Hello! I’m Edwin Edebiri, the Chief Happiness Officer, but you can call me the CHO! Convos with the CHO is a show where you can hear from business leaders in the community on a variety of topics with a focus on happiness. In 2009 at the height of recession I went on the street to shift people’s mind from all the negatives to something positive. After interviewing over 1,000 people, I started the I Am Happy Project to help spread happiness. Through that journey, my work was recognized at the United Nations resulting in an invite to do a TEDx Talk. After years of research, I realized that for balance, we should look into creating and maintaining happiness in the workplace. The rise of COVID-19 was a reminder of feelings from 2009, but in particular this time I could see the struggles of the small business community. So we started an online networking with the first event in March 2020 to now over 50 events every week around the world. Through the course of this show, we will bring you intimate interviews, candid conversations, with interesting businesspeople. We will have guests ranging from small business owners to the CEOs of large corporations discussing how they cultivate cultures of happiness and the benefits that they’ve seen. Other segments will include: Ask the CHO, where I will respond to questions and comments submitted by listeners like you & Chamber Talk, where I talk to the CEOs of Chambers of Commerce. If you are interested in Business, Happiness & the intersection of both, there will be something in our show for you. Listen in, learn, enjoy and stay happy!
