There are over 8000 academic journals in the world yet most of the leading journals in all fields routinely have rejection rates of eighty, ninety, ninety-five percent or higher. To combat this problem, more than 40 editors from Elsevier's broad array of journals have come together to develop a seminar on 'How to Write a World-Class Paper'. Using their collective experience of over 400 years, these editors have put together an illustrative presentation highlighting the do's and don'ts for preparing better manuscripts and significantly increasing the likelihood of acceptance.
