Give Me Sport indicates that the Premier League champions are "refusing" to give up their pursuit for the Sweden international, who has scored 62 goals in 109 appearances since joining the Magpies in 2022. The report states that Liverpool are ready to shatter the new British transfer record, which will soon be the £116m they have agreed with Leverkusen to sign Wirtz, to bring Isak to Anfield. Isak, 25, has three years remaining on his current deal at St James' Park. It's a midsummer special on the week of the longest day of the year (if only there was a proper name for it...)It's also pretty much square in the middle of Manchester United's summer break, with a month gone since last season and a month until the first pre-season fixture. The Premier League fixtures were announced this morning and we react to a tough start!Andy has been speaking to Omar Berrada, at great length, about his plans for the club and we consider his performance, both in the interview and in the job. Finally, sort of, there's a glimpse into Carl's breakdown of Ruben Amorim's ideal striker and whether he can buy one who matches up in reality. The "sort of" is because we have an extra bit with Ian and Andy reacting to the news that ticket prices for individual fixtures will go up next season. Hosted on Acast. Forest leading the race for Serbian Striker Dušan Vlahović! Win a Forest Team Signed Shirt! Only 99p!: https://footballprizes.co.uk/product/forest-bundle/ Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for a breaking transfer update as Nottingham Forest emerge as frontrunners to sign Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović! Fresh reports from Teamtalk today reveal the Serbian forward, with just one year left on his contract, is keen on a Premier League move this summer and appears set to leave Juventus. Valued for his physical presence and goal-scoring prowess—14 goals in 39 appearances this season—Vlahović sees Forest as the most attractive option, edging out interest from Manchester United and AC Milan, thanks to the Reds' European qualification and ambitious project under Nuno Espírito Santo. The transfer buzz is fuelled by Vlahović's contract situation, making him a potential bargain with Juventus reportedly open to a £25m deal, a steal for a player of his calibre who was once valued at £70m. With Forest's attacking options needing a boost ahead of their Europa Conference League campaign, Wolfie dissects whether this towering striker could be the missing piece, especially after Chris Wood's solid but aging output. Despite competition from Man Utd, who are seeking a Hojlund upgrade, and AC Milan, Forest's seventh-place finish and Marinakis' financial backing could tip the scales—Wolfie analyzes if this move aligns with the club's long-term vision. Would Dušan Vlahović be a dream signing for Nottingham Forest, or is this too good to be true? Wolfie breaks down the pros and cons, from Vlahović's proven Serie A record to the challenges of adapting to the Premier League, and gives his verdict on whether he'd strengthen the squad. Drop your thoughts in the comments—do you want Vlahović at the City Ground, or should Forest look elsewhere? Forest might have already got their first signing over the line, and its a Brazilian Striker! For Exclusive Content Join FFTV Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ForestFanTV Forest Fan TV brings you a thrilling transfer update as Brazilian outlet @futtmais reports that Nottingham Forest have agreed a €20m (£16.5m) fee with Botafogo for their star striker Igor Jesus, with the 24-year-old Brazilian international set to participate in the Club World Cup before any move is finalized. Despite interest from Arsenal, who made a loan bid in January that was rejected, Forest appear to have stolen a march in the race for the versatile forward, dubbed “fast” by Brazilian media for his pace, movement, and finishing. Wolfie breaks down this exciting development, analyzing whether Jesus, who has six goals and one assist in 22 games this season after a 25-goal, nine-assist last season. Wolfie dives into Igor Jesus' profile, highlighting his role in Botafogo's 2024 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa Libertadores triumphs, and why his physicality and technical attributes make him a strong fit for Nuno Espirito Santo's system. However, with @EspacoGlorioso noting that Jesus has not yet fully committed to the move and is contemplating his future, Wolfie explores whether Forest can convince the four-cap Brazil international to join their European project over Arsenal's allure. With Forest's previous €30m bid rejected in January due to Jesus' desire to play in the Club World Cup, Wolfie assesses if the €20m fee represents a bargain or a risk given his lack of European experience. What do YOU think about this potential signing? Can Igor Jesus fire Forest to success in the Conference League, or should they be wary of his hesitation and Arsenal's interest? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let Wolfie and the Forest Fan TV community know if you're excited about this Brazilian striker joining the Reds or if Forest should look elsewhere. #nffc #botafogo #premierleague Learn more about your ad choices.
