This summer huge crowds gathered at Glastonbury Festival to sing along to a set of 'Assembly Bangers'; beloved songs from primary school. Musician and music teacher James B. Partridge led the field with classics including 'One More Step Along the World I Go', 'He's Got the Whole World in his Hands' and 'Lord of the Dance'. The popularity of these songs goes beyond music festivals, and this autumn in his Homecoming concert Mal Pope will include an 'Assembly Banger' slot with singer and songwriter Graham Kendrick, composer of 'Shine Jesus Shine'. The popularity of primary school songs has taken many by surprise and this week Azim Ahmed sets out to explore why so many people love singing tunes from their youth. Azim speaks to James B. Partridge who explains that he began recording ‘Assembly Bangers' during the Covid lockdown — and was astonished at how popular they became. Alongside his teaching commitments he's also planning a nationwide tour this Christmas. We'll visit the Freedom Festival in Carmarthen, an event run by the Diocese of St. David's, where the Crowfoot band performs an 'Assembly Banger' slot and we'll hear from the audience there. We'll speak to Mal Pope and Graham Kendrick about the importance of communal singing, and lastly we'll visit Clyro Church in Wales Primary School to find out which songs children love today and which ones could be the 'Assembly Bangers' of the future.
“This is Ground Zero for Agenda 2030 across the Globe. What is here Epitomizes what ALL Farmers are Facing, including the Highest Risk of Mankind's Food Security and Natural Solutions to Heal being Eradicated from God's Creation” Mere hours from the peaceful, 35-yr old multi-generational farm in British Columbia, a CHILD IS REPORTED MISSING and a community responds… Yet instead of mounting area-wide search efforts for the child… An estimated 140 RCMP vehicles, with an estimated 200+ armed RCMP agents, their Helicopters, Surveillance Units, Drones, a Mobile Command Unit including the RCMP Tactical Team (Emergency Response Unit deployed in acts of terrorism) convoyed 3 hours, descending upon Universal Ostrich Farms. What mission is more important than searching for a missing 5yr old boy? What warrants this over investigating and dismantling terrorist networks? Or stopping the flow of deadly fentanyl, drug trafficking or human smugglers? Even investigating crimes against humanity, or... Hunting down sexual predators? (By their very actions, words and deeds, to these members of the RCMP, it's more important to support a W.H.O. proclamation pushed by Canada's deep state and kill these birds...) Along a scenic highway inside the Rocky Mountain interior this week, dozens of law enforcement began terrorizing the Grandmother, her daughter Katie Pasitney, and co-owner David Belinski. The government agents swarmed the farm, locking down airspace and planting themselves firmly on private property setting up to eviscerate 400 healthy ostriches with 230 healthy days of herd immunity. The antibodies produced by the eggs of these very ostriches have been clinically proven across numerous studies from the USA to Kyoto University in Japan, to prevent or heal humans from various strains of flu, from COVID itself, plus provide a natural diet alternative to Big Pharma's Ozempic...and perhaps might potentially heal cancer.
All except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. — Acts 8:1 This week let's focus on another important mission word: intercultural. To be intercultural followers of Jesus means that we engage with people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds to join in God's mission to the whole world. If we look closely at the early church in the book of Acts, we can see this principle in action. Jesus spent most of his teaching ministry among his own (Jewish) people, but he gave many hints that the good news of the kingdom is intended for all nations. The focus of missions started in Jerusalem. And when believers in Christ were scattered because of persecution, they “preached the word wherever they went.” Jesus had promised that his followers would witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). And in our passage today we see an example of how the preaching of the gospel spread from Jerusalem into Judea and Samaria. As the good news of Jesus spread, it crossed ethnic boundaries. And within a few years missionaries like the apostle Paul and others spread the word of God's salvation in Christ throughout the Roman Empire and beyond. Today the fastest growing parts of the church are in places like Africa, Asia, and Central America. Jesus' promise is still unfolding today! Jesus, thank you that your good news is for everyone from every culture and nation. We pray for your worldwide church and for missionaries serving in cross-cultural contexts. Amen.

There is so much conflict in the world today, and it pushes us apart. Jesus had a different vision. After He rose from the dead, He told His followers to go and make disciples of all nations—teaching them about His love, His way, and His peace. This means no one's left out. God's invitation is for everyone, every person in every country, in every generation. So, that includes you. Wherever you are today, whatever you believe right now, this is your invitation. You can begin a journey with the God who sees you and loves you. Start right where you are. Invite Him to take over. To be the Lord of your life, today. You can pray, “Jesus, I want to know You. I want to receive your forgiveness and Your love—this love that includes all people. Please show me now the way to walk with You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20 radio.hopewithgod.com

This special episode Tributes the Life of a Non-Native New Yorker who had a big influence on New York and the Whole World. Charlie Kirk was shot this past Wednesday on September 10 because of his beliefs and what he stood for.Charles James Kirk (October 14, 1993 – September 10, 2025) was an American conservative political activist, author, and media personality. He was executive director of the student organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA), which he co-founded in 2012 to promote conservative beliefs in high schools and on college campuses. He published a range of books and hosted The Charlie Kirk Show, a conservative talk radio program. In his later years, he became recognized as one of the most prominent voices of the populist MAGA movement in the Republican Party.Kirk was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs of Arlington Heights and Prospect Heights. After being rejected from the West Point Military Academy, he briefly attended Harper College but dropped out after one semester to pursue political activism full-time. He worked with various donors to fund TPUSA, rising to prominence via college campus debates held at his signature Prove Me Wrong table. He has since been credited with generating interest in political conservatism amongst the youth.[1][2][3] He extended TPUSA's influence through the Professor Watchlist and School Board Watchlist, founded to spread conservative ideals at liberal-leaning colleges. Under his leadership, TPUSA developed several affiliate groups, including Turning Point Action and Turning Point Faith, with the latter aimed at mobilizing religious communities around conservative issues. Initially critical of the evangelical right, he shifted to Christian nationalism, advocating a Christian form of government and a Christian population.A key ally of Donald Trump, he promoted far-right and Trump-aligned causes and espoused a variety of conservative stances, including opposition to abortion, gun control, and LGBT rights. His more controversial views include his criticism of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Martin Luther King Jr. and his promotion of COVID-19 misinformation and false claims of electoral fraud in 2020.On September 10, 2025, Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a TPUSA public debate event on the Utah Valley University campus. His death gained international attention and led to the condemnation of political violence by prominent domestic and international figures. President Trump announced that Kirk would posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.PICTURE: By Gage Skidmore - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gageskidmore/54670961811/, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=172612805

In this episode, G.K. and Dave take a hard look at the Democrat Party's biggest problem: a lack of moral courage. Whether it's bowing to the theatrics of Sandy Cortes (aka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), ignoring the corruption of dangerous New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, or excusing transgender terrorism, the party is marching down the same road that led the Whigs into political extinction. Dave wraps up with a teaser—an exciting announcement that he and G.K. will reveal at the start of the next episode. “I just can't catch a break,” he sighs, watching floodwaters climb five feet up the walls of his ruined home. “I've got plenty of luck,” she weeps over the crumpled fender of her old Toyota. “It's just all bad.” The weary chorus of this world is a dirge about how little control we truly have. Medical bills crush us. Friendships we cherish grow distant and cold. The machines on which our lives depend break down with unnerving frequency. Those we love get sick and die. Is any of this seen by Someone—anyone—who can do something about it? To doubting, disheartened people just like us, the apostle Paul wrote one of history's most radiant lines: “God's Son was before all else, and by Him everything is held together” (Col. 1:17). With all their seeming randomness and pain, our lives and our futures are held in the embrace of One whose arms stretched wide for us from a broken tree: “God was pleased for Him to make peace by sacrificing His blood on the cross, so that all beings in heaven and on earth could be brought back to God” (v. 20). “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End,” Jesus said of Himself. Nothing escapes His notice. Nothing lies outside His control. Our pain is real—but it is temporary. Hope endures. The grace of God outlasts our brokenness. So stay in grace. -Bill Knott

The Book of Acts tells the story of the birth of the church and its remarkable expansion in the early decades of its existence. Central to that story is the crucial encounter between the Apostle Peter, an observant Jewish man, and Cornelius, a respected Gentile military officer, and his family. Through this encounter, the fledgling church-- and our church, too-- learns that faith in Jesus is not merely for Jewish people but for people of all nations who call on God in faith. Come out this week and bring a friend to hear more about "The Whole Church for the Whole World" and hear from a special guest and ECV friend about how God is working in Taiwan today.- Series Description -Among the most compelling stories in the Bible are several contained in the Book of Acts, written by the humble and gentle physician, Luke. In Acts, Luke tells the story of the birth and expansion of the church in the early decades following the Lord's death, resurrection, and ascension. He tells the story of the coming and work of the Holy Spirit, the ministry of the Apostles Peter and Paul, and of other early saints. He tells the story of early opposition to the faith, of the first martyrs, and of the courage of early Christians in the face of resistance and even death. At the beginning of the book, the Christian community is limited to Jewish believers mostly in and around Jerusalem; by the end of the book, the church is growing and expanding among Jewish and Gentile communities throughout the Mediterranean world and beyond. Come out for this 10 week series and join us in living out in our own day and time what it is to be the church together.
