There's nothing worse than the crushing feeling of having too much to do and not enough time do it.Anyone trying to get things done knows the unrelenting dread of always feeling like there's something to do--even if you don't know exactly what it is you need to get done. This overwhelm can rob your motivation to do meaningful work. But in this episode, we tell you how to develop supreme efficiency and world class effectiveness to get control of your time.In this episode you will learn:-Why it's important to set a goal for what you want to achieve. Even if the goal is a small one, Without a target to aim for, you won't know if your efforts are successful. If you don't know where you're going, you won't know if you're heading in the right direction.-Why discomfort is necessary. You've been doing things a certain way and they've gotten you a certain result. You want a new result and that means a new set of activities. You'll have to break out of homeostasis. Getting uncomfortable accomplishes this. We tell you specifically what works for us.-No one has problems at the start of a long race. No one has problems at the end. It's the long middle, far from either, where you lose sight of why you're doing it. This is because you've lost your frame of reference. By taking a moment to celebrate your accomplishments, you reset your "start" point and give yourself new energy to push forward.-Finally, you can't be on all the time. You gotta learn to relax and enjoy yourself. The power of this can not be understated. Why work so hard if you aren't willing to relax and enjoy yourself? These are the main points but there is so much more. Give the show a listen, and if you love it, make sure you subscribe!
