Hello Everyone, Welcome to another episode of Boosh's Modern Life.  This week we discuss the finer points of becoming a spy during the greatest time to be a spy, that slap happy era of the Cold War. So come along with us as we make sure to enroll Brett in some hardcore ballet, JD gets some laser pen training, and Jay becomes the Dame Judy Dench in this weeks episode!

We also discuss how were going to be changing a few other things around here this week. Like JD doesnt get to make stalagtites during show hours anymore, and Brett is now legally changing his name to Brent! This week on Boosh's modern life everything changes!   We talk about the upcoming changes to the shows format that were sure you will all love!   Or hate, cause no one likes changes and its scary, but trust this time its for the best!   so tune in and find out through just using your old fashioned ears how things are going down going forward on the BML!

We watched Lawrence do his damn finest, which is almost anything he does, but particularily this week. Because it was for us and he know whats up.   Also we learn all the ways Brett now avoids damaging he new and fragile body.   Jay I think yells at his laundry and for a while is just wandering the streets with his mic on, so you get a glimpse of life on the streets of Airdrie. Straight gansta style   JD were still not sure if his mic is loud or quiet but we are sure no one cares either way.

I (which here means Jonathon Swayze) feel like I can write whatever I want in these descriptions. There is no way anyone takes the time to actually read all of these great quips I throw in these descriptions, so Im gonna say what I want! Burglecut Turharskyborgining Droned congratulations you lucky bleeder you've won a pumpkin for making it this far   Disclaimer; No actual pumpkins will be given out for any reason. You can if you wish contact Brett with your complaints and maybe if your lucky you will catch him on one of his more whimsical days and he will mail you a pumpkin. Thought they are out of season right now and I have no idea where he would get said pumpkin, unless he secretly farms them in his home. Which I would not be surprised to find out that he did in fact do just that. Also hes never going to read this, so this secret is between me and you Elanor my sweet. It has been nearly a fortnight since last we spoke. I miss you dearly and so do the children, come home Elanor, come home!

This not the greatest episode in the world, no this is just a tribute.  Once in a thousand generations there comes together such a cavalcade of hilarity that even the mighty God's must step in to stop it. It just so happens that the actual episode 52 was that show, and in retrospect it doesnt help that it was kind of blasphemous.  So we are left with the ashes of that episode and from it rose the phoenix of mediocrity that is Episode 52B.  I mean if actual episode 52 was never made this episode would be just fine by comparison, but now I have to compare fine elder berry wine to this week old strawberry shiraz.  In either case you wont now the difference, so Ill stop whinging about it and just move on! This week on a very new episode of Bruce's Modern Life, We decided to go public with our corpperate interests and as soon as our hot stock hit the markets one of our patreoners bought up all our options in the single fastest hostile take over ever seen. With his new tyrannical grip on our show he was able to not only change the name of show to better reflect his glory, but was also able to completely take over the new episode.  So this week we Talk Bruce, why hes great. Why you should try and be more like Bruce. Bruce's favorite kitchen utensils. How to Bruce up your house for Spring. Story time with Bruce, and you guessed it Bruising the Bruce an autobiography of his rise to fame and fortune as narrated by Bruce! And to think he did all this for as little as a dollar month. Shrewd and cunning, maybe someday soon someone else will buy us, but for now all hail the Bruce!

We made it to 50 episodes, that means we have almost uploaded a years worth of shows.  Thats right we made it a year without killing each other, harming the ozone, or getting caught up in a frivolous law suit! Thats really saying something, you know what I mean if you have been listening to any of our content up until now.  I mean really, surely JD should have been attacked by some sort of social equality group by now. Brett should very well have at least been fined for his flagrant beastiality with canines. Dont even get me started on Jay. Well tune in this week and see what we get can get away with this time!  

As always we manage to answer lifes toughest questions on this week's episode. JD has us all wondering what's it? Brett loves him some of our times greatest music, and boy does he want you to know about! Jay showed up, said something about hating something, then something about loving something and asked how open minded Brett and JD are. Which somehow lead to Jay volunteering to watch Guardians on repeat for 24 hours straight. Come on social media let's make it happen!

Im not sure how the phrase "do you even Crow Bro?" never became a thing in the 90's. I mean its all right there, everything you could ever need from a catchy phrase to entice people into loving everything about you. As you might have guessed this week we watched Hook, Speilburgs greatest cinematic master piece. Well according to JD anyway, but that guy is never right about literally anything, so take this for what you will. (he he writes these witty little quips so suck an egg Brett and Jay, Ill say whatever I want and you cant stop my drunken Uncle rants!) Also we listened to the best of the best Canadian Folk music that you would never actively search out your self, but that will make you slip into a comfortable nostalgia comma and never let you go. Seriously its the best music we never want to hear again ever, so figure that out. Also JD was on topic this week, he drops the ball and flounders. Come and point and laugh at him as he tries to recover, it is deserved you dont have to feel bad about it. Bye!
