Describe the game in two words: Zappe hour. Backup-turned-starter Bailey Zappe gave the Patriots their best quarterback play of the season, becoming the first New England player to throw for three touchdowns in a first half since Tom Brady in 2018. BAILEY ZAPPE TO HUNTER HENRY = TB12 TO GRONK VS STEELERS! W14 NFL TNF 2023 BAILEY ZAPPE TO HUNTER HENRY = TB12 TO GRONK VS STEELERS! W14 NFL TNF 2023 BAILEY ZAPPE TO HUNTER HENRY = TB12 TO GRONK VS STEELERS! W14 NFL TNF 2023 Pivotal play: Zappe's 37-yard pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster on the third offensive snap. It was the Patriots' first completion of 30-plus air yards on the season, as they were 0-for-18 on those throws entering the night, and it reflected their willingness to attack down the field. Buying a breakout performance, Part I: Tight end Hunter Henry scored two touchdowns on his 29th birthday. The captain has been a standup presence throughout a challenging season for the team and this was a just reward for him. He became the first Patriot to score a touchdown on his birthday since running back Dion Lewis on Sept. 27, 2015 (who did so on his 25th birthday). Henry became the fifth player over the past 30 seasons with two receiving touchdowns on his birthday, joining DeVonta Smith (2021 vs. Broncos), Jimmy Graham (2014 vs. Ravens), Terrell Owens (2003 vs. Cardinals) and Isaac Bruce (2002 vs. Chargers). Troubling trend: The Patriots entered the night with the No. 2 draft position behind the Bears (from Carolina), but with a win to improve to 3-10, they are now tied with the Cardinals. Buying a breakout performance, Part II: Veteran running back Ezekiel Elliott was a workhorse, starting in place of the injured Rhamondre Stevenson. He hardly came off the field, was a dual threat as a rusher and pass-catcher, and had a terrific hustle play to record a tackle on a Zappe interception. -- Mike Reiss Next game: vs. Chiefs (1 p.m. ET, Sunday, Dec. 17) via @espn @GmiasWorld Social: Twitch-http://twitch.tv/GmiasWorld Facebook-http://www.facebook.com/GmiasWorld X-https://www.twitter.com/GmiasWorld Donate:https://streamlabs.com/gmiasworld Instagram-https://www.instagram.com/GmiasWorld GmiasWorld Merch: https://gmiasworld.myspreadshop.com Background Music (Exclusive) by @ZaneAlexanderNC #MADDEN24 #MADDEN24ULTIMATETEAM #GMIASWORLD

If Rob Saleh gets fired, which we don't see happening, Nathaniel Hackett is getting that job because Aaron Rodgers is still here. A caller wonders why the Jets don't copy great plays from other teams, considering the NFL is a copy-cat league. A caller wonders why teams make rookie QBs captains as soon as they get on the team. Jerry returns for an update and starts with John Harbaugh defending his brother Jim and his scandal at Michigan. Boomer wonders how you can be suspended twice in the same year like Jim Harbaugh has. Gronk said Mac Jones is not being respected in New England. He said Mac Jones should ask for his release. Stephen A. Smith talked about using music properly when you're lovemaking. Gio said he has clearly had it with talking about sports. In the final segment of the hour, the Kelly Oubre Jr story is getting weird. Police say there is no evidence he was involved in a hit and run. A doorbell camera shows him coming home and saying he was hit by a car. What else could have happened to him? Was he beat up for some reason?
Hour 1 Yesterday Rob Saleh said that if Aaron Rodgers said he's ready to play, he is going to play him. Boomer thinks this is out there to keep the Jets players engaged as they probably don't believe in Zach Wilson. Boomer said Rodgers going from the therapy tub to an NFL game is not realistic. Gio said Saleh proves every day that he's not in charge. Aaron Rodgers is. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first Boomer has his stat pack concerning the Jets. Jerry has the audio of Saleh saying if Aaron wants to play he's going to play. Brian Daboll is giving Tommy DeVito another start. Kyle Brandt was on Wheel of Fortune and told Vanna White she was the puzzle he wanted to solve. The Knicks beat the Hawks 116-114. Stephen A. Smith said to just eat a salad before making love. He also talked about the importance of music during lovemaking. Gerrit Cole won his first Cy Young award and Blake Snell won it in the N.L. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer seems excited that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's parents are meeting at this week's Chiefs/Eagles game. Peter Schwartz put out the Bat Signal, just begging for Boomer to get involved in his purchase of a car. Hour 2 If Rob Saleh gets fired, which we don't see happening, Nathaniel Hackett is getting that job because Aaron Rodgers is still here. Hour 3 Sunday at 1pm is definitely a Red Zone situation because who in the world is interested in Giants/Commanders? For some reason people think Boomer hates the Giants. He doesn't. If Tommy DeVito plays well it could be fun, but if the Giants keep going 3 and out it's going to get old quickly. Boomer said the Bills schedule gets difficult after the Jets this weekend. They have Eagles, KC and Cowboys. Andrea the Sports Astrologer calls in with some Aaron Rodgers information. Jerry is here for another update and starts with Lamar Jackson talking about tonight's matchup against the Bengals. Zach Wilson said ‘we need to be better, more'. Mike McDaniel feels good about rain and hydration. Mark Jackson took to instagram to say the lies have got to stop about him and the Knicks. Ron Washington will not back down as Angels manager. We still have not had a reporter ask Bill Belichick about the ring doorbell video of him doing the walk of shame. In the final segment of the hour, the Yankees and Mets are going to be going after the same players. Gio thought there would be bidding wars between the two teams but we haven't seen it yet and probably won't see it. Hour 4 The Bengals social media team had a video of the team getting off the bus in Baltimore. It showed Joe Burrow had a brace on his throwing hand. The video was then deleted. The Bengals cannot blow this season and that starts with beating the Ravens tonight. Tee Higgins is out again for the Bengals. Boomer said whoever wins this game tonight will be the favorite to win the division. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and plays the emotional Michigan coach from Saturday where he's dropping curses left and right. John Harbaugh is impressed the way his brother Jim has been handling the situation at Michigan. Charissa Thompson was on PMT and said she used to make up sideline reports. The Knicks beat the Hawks last night. Gerrit Cole won his first Cy Young Award. The Moment of The Day: Stephen A. Smith talks about the dangers of eating before lovemaking. In the final segment of the show, Sal Licata is putting together a WFAN night at UBS arena in the Islanders' owner's box. Gio said there are some desperation spots in the NFL this week. Boomer is throwing some games out there that he thinks are desperation spots but they're not. Speaking of desperate teams, we looked ahead to the next few weeks of Jets games. Where can the Jets get 4 more wins? Aaron Rodgers was asked why, if the Jets and Giants both suck, do people just focus on the Jets? Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio of Aaron Rodgers talking about ‘Giants propaganda'. It was a joke. We talked about Al's colonoscopy where they pulled ‘8 polyps out of my butt'. Shannon Sharpe told a story about getting a dog from another country and all that went into it. The dog cost $10K. Gronk can't believe Josh McDaniels is still getting paid for years after being fired from the Raiders. Steve Kerr defended Draymond Green putting Rudy Gobert in a headlock. In the final segment of the hour, Padres owner Peter Seidler passed away. He was very philanthropic in the San Diego area. Boomer wonders if that means Juan Soto is more likely to be traded now. Breaking news as Deshaun Watson's season is over as he needs shoulder surgery on his throwing shoulder.
Hour 1 The Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, right before they play the Jets this week. Rumors continue to swirl around Bill Belichick and his future with the Patriots. The Jets called a players only meeting which Boomer said should have happened a few weeks ago. Giancarlo Stanton's agent is mad at Brian Cashman for saying Stanton will probably get hurt next year since he's hurt every year. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and we talked about which offensive player on the Jets most likely led the meeting. Aaron Rodgers was on with McAfee and talked about being full time back with the Jets ‘real soon'. RB Michael Carter was released by the Jets. Sean McDermott talked about firing Ken Dorsey. Carlos Mendoza met the media and told us what to expect with him as Mets manager. Does he know who Gary, Keith and Ron are? Gio said he's been told that those guys never come down to talk to the players and someone in the organization fed Mendoza that line. There was a scuffle in the Timberwolves and Warriors game where Draymond Green put Rudy Gobert in a headlock. In the final segment of the hour, Gio said when you go out with couples the guys talk to the guys and the women talk to the women. He thinks the guys should go out one place and the women another place and meet up at the end of the night. Hour 2 Gio doesn't like when people beat around the bush without giving any information out. Dan Orlovsky said he heard Bill Belichick already has determined where he is going after the Patriots but Dan won't say where that is. If you bring Bill Belichick in, you better make sure he has Josh McDaniels and a really good quarterback. What if Belichick wanted to come to the Giants? Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from Carlos Mendoza's press conference. He talked about being criticized by fans and wanting to have ‘deep conversations' with Gary, Keith and Ron. Giancarlo Stanton's agent does not like the new, fired up Brian Cashman. Aaron Rodgers talked about being a believer in the Jets offensive scheme. Ochocinco said he did take Viagra before games to help his performance. There was a fight between the Timberwolves and Warriors in which Draymond Green put Rudy Gobert in a headlock. In the final segment of the hour, former NHL player Adam Johnson died after getting his neck slashed in a hockey game. A man was arrested in connection to the death but the news has not said who that person is. It seems likely Matt Petgrave, the guy who's skate it was, is the guy that was arrested. Hour 3 Gio said there are some desperation spots in the NFL this week. Boomer is throwing some games out there that he thinks are desperation spots but they're not. Speaking of desperate teams, we looked ahead to the next few weeks of Jets games. Where can the Jets get 4 more wins? In the final segment of the hour, Padres owner Peter Seidler passed away. He was very philanthropic in the San Diego area. Boomer wonders if that means Juan Soto is more likely to be traded now. Breaking news as Deshaun Watson's season is over as he needs shoulder surgery on his throwing shoulder. Hour 4 Everybody loves the Josh Dobbs story but Gio wonders if the Vikings can really keep it up. A caller doesn't like that the Niners get extra draft picks for hiring minority coaches. Boomer is sick of being divided by race. The current minority coaches in the NFL all got their jobs based on merit. We took calls on minority coaches in the NFL. Jerry is here for his final update of the morning but first Gio tells us he's watching guys playing golf on YouTube a lot lately. Aaron Rodgers was asked why the talk is always the Jets suck when the Giants suck too. Sean McDermott talked about firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Marc Malusis got to ask a question to Carlos Mendoza. Gio wonders why Malusis is selling a vacuum on Facebook marketplace. The Moment of The Day involves Bernie Sanders breaking up an almost fight in Congress. In the final segment of the show, we talked about Carlos Mendoza's press conference from yesterday. Gio was encouraged by what he heard but is not going overboard about it. Boomer said he looks like a guy that could be in charge. He didn't make any ridiculous promises. Marc Malusis called in to talk to us about selling his vacuum on Facebook Marketplace.
We welcome back one of our regulars, Dr. John Jennings, to talk about forearm fractures, the injury sustained by Philadelphia Eagle tight end, Dallas Goedert. Estimated down time seems surprisingly short. That approach did not work out well for Gronk... Is it the best idea? What she we expect for this critical player on the best team in football?

Well, don't look now but one Rob Grownkowski goes to bat for Lamar, and he's as entertaining as ever. Meanwhile, is this the most talented Ravens team that Lamar Jackson has ever had? That debate continues from a national perspective. On this edition of the Vault, Sarah & Bobby dive into that along with the following: Todd Monken talks Keaton Mitchell + future role Browns DC downplays Lamar Jackson's Wk2 "Defining moments" on deck for Deshaun Watson? The Ducks are playing the best football in the Pac-12 and throttled California in Eugene, Utah bounced back from their rough week by dismantling Arizona State, the Wildcats suffocated UCLA in Tucson with Gronk cheering U of A on, Colorado's offense didn't improve with a coordinator change and Oregon State held on for a win in Boulder and Stanford goes to Pullman and squeaked out a win against a struggling WSU squad.
