A crazy week for a crazy year. We'll dive into all of it. Jamal Murray lives to tell about another game 7. UK Football has a scrimmage in the books. St. Thomas Aquinas College head coach Tobin Anderson joins us at 6:30! Gonna be fun!

Friend of the show DeWayne Peevy is headed to Chi-town to run DePaul's athletic department. We've gotten pulled into a little trash talk with South Carolina fans/media. The NBA pauses things for tonight. Kalen Harris, host of the Kat Scan Pod, joins us at 7:30!

We'll break down the schedule starting with the Cats opening the season down in Auburn. Dame is doing Dame things at the Lakers expense. Coach Bu and Coach Truck of Big Things Kentucky will join us at 7:00!

Western Kentucky and Rick Stansbury and 'nem if nothing else are persistent. They are trying their best get a game(s) with the Cats. Cam Newton is off the market, Patrick Mahones is off of that rookie deal. We'll talk about that and a whole lot more tonight!

Matthew Mitchell is on the mend, Bobby Bonilla once again has more to spend. TB gains another famous friend!

Kentucky football tweaks the season opener. The Rona never left. Will sports get off the ground? What's Rob Manfred doin? John Dixon of Arrowhead Pride will join us to talk some KC Chiefs.

The date is in place for SEC athletes to return to campus for voluntary workouts. Hope it all goes smoothly. Kentucky lost a former coach in Eddie Sutton. Chris Oats is on everyone's minds too at this time.

Tough times for the Kentucky Cheerleading program. DeAndre Williams has Memphis and Penny poppin off again. The ladies of the Hungry In Podcast will join us to talk some food and UK sports!

For everyone that was worrying they can now relax. Olivier Sarr made it official, he's transferring from Wake Forest to Kentucky. Just like that the roster looks a lot better. TB has been busy in quarantine, been running, doing podcasts and all kinds of things. We'll talk about all of that, The Last Dance, our appearance on The Locker and much more!

In a "down year" from their 2018 10-win season Kentucky still saw five players move on to the NFL. It will be fun to see how their careers play out. Whenever play resumes the talent that will be heading to the next level from Lexington will continually to be consistently impressive. The Last Dance got juicy when all of the old layers to the Bulls-Pistons beef were peeled back once again. Thankfully this documentary is providing a nice small distraction each weekend. We'll talk about all of that and more this evening!

We're back for another fun 2 hours. Still hunkerin' down. Still watching to see how things play out. Rhyne Howard finally gets a little bit of love. Jacob Toppin is offically a Wildcat. Condolonces to Karl Anthony Towns and his family on the passing of his mother, Jacqueline Cruz, who passed away due to complications from the coronavirus. It's official. Ashton, Immauel, Nick, Tyrese and EJ are all going to the draft. Cal will really get to work his magic. There's already a strong freshman class coming in and Davion Mintz has been added as a grad transfer. We'll see what other moves take place between now and whenever seasons/games resume. Austin MacGinnis has made his way onto an NFL roster, Cal has a coffee show and more!

Tyrese Maxey and Ashton Hagans have shifted their focus to the NBA Draft. What will Nick Richards, Immanuel Quickley and E.J. Montgomery decide to do. We'll know in the coming days. Keion Brooks has decided to return for a second season at Kentucky. Purdue big man Matt Haarms has put his name in the transfer portal and the Cats are among several schools interested in adding him to their roster. Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio will join us at 6:30 to talk about all of that and more as well as the incoming recruits. We'll have fun like we always do. Hope y'all enjoy the show.

We're still doing our best to stay cautious and healthy. Normal and even a new normal are still quite a ways away. The Kentucky bsaketball roster is sorting itself out. There was even a turn that is somewhat surprising to some. There's still a lot to wrap our heads around potentially regarding football. There are different things to process as each portion of the year rolls around on the calendar and all of the usual activities that occur at that point aren't able to be participated in. All of the coping mechanisims are in effect. March is marching on without Madness and that will continue to be the theme of this spring. We'll talk about all the goings on of life in a sportsless world as well as the nuggets of news that have occurred since we were on last. Last week when we were talking with ESPN's Michael Eaves there were still conference tournaments and an NBA season to speak of. Things have changed quickly since then. There are no sports going on and won't be any for quite some time due to COVID19 and rightfully so. Hopefully all of you listening are doing well. We're still going to do our best to have fun each week for a couple of hours and we hope y'all will have fun with us. We'll talk about the sports things that have happened but as y'all already know we work in other topics as well and that's what we'll do. We have two amazing guests on this evening to chat with. We can't wait to talk about the Cats come from behind win over Florida. But we'll have to talk about all of the #COVID19 news that continues to break. We will definitely get to the SEC Tournament (tonight's games at least) and all of the recognition that Kentucky received individually for their regular season.  The NBA is heating up too and a Lakers-Clippers playoff series one of these days will be a lot of fun. Kentucky appeared focused and determined not to let the SEC title clinching win over Auburn affect their edge in the first half against Tennessee. Unfortunately there was a second half that had to be played and the lead they built and relinquished didn't end in a win as it normally did during their string of W's. There's chemistry questions and a few concerns because now the calendar has flipped to March. Is it a crossroads for the Cats or just a mere bump in the road. We'll talk about it all. Plus Michael Bennett, host of Just The Cats, will join us at 7:00.

Texas A & M kept leaving Immanuel Quickley open  . . . so he kept dropping threes on them. Kentucky didn't allow the whole A & M trap game vibe trip them up at all. They took care of business and can now focus fully on trying to exact revenge on Auburn this weekend. They are another step closer to securing the SEC regular season title outright. We'll also have friend of the show and former EKU linebacker Charles Tinsley and his son, current Colonels WR Clay, on to talk about their legacy and memories of the recruiting process.

Kentucky did their road warrior thing once again and defeated a talented LSU team that was hungry for a win to get themselves out of the funk that they've been in. Nate Sestina did what he and everyone in BBN envisioned that he would do when he arrived at UK. Good to see him put together a solid game. Big Blue Nation exhaled Friday evening when Vince Marrow decided that he was staying put and turning down his other friend Mel Tucker and Michigan State.  The NBA All Star Game was dope, that is all. Tonight we'll look back at the Kentucky Wildcats wins over the Tennessee Volunteers and Vanderbilt Commodores. It had been a while since that had happened. Hagans was back to his old self. Up next is a home Saturday (finally) date with the Ole Miss Rebels at Rupp Arena at 2:00.  Big Blue Nation is holding its collective breath once again. The Big Dog is on someone else's radar. This time it's Michigan State. He turned down his hometown Youngstown State to stay in Lexington. Now Mel Tucker and Michigan State are zeroing in on him and the suspense is real once again. Plus NBA All Star/trade talk and whatever MLB is trying to think about doing.

EJ Montgomery finally showed more than the occasional flash last night against Mississippi State. He played aggressive and got a lil mean and put together arguably his most complete game ever in a Kentucky uniform as the Cats bounced back from their loss at Auburn and got back on the winning track. Now he'll look to find some consistency and build on last night's foundation. There were some big trades in MLB and the NBA yesterday, gotta talk about that. Vince Marrow is not ready to go home again. Will Sparty try to come after Stoops? We'll recap Super Bowl LIV and be joined by out guest and former host of Sunday AM Sports Talk, Mark Buerger!

It's another Wednesday game evening for the Kentucky Wildcats as they look to keep the winning ways going when they host the Vanderbilt Commodores at Rupp Arena at 6:30. Can EJ flip the switch in the game like he's been doing in practice of late? We'll also talk about the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gigi and the seven others in Sunday's helicopter crash. The L.A. area, the nation and the world are still attempting to process the news. We'll start the show off by talking with Kentucky, ABA and NBA legend Dan Issel. Tonight we'll flip the script a bit and talk lots of NFC Championship game as TB's San Francisco 49ers made it to the NFL Final Four and defeated the Green Bay Packers to move on and face the Kansa Cithy Chiefs in Miami in Super Bowl 54. We'll also talk about Kentucky bouncing back to take care of Arkansas and Georgia and now prepping to face Texas Tech in Lubbock. It's been a while, but we have a show and a UK basketball game rollin' together. Terry and Vinny will talk lots of Cats and Gamecocks as Kentucky faces South Carolina down in Columbia. They're looking to get another road W in the SEC and then cap the week with another one against Arkansas this weekend. We'll also look back at the CFB Playoff and LSU's win over Clemson and look ahead to Championship Sunday. Cheifs-Titans, 49ers-Packers? Who y'all got? Plus some crazy MLB news.

Scouts and celebs and everyone else were all in Athens last night to see Tyrese Maxey, Anthony Edwards and everyone else on the floor last night. We'll look back at Kentucky's strong second half come from behind win over Georgia on the road. The NFL Playoffs are heating up as now there only 8 teams standing. Off the field the coaching searches are being completed by the non playoff squads. LSU vs Clemson, Tigers vs Tigers takes place on Monday night as the SEC looks to go 8-2 in the bowl season. No guests this evening, even more opportunities for y'all to call in.

Vinny and Terry recap the Louisville/Kentucky Dream Game, the Wildcats' Belk Bowl win, review 2019 and the decade that was and look ahead to 2020. Randy Newman of Big Blue Express stops by to talk Cats as well.

Stoops and Big Dawg Marrow and the rest of the Kentucky football coaching staff were at it again. They've brought in another solid class, possibly top 20, and the caliber of players are improving. If you thought the Cats were about to become less physical you thought wrong. They stocked up in the trenches once again. The early morning activity of National Signing Day will transition into late night Vegas hoops on the hardwood as the Cats face familier out of conference foe Utah. It is literally an around the clock day for UK Athletics. And we'll be joined by former UK WR David Bouvier to talk about a lot of it at 6:15!

Early this morning Lynn Bowden got some much deserved recognition in the form of the Paul Hornung Award. He was versatility personified this season. After much ado, Kentucky will be heading to Charlotte for the Belk Bowl to face Virginia Tech. The basketball Cats face a bigger name opponent this weekend. The volleyball squad is looking to move on deeper into the NCAA tournament. The women's basketball team is getting ready for Louisville in Rupp this weekend. Besides that, there's nothing much going on. We'll be joined by former Cats Van Hiles and Anthony White to talk about Lynn Bowden, the season and much more. Tyler Barnett will stop by at 7:30 to talk 16th Region sports etc.

Kentucky made quick work of the improved Louisville Cardinals. After giving them life right before the half, the Cats extiguished it easily in the third quarter. Lynn Bowden forged his way into the record book for rushing yards by an SEC QB.  Everyone knows what's coming and defenses still can't slow him down, much less stop him. He had one of the greatest seasons a UK football player has ever had.  We'll talk about all of that and some hoops and NFL and more. Jason Hazelrigg of UK Fans All Day will also stop by at 6:30

.Just when BBN was finally ready to get a good read on the squad at full stregnth the news came out this morning that NateSestina was going to be lost for four weeks due to a wrist injury. Hate to hear that for the young fella. The rest of the guys will have to hold it down while he's out. It's Louisville week, as the Cards head to Kroger Field Saturday afternoon. We'll dive into that from a parent's perspective right off of the bat with Chris Rodriguez Sr, the fourth football dad we've had on the show. Kentucky evened their record up again at 5-5 after grounding and pounding Vanderbilt in Nashville Saturday afternoon. They now finish the regular season at home with UT-Martin and Louisville and hope to become bowl eligible and improve their bowl status in that order. On the court Mark Madsen and Utah Valley put a scare into the Cats before succumbing 82-74. The Cats depleted roster and Nick Richards were the story.  We'll also talk NBA and NFL. At 6:30 Anthony Cervino will join us to talk some fantasy football

The Tennessee game Saturday night at Kroger Field, the Evansville game last night at Rupp Arena and Vinny's Cowboys and TB's 49ers mixed in with all of that and it's been a rough few days sports wise for the both of us. The Champions Classic in New York City on November 5 seemed so far away and now just like that it's come and gone. And just like that Kentucky knocked Michigan State out of the top spot and will be the new #1 team in the nation when the poll is released on Monday.  Tyrese Maxey made Madison Square Garden his own personal stage as he made big shots and grabbed big rebounds down the stretch. Lynn Bowden did his thing in the rain once again as he ran all over Mizzou to the tune of 204 yards and Player of the Week honors in the SEC. Max Duffy and Calvin Taylor joined him this week as well. Now it's on to another bye week before the Tennessee Volunteers come to town. We're six days away from the first game that counts when the Cats take on Michigan State in NYC. There will be a Game 7 in the World Series plus all the happenings in the NBA and NFL!

The Kentucky Wildcats move on from the monsoon in Athens to potentially another downpour Saturday night when they play host to the Missour Tigers. We'll look back at the Blue White game and the first game against someone else when the Cats host Georgetown College Sunday evening. We'll look at game 2 of the World Series, the NBA opening night, NFL and more. In hour 2 Josh Hurt, Bryant Stockton and Gunnar Word of The KY Sports Guys will stop by. Gonna be a lotta fun!

Gonna be a fun one tonight. TB was at both Big Blue Madness and the Kentucky Wildcats come from behind victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Lynn Bowden showed that he was up to the challenge of being QB1 in place of an injured Sawyer Smith. What's next as the Cats head to Athens to face the Dawgs? Kentucky is still looking to get right after their loss at Mississippi State Saturday evening. They will head to Columbia looking to beat the South Carolina Gameocks for the sixth consecutive time. Sawyer Smith, Lynn Bowden, The passing game and kicking game was off and some points were left on the field. UK was also in the news for Title IX reasons, we'll talk about that and recap the NFL weekend too. Collyn Taylor of Gamecock Central will join us at 7:15 to preview South Carolina.

Kentucky had the Florida Gators on the ropes again in Kroger Field but let them slip out of Lexington with the win in heartbreaking fashion. Now they have to regroup and look for a W in Starkville against Mississippi State. We'll also talk some hoops as well. Lots of NFL news went down especially at the quarterback position around the league. At 6:30 Vashti Hurt of Carolina Blitz will stop by to talk some Carolina Panthers, Cam Newton, UNC and much more!

Kentucky moved to 2-0 on the young season but it wasn't without a punch in the gut. Terry Wilson's season came to and end due to a torn patellar tendon. BBN's heart goes out to him and hopes his recovery goes as smoothly as possible. Sawyer Smith takes the keys to the car in what has to be a bit of deja vu for him. He went through this scenario at Troy last season. We'll dive into all of that as well as some good news from the NCAA. Juan Portela led UK to victory over Florida in 1979, the former Cats QB will join us at 6:30.
