouse in Okinawa with her father, built around one core idea: coexistence with nature. As Maha reflects on what it means to create experiences rooted in coexistence, she explores the relationships between forests, local communities, and ourselves. From designing treehouses that respect the land they stand on to building a global community through authenticity rather than advertising, she shares why today's travelers aren't searching for more — they're searching for meaning. At its heart, this episode is a reminder that belonging isn't something we build from scratch; it's something we return to. 【Her Story】Growing up with a global experience to building a brandBuilding Treeful Treehouse around the concept of coexistence with nature, from architecture and energy systems to daily guest experienceHow Treeful gained international attention (CNN, National Geographic, and Vogue — just to name a few!) through authentic storytelling and word of mouth, without paid advertisingDesigning experiences for travelers seeking something different from conventional hotel stays.加入會員,支持節目: https://careher.firstory.io/join留言告訴我你對這一集的想法: https://open.firstory.me/user/cky6u8bgpwpn00858w0xrike6/comments Powered by Firstory Hosting

Andrew and Amanda contend with artificial intelligence. Need we say more?
It's 2009 in Fairview, North Carolina. Two teenage cousins are hanging out in a treehouse ten feet off the ground, stereo playing Elton John's "Benny and the Jets" into the cool fall night. Then, right around the third "Benny," time seems to stop. A massive finger, easily twelve inches long and covered in matted gray-brown fur with a thick black talon, slides through the cracks in the floorboards. Not frantically. Methodically. Back and forth. Whatever was attached to that finger was standing on the ground below, which means this thing had to be enormous. The boys froze, paralyzed by a fear Blake describes as primordial. Something deep in his DNA telling him there was no escape, no fight, just freeze and hope. But that's just the beginning. Blake's story opens up into a lifetime of strange encounters across the Carolina mountains: precognitive dreams that run in his Cherokee family line, a UFO sighting that vanished the moment it knew it was being watched, and a bizarre vision of a Native American chief named Timbo that he never went looking for. We dig into what makes North Carolina such a thin place, the connection between curiosity and intelligence in these creatures, and why Blake believes these encounters, terrifying as they are, have only deepened his walk with Christ. This one's got Bigfoot, orbs, little people lore, and a whole lot of Appalachian strangeness. Want to listen to this episode and an entire back catalog of exclusive members-only content? On a November night in Key West, FL in 2017, friends Paula and Roger were hanging out and partying in Paula's makeshift home nicknamed “The Treehouse.” Without warning, they were suddenly accosted by two masked men, leading to a tragic killing. The subsequent police investigation quickly mutated into a convoluted conspiracy involving drugs, coercion, and corruption. The result: a lone defendant representing himself in court swearing that he had been falsely accused - a man Paula swore was not one of her attackers… Special thanks to Franklin Tyrone Tucker for his willingness to speak with us for this episode. Francis Ford Coppola is one of the greatest directors ever. Period. Yet even his resume is not devoid of misfires and flops. Enter Jack, a dramedy about a 10-year old kid trapped in the body of a grown man. No, this isn't Big. In this 1996 film, the titular kiddo, Jack Powell, ages far faster than his peers. With that odd condition comes its own set of issues. As one may assume, yes, poor Jack would have a very short lifespan. Therein lies the problems. Not that a family film shouldn't include some moments of seriousness, but Jack generally doesn't balance the whimsy and the melancholy well. Hence its poor reception from critics. That aside, there is an earnestness to Robin Williams' performance, and the movie does have a few laughs. Are there enough for it to warrant a watch? That probably depends on the individual viewer's tastes. Now, sit back, age gracefully with a Buenos Tiempos from Belching Beaver Brewing, and save those red Gummy Bears! The Thunderous Wizard, Chumpzilla, and Bling Blake are drunkenly hashing out all our problems with Paulie. This Week's Segments: Introduction/Plot Breakdown – For some people, 40 is the new 10.
