A lighthearted look into the world of Cryptids (An animal who's existence is disputed), as well as all science fiction, horror, video games, and more!
The Monster Fuzz podcast is a hidden gem in the world of cryptids and monsters. From the moment I started listening, I was hooked. As a fan since their early days on TCG, it's been a joy to see them grow and flourish with their own show. The hosts have fantastic chemistry and their humor adds an extra layer of entertainment to each episode.
One of the best aspects of The Monster Fuzz podcast is the way they approach the topic of cryptids. While they provide informative and interesting stories about various creatures, they also bring in a healthy dose of humor. The poems that Eamonn and Rob create for each episode are not only clever, but they also add an element of fun to the show. It's refreshing to find a podcast that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering fascinating content.
Additionally, the hosts' banter is top-notch. They play off each other's jokes and keep the energy high throughout each episode. It feels like you're sitting down with friends, sharing stories and having a good laugh. Their dynamic is infectious and makes for an incredibly enjoyable listening experience.
However, there are a few downsides to The Monster Fuzz podcast that need to be mentioned. While their humor is one of their greatest strengths, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Some listeners who prefer a more serious tone may find the constant jokes distracting from the actual content of the episodes. Additionally, although they do provide well-researched information about cryptids and monsters, there are times when it feels like they could delve deeper into certain topics. It would be great to see them explore lesser-known creatures or theories in future episodes.
In conclusion, The Monster Fuzz podcast is an absolute delight for fans of cryptids and monsters who enjoy some humor with their content. The hosts' chemistry is undeniable as they deliver entertaining stories with plenty of laughs along the way. While it may not be for everyone, those who appreciate a light-hearted approach to the topic will find themselves thoroughly entertained. I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen and joining in on the fun.

Randy Quaid in 2010 asserted that a clandestine clique within Hollywood—a cabal composed of industry figures such as lawyers, estate planners, accountants, even critics—had systematically targeted and sabotaged certain actors by manufacturing scandals or orchestrating tragic, mysterious deaths. According to Quaid, this group was responsible for the deaths of David Carradine and Heath Ledger—citing Carradine's death in Bangkok, which was ruled accidental, and Ledger's overdose in New York—as examples of the so-called “Star Whackers” at work.Help us buy a camera:https://ko-fi.com/monsterfuzzSupport the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

The dark forest hypothesis is the conjecture that many alien civilizations exist throughout the universe, but they are both silent and hostile, maintaining their undetectability for fear of being destroyed by another hostile and undetected civilization. It is one of many possible explanations of the Fermi paradox, which contrasts the lack of contact with alien life with the potential for such contact. The hypothesis derives its name from Liu Cixin's 2008 novel The Dark Forest, although the concept predates the novel.Help us buy a camera:https://ko-fi.com/monsterfuzzSupport the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

The story begins on August 2, 1993, in the Khamar Daban mountains of southern Siberia. A group of students visiting from Petropavl in Kazakhstan planned to hike from the shores of Lake Baikal and summit Kang-Ula.The seven hikers were Aleksander Kyrsin, 23; Tatyana Filipenko, 24; Denis Shvachkin, 19; Valentina Utochenko, 17; Viktoriya Zalesova, 16; Timur Bapanov, 15; and leader Lyudmila Korovina, 41. They were reportedly a tight-knit bunch of good friends. The group had done difficult hikes before, and all were physically fit. They also had a hiking legend in their midst. Lyudmila Korovina was a well-known survivalist with a strong will and excellent problem-solving skills. She even had the nickname of Master among those she led on expeditions. The event has been likened to the Dyatlov Pass incident, earning it the name "Buryatia's Dyatlov Pass".Help us buy a camera:https://ko-fi.com/monsterfuzzSupport the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

See you in August! Mount Shasta is a stratovolcano, or composite volcano, that reaches the soaring height of 4,322 meters (14,179 feet). Like other volcanos of this type, it has a more classic (almost caricaturized) conical shape, which is formed by four distinct overlapping volcanic cones. This makes it a striking and easily visible landmark which, complete with its snow-capped faces, is the ideal site for mountaineers, hikers, campers, and skiers alike. But it has also long been the travel destination for more spiritually minded visitors who seek a less than conventional holiday. Every year, thousands of people descend on the mountain with the hope of communing with something beyond the terrestrial and geological. There are tourist guides and attractions dedicated to meditation, vision quests, and other New Age activities that try to tap into the mountain's various alleged spiritual hotspots. There are numerous bookshops offering the full range of metaphysical texts on healing, vibrations, crystals, angels, and so on, many of which claim to have connections to the mountain itself. The mountain is associated with various entities, including from Bigfoot to UFOs, and is even purported by some to have an underground civilisation beneath it.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

A tulpa is a materialized being or thought-form, typically in human shape, that is created through spiritual practice and intense concentration. The term is borrowed from Tibetan Buddhism. Modern practitioners, who call themselves "tulpamancers", use the term to refer to a type of willed imaginary friend whom practitioners consider sentient and relatively independent. Modern practitioners predominantly consider tulpas a psychological rather than a paranormal phenomenon. The idea became an important belief in Theosophy. The concept of tulpas has origins in the Buddhist nirmāṇakāya, translated in Tibetan as sprul-pa: The earthly bodies that a buddha manifests in order to teach those who have not attained nirvana. The western understanding of tulpas was developed by 20th-century European mystical explorers, who interpreted the idea independently of buddhahood.Support the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Everything else!www.linktr.ee/monsterfuzzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

A psychic detective is a person who purports to investigate crimes using paranormal psychic abilities. Claimed techniques and abilities have included postcognition (paranormal perception of the past), psychometry (information psychically gained from objects), telepathy, dowsing, clairvoyance, and remote viewing. In murder cases, psychic detectives may purport to be in communication with the spirits of the murder victims. Many police departments around the world have released official statements saying that they do not regard psychics as credible or useful on cases. However that has not stopped several high profile cases being solved by psychics or in the very least being helped onto their conclusion due psychic support.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

The Battle of Gettysburg was a three-day battle in the American Civil War, which was fought between the Union and Confederate armies between July 1 and July 3, 1863, in and around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The battle, won by the Union, is widely considered the Civil War's turning point, leading to an ultimate victory of the Union and the preservation of the nation. The Battle of Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle of both the Civil War and of any battle in American military history, claiming over 50,000 combined casualties. It had the highest total number of casualties in any single Civil War battle. The brutal combat and close-quarters fighting (especially at places like the Wheatfield, Devil's Den, and Pickett's Charge) contributed to enormous losses in a short time. The town and surrounding farms became overwhelmed with the dead and wounded, many of whom were never properly identified or buried, adding to the haunting legacy.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

Lying abandoned in the valley of the Dark Entry Forest in northwestern Connecticut is the very creepy Dudleytown. Or, more accurately, a portion of Cornwall that gained a reputation for being one of the most haunted places in the U.S.Settled as a village in the 1740s, Dudleytown supposedly got its name from the Dudley family. However, research and records show that the land was once considered sacred and occupied by the Mohawk Nation. For many years, ghost hunters have been fascinated by tales of the lost village of Dudleytown - the vanished Connecticut village that is apparently plagued by ghosts, demons and residents who vanished without a trace. These grave events were said to be caused by a curse, brought by the Dudley family to the New World. In philosophy of mind, panpsychism is the view that the mind or a mind-like aspect is a fundamental and ubiquitous feature of reality. It is also described as a theory that "the mind is a fundamental feature of the world which exists throughout the universe". It is one of the oldest philosophical theories, and has been ascribed in some form to philosophers including Thales, Plato, Spinoza, Leibniz, Schopenhauer, William James, Alfred North Whitehead, and Bertrand Russell. In the 19th century, panpsychism was the default philosophy of mind in Western thought, but it saw a decline in the mid-20th century with the rise of logical positivism. Recent interest in the hard problem of consciousness and developments in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, and quantum mechanics have revived interest in panpsychism in the 21st century because it addresses the hard problem directly.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

yeayeayeayeayeayeaBleak mansions and somber castles usually spring to mind when we think of haunted places. But ghostly phenomena—whatever the cause—can manifest in well-lit, modern offices as well as libraries.Haunted libraries fall into two types. First, there is the “building with a reputation,” where a convenient murder, curse, or other tragedy has occurred. Library staff can then blame the odd noise, the occasional book falling off the shelf, or glitches in the air conditioning on the resident “scapeghost.” No one reports anything too spooky, and the children's librarians have a good time with it at story hour.Second, there are libraries where credible, responsible people observe enigmatic human shapes, hear disembodied voices, and witness other classic parapsychological events. Glib explanations about how the building must be settling ring about as hollow as those mysterious footsteps late at night on the upper floorboards. The library staff learns to live with its wraith, usually by accepting the paranormal as a normal working condition.Support the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Everything else!www.linktr.ee/monsterfuzzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

Reincarnation, also known as rebirth or transmigration, is the belief that after physical death, the non-physical essence of a being (soul, consciousness, etc.) continues its existence in a new body, either human, animal, or spiritual. This cycle of rebirth can be seen in various religious and philosophical traditions, particularly in Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and some indigenous and local religions. European witch trials, occurring primarily between the 15th and 18th centuries, involved the accusation, trial, and punishment of individuals suspected of witchcraft, often leading to executions. While the specific numbers vary by historian, it's estimated that between 40,000 and 60,000 people were executed for witchcraft in Europe during this period. The majority of those accused were women, with the most frequent targets being single, widowed, or otherwise marginalized women. In February 2021 a strange image appeared in Google Earth. What looked like a multi legged, sizeable organism was seen walking along the polar caps of antarctica.Antarctica is, on average, the coldest, driest, and windiest of the continents, and it has the highest average elevation. It is mainly a polar desert, with annual precipitation of over 8 in along the coast and far less inland. About 70% of the world's freshwater reserves are frozen in Antarctica, which, if melted, would raise global sea levels by almost 60 metres. Antarctica holds the record for the lowest measured temperature on Earth, −89.2 °C (−128.6 °F). The coastal regions can reach temperatures over 10 °C (50 °F) in the summer. Native species of animals include mites, nematodes, penguins, seals and tardigrades. Where vegetation occurs, it is mostly in the form of lichen or moss. But could it be possible that this hostile environment could harbour giant invertebrates? Well…Support the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Everything else!www.linktr.ee/monsterfuzzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

Hollow Earth is a theory proposing that the planet Earth is entirely hollow or contains a substantial interior space. The crux of the hollow earth theory is that the earth is a shell with walls about 800 miles thick. In the polar regions there are holes 1400 miles across, with edges that curve smoothly from the outside of the shell around to the inside. A sea or surface traveler could proceed over an edge of the hole, like an ant crawling over the lip of a coffee mug from the outside to the inside, and not be aware that he was actually entering the interior of the earth. Dr. Raymond Bernard or Walter Siegmeister (we'll talk about him later) explains that the holes have never been seen from the air because pilots are fooled by their compasses into believing that they are crossing the pole, when they are actually following the hole's "magnetic rim". Thus aircraft never really fly over the geographic poles, which naturally mark the centers of the holes themselves. As irrefutable proof of his claim, he cites Admiral Byrd's statement, "I'd like to see that land beyond the Pole. That area beyond the Pole is the Great Unknown."Some conspiracy theorists believe the Earth is hollow—and that superior 'alien' humans, Vikings and Nazis live inside. The Northwestern Territories of Canada are truly one of Earth's last true wild places. One of its special National Park Reserves, called the Nahanni Valley, is however a little bit wilder than most. It is home to some strange myths and mysteries and boasts a fearsome reputation for being a haunted and deadly place. This remote wild valley is not just inhospitable due to its rugged terrain, extreme weather, and predators, but is also deadly due to some unexplained circumstances. Over the decades, many unfortunate travelers and explorers have gone missing, or they turned up dead and beheaded. The number of decapitated bodies found within Nahanni Valley have earned it the nickname “Valley of Headless Men”.Support the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Everything else!www.linktr.ee/monsterfuzzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

An apparent interview with a reptilian alien entered the public domain in the early 2000s via the release of several mysterious documents named The Larcerta Files by a Swedish researcher by the name of “Ole K”. As well as several pieces of information was a transcript of an apparent interview with a reptilian entity named, as the files suggest, Lacerta. In more recent times, the account has been documented extensively by paranormal researcher, Lon Strickler. It is certainly one of the most intriguing accounts on record. The Lacerta interview is reminiscent of Sir Peter Horsley, a high-ranking member of the British military, who would make remarkable claims in the book Sounds From The Other Room of speaking at length with an alien entity – named Mr. Janus – an interview that took place in a non-descript house in London in very similar circumstances to the Lacerta interview. Although this entity didn't claim to be reptilian, they did offer many of the same details, most predominantly, of an “alien” presence on our planet.Support the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Everything else!www.linktr.ee/monsterfuzzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

The Mad Gasser of Mattoon, also known as the Phantom Anesthetist or Anesthetic Prowler, was the supposed perpetrator of a series of alleged gas attacks targeting the residents of Mattoon, Illinois. The incidents began on August 31, 1944, and lasted two weeks. In total, about 35 individuals believed they were victims, as they suffered symptoms in their own homes. The Rake is a monster in the online horror fiction genre, creepypasta. It is depicted as a humanoid, about six feet tall when standing, but usually crouches and walks on all fours. It has very pale skin. The face is blank. As in, no nose, no mouth. However, it has three solid green eyes, one in the middle of its forehead, and the other two on either side of its head, towards the back. Usually seen in front yards in suburban areas. Usually just watches the observer, but will stand up and attack if approached. When it attacks, a mouth opens up, as if a hinged skull that opens at the chin. Reveals many tiny, but dull teeth.Support the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.com Everything else!www.linktr.ee/monsterfuzzBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.
