Send us a textIn this episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we explore the quiet but powerful force that keeps so many practitioners stuck: the belief that because you've already invested so much—in time, money, or identity—you have to keep going, even when it no longer fits. From careers to relationships to business models, we talk about the fear of quitting, the discomfort of change, and how false safety in the familiar can cost far more than walking away. If you've ever felt torn between staying the course and honoring what you truly want now, this episode is for you.If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/fed and set up an Introductory Chat.
Send us a textIn this episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we explore the entrepreneurial trap of trying to do everything at once. Whether it's launching an online business, managing multiple income streams, or posting across every social platform, spreading yourself too thin leads to overwhelm and stalled momentum. We unpack why consistency beats intensity every time, and how going all in on just one thing is the fastest path to results, growth, and eventual expansion. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/fed and set up an Introductory Chat.

Send us a textIn this episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we take a hard look at the difference between owning a business and actually thinking like an entrepreneur. If you're still pricing your services based on “going rates” or allowing patients to dictate their treatment plans, you may be stuck in an employee mindset—one that limits your income, freedom, and impact. We explore what it really means to step into an entrepreneurial identity, how to shift from fee-for-service thinking to outcome-based offers, and why the value you create—not your hours—is what truly determines your worth. If your business is running you instead of the other way around, this episode is the wake-up call you need.If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/fed and set up an Introductory Chat.
Send us a textIn this episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we explore why relying on external pressure or accountability won't create lasting success in your business. Drawing from personal stories about overcoming health challenges and lessons from building discipline, we dive into why true growth requires cultivating internal motivation—not depending on urgency, fear, or someone else telling you what to do. Building your business from a place of self-discipline and personal drive not only leads to greater success but also makes the journey more creative, fulfilling, and sustainable. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/fed and set up an Introductory Chat.
Send us a textIn this 100th episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we mark a milestone by reflecting on something most practitioners overlook: the importance of celebrating your wins. Whether it's a patient breakthrough or simply showing up with courage, these wins aren't just feel-good moments—they're essential data points that reveal what's working in your business and help you make better decisions. We also announce the rebrand of Living Practice Coaching to Free + Easy Doctor, now focused on the three biggest struggles practitioners face: time, money, and courage. This episode is both a celebration and a call to build the internal muscle that allows you to recognize your impact, own your growth, and move forward with clarity. If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/fed and set up an Introductory Chat.
Send us a textIn this episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we confront the reality of practicing in uncertain times and how to ensure your services aren't seen as expendable. While some practitioners blame patient drop-offs on the economy, the truth is often in how your services are positioned and perceived. Patients will cut what feels optional—but not what delivers meaningful outcomes. If you want your business to thrive when others are shrinking, you must clarify the transformation you offer, not just the modality you use. This is the time to sharpen your messaging, own your value, and commit to outcomes over services. Uncertain times call for certainty in yourself, and that clarity starts with you.If this content and material resonates with you and you would like to pursue 1:1 coaching with Rebecca, please visit:tcm-hub.com/livingpractice and set up an Introductory Chat.

Send us a textIn this episode we explore when coaching is most valuable in your business journey. While coaching can benefit you at any stage, it's especially crucial during the growing and scaling phases—those periods when you're facing the most uncertainty, making big decisions, and stepping into a new version of yourself. We break down the three phases of business: growing, coasting, and scaling, and examine how most practitioners get stuck in constant growth mode without a clear strategy or vision. We discuss how burnout, fear, and indecision keep you operating below your full potential and why investing in your nervous system is essential for long-term success. Send us a textIn this episode of Better Skills. Better Doctors., we tackle the challenge of managing your energy as a practitioner, especially when dealing with emotionally intense patients. I share a conversation with a mentee who struggled with carrying a patient's anxiety long after their appointment, as well as my own past experiences with difficult patients. We discuss how to protect your energy by setting boundaries, shifting your mindset from "fixing" to "guiding," and practicing compassion instead of irritation. Avoiding energy-draining situations isn't the solution—learning how to manage your mind and emotions is. Send us a textToday we're going to talk about something that comes up for so many of you: discounting your services. As a practitioner and a business owner, this is one of those sneaky habits that feels helpful and kind in the moment but ultimately works against you, your patients, and your business. The reason why this is such an important topic is because discounting creates confusion, resentment, and unnecessary drama in your life. Send us a textIt's a common belief among people with children who are building a business, or want to build a business, that they are at a disadvantage. Send us a textI'm turning 47 this week. And in celebration of my birthday I wanted to do an episode on age and possibility. I thought it was important to do an episode on this because the vast majority of people in this profession are women. And a high number of you entered this profession as a second career, later in life, or you started a family that delayed things a bit.And so for many of you listening you may have had thoughts making you think that your time is ticking to get your business off the ground and you have a lot of catching up to do.If this sounds familiar then this episode is for you. Send us a textToday's episode is a little bit outside of the usual business and entrepreneurship talk. Today I talk about finding your purpose.People want to go through their lives with a purpose. It gives people the sense that what they are doing is toward something worthwhile. They want to feel selfless and like they are making an impact and a contribution to the world. Ironically, the search for purpose actually brings a lot of stress and pain to many people. If this is you I have a different approach to finding your purpose. Send us a textI talk a lot about pushing yourself and doing things even when you don't feel like it. Getting to a place in your business where you start feeling discomfort and pushing through anyway and taking action even when you're not at your best. I realize that people may hear this and think that I'm promoting Hustle Culture, which is NOT the case at all. Success is NOT an either/or choice between your personal life and your dreams! Send us a textA lot of what I talk about is taking action and the thoughts you need, the mental strength, and the emotional fuel needed to take massive action. Taking massive action is how we evolve and move forward. I don't spend as much time talking about the other side and that's inaction. I'm usually trying to inspire people to take massive action, but talking about inaction is just as important because that's the place where most people live. The land of inaction and indecision. If you find yourself saying "Next time...", "Not now...", or "I can't afford it." a lot then this episode is for you. Send us a Text Message.Next to money, time seems to be a big source of people's problems. Like with money, the biggest complaint is that there's never enough. Never enough time to do everything you need to do. Let alone want to do. Usually people tend to prioritize the things they need to do first and then once those are all out of the way then they will do the things they want to do. And this is usually phrased by saying: I'll do that when I find the time." But that time never comes. If you struggle with having enough time or never-ending to-do lists this episode is for you. Send us a Text Message. When people become dissatisfied or stuck in a situation, such as an employment position, a relationship, their practice, etc. very often the first thing they do is try to change things up. Such as: learn a new modality, change their fee structure, add more tx rooms, see more pts, hire a business coach to learn new systems, implement new software, hire employees or contractors, move to a new location. Or they move the goal post. They will hit their goal, but then it isn't enough anymore. So they move it out further again and again. If it's a relationship, they end it and look for another one… And by making these changes they feel some relief and excitement again. But after some time they are back to feeling dissatisfied and again, looking for the next new thing.
