Happy Father’s Day to the 67.8 million fathers in America! Jesus taught us to pray to God as "Our Father." People often see God the way we see our father. But, what kind of father is God? Is he consistent or moody, present or distant, loving or vengeful? Celebrate Fathers Day with us as Lash begins a new series called Prayer 101 with part 1, "Our Father." Matthew 6:9-13.
The greatest movement in history of the world is the church. 2000 years ago in a middle-eastern city the resurrection of Jesus Christ captured the hearts and souls of a gathering of people and exploded in a worldwide phenomenon. Today it has left its mark on individuals and cultures on every continent. Each Sunday people gather around the world to worship and celebrate, and every day the movement continues to grow as Christ's disciples live for him in their homes, neighborhoods, and cities. Join us as Lash continues his series Bigfoot Church with part 3, "The Movement" from Acts 1:23-38.
Church is more than a building, friendships or events; it's a movement built around God and His love for us through Jesus. As a movement, the church grows as its footprint expands into the hearts, communities and homes around us; its a concept we like to call "Bigfoot Church." Join us as Lash discusses a Vision of Bigfoot from Matthew 28:18-20.

All your life God has been guiding you in ways that sometimes you didn’t even understand. His love is not something that you just talk about, but you experience it on a daily basis. “And they all lived happily ever after. . .” It’s a great ending for romantic comedies and fairy tales. But in the real world we all face conflict. People sin, act selfishly, hurt one another, and at times are just completely clueless. Join us as Lash continues our series "Being" from Matthew 5:3-12 with a message entitled Gasoline or Water.
Jesus taught us that true Christianity begins with God transforming our hearts. It then flows into our lives, our families, our communities, and world. In our culture, we often measure success in terms of accomplishments, grades, wins, degrees, salary, stuff, and appearance. Yet, many find themselves having done great things, but still lacking the deep sense of blessing that comes with being God's child. Join us as we continue our Being series with a message entitled "The Qualities of Being" from Matthew 5:5-7.
Jesus said "Those who mourn are blessed for they will be comforted." We all have pain in life: the pain of sin, the pain of disappointment, the pain of loss. Pain is part of "being." The good news is that Jesus promised us real comfort. Join us as Lash continues our series "Being" with a sermon entitled "Getting Comfortable." Matthew 5:3-12.
It's easy to get so busy doing that you forget about "being." Being Is what makes humans unique. Yet along the course of life, we often get really good at doing and forget how to be. At the heart of Jesus' message was a call to being. Join us as we begin a new series from the beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-12) called "Being."
Joseph of Arimathea was not a best selling author, theologian, or big church pastor. He was a secret disciple, far from what he should have been. But in the darkest moment, when all others were running to the shadows, Joseph stepped into the light. He became a vital player in the most vital work of God: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Join us Sunday at 7:11, 8:30, 9:45 or 11:00am as we celebrate Easter Sunday with a message entitled "Out of the Shadows" from Matthew 27:57-60.

Join us Sunday at 8:30, 9:45, or 11:00 as we continue our series Unleashed with a message entitled "What Kind of King?" (Mark 15:1-15).
From the outside looking in it is pure evil. The religious leaders, so "Bound in Selfishness" that they could not see God standing right in front of them. Consumed with control, fear and anger, they sentenced Jesus to die. The irony is that what we think is power really is not. Because no matter how much money and control we get, we still die and lose it all. God says I want you to experience a while new kind of power: the power of grace, forgiveness, and a life lived in faith. This is the power that unwraps the chords of selfishness, lives eternally, gives meaning to our days and forgives the past. Join us Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as we continue our Easter series "Unleashed" with a message entitled "Bound by Selfishness." (Mark 14:53-64).
What are you afraid of? Being a Texas, you may say, "I a'int fraid a nuttin'" yet the truth is we all face fear. But you don't have to be broken by fear. In fact the very things that you fear can strengthen you. In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus faced his fears and found the strength to face the cross through the power of prayer. Join us this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as we begin our Easter series "Unleashed" with a sermon entitled "Facing your Fears" from Matthew 26:36-46.

Join us this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00 as we continue our series Above All with a sermon entitled "This is Church."

Have you ever reached that point where "something's gotta change" in your spiritual life, and you didn't really know how to change it? Often we look within ourselves and try to "white-knuckle" our way to spiritual growth. The Scriptures, however, teach that the source of real change comes when we look above. Join us this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as Lash continues our series Above All with a sermon from Colossians 3:1-11: Something's Gotta Change.
The Scriptures teach that we are saved by God's grace not but our works. Christianity is much more than simply following the rules. Yet, our natural temptation is to abandon our faith in God's grace for the more easily measured and controlled faith of rules. Join us this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as Lash discusses what it means to live "Beyond the Rules" from Colossians 2:8-23.

2012 closes and 2013 opens with the world in terror and turmoil. Debate rages among politicians and experts on how to get the world out of this mess. How can we find the wisdom we need to navigate the New Year? In a biblical paradox, we are told to seek the foolishness of the cross instead of worldy wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 challenges us to become "fools" in Christ.
The stars in the heavens. Looked down where He lay, The little Lord Jesus. Asleep on the hay. The Way in the Manger is the greatest gift of all. Join us Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00 as we unpack the greatest gift of all.
Everyone seemed to be "Gone for Christmas" the night Jesus was born: Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds, the Wisemen, even Jesus left home in the pursuit of God's will. Where are you going this Christmas and what are you taking with you? Are you seeking something for yourself or are you seeking the true meaning of it all? Thank you for joining us today as Lash discusses How to Have a Wise Man Christmas from Matthew 2:1-12 and James 1:5.
Christmas is a time when we show our love to those we care about the most. But for many, it's also a difficult time that reminds us of past hurts and unfulfilled expectations. Where is God in Christmas? Does He care about what I'm going through? Join us this Sunday as we look at the parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15:1-7) and the shepherds of the nativity (Luke 2:8-20) as we answer the question Does God Care?
Big things were happening in Mary's life: she was engaged to a good, godly man named Joseph; love was in the air; wedding plans were being formed; two lives were becoming one. The future was exciting and bright. Then, suddenly, God brought a major change in plans. As Mary and Joseph followed God in faith, they discovered that even when our best laid plans fall apart, peace and joy are found in the middle of God's plan. Join us this Sunday as Lash begins our Christmas series Gone for Christmas with part 1 "A Change in Plans."
A lot of us have faced disappointment, tragedy, and loss that we can't really understand. Often we find ourselves angry and apathetic towards God and others as a result. It's amazing, though, how little time there is to be angry or apathetic when we realize what God has done for us and how He desires you to be a part of his enormous plan of reconciliation. Join us this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as we continue our series Above All with a sermon entitled Reconciled (Colossians 1:15-23).
Thanksgiving is here: soon the air will be filled with the smells of turkey and dressing, living rooms will be full of football watchers, and kool-aid spill will be pouring over the "kid's table." But in all the activity of Thanksgiving, will there truly be any thanks given? Often, we celebrate the blessings of God without ever worshiping the God who blessed. Join us this Sunday as we study Luke 17:11-19 in a Thanksgiving sermon entitled Turning Point.

It's an election week, and if you read the news there are a lot of opinions. Some polls say Romney is up big, some say Obama is up big, but the facts are only one will win. As Americans head to the polls, we do so in hopes of a better future for our families and our communities. As Christians we are called to be salt; it is good to stand for truth and lift up your voice for righteousness. Yet, we must also remember that no matter the outcome, Jesus is and always will be above all. Join us this Sunday as we look at Colossians 1:15-20 in a message entitled The Facts about Jesus.

What do you do when someone does wrong? It's a universalquestion that we all face impacting every area of life. Galatians 6:1tells us that "if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you show arespiritual should restore such a person with a gentle spirit. . ." What, exactly, does this mean and how do I live it out in my life?
I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carryout the desire of the flesh. For the flesh desires whatis against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what isagainst the flesh; these are opposed to each other(Galatians 5:16-17) . . .
"For freedom, Christ has set us free. . ." From thetime we are born, human beings have a basic need offreedom. We spend years working and grasping atfreedom only to feel trapped by the responsibilitiesof life. Christ calls us to a new kind of freedom. Afreedom that goes beyond ourselves connecting todaywith eternity and the mundane to the meaningful.
One path leads to captivity; the other leads to freedom. One path vanishes with time; the other endures forever. One path worries; the other path believes. One path mocks faith and relies on self; the other path humbly trusts and relies on God. Join us this Sunday as we continue our series on Galatians with an “A Tale of Two Paths” from Galatians 4:21-31.
With Lash Banks out of town this week our student minister Jared Witt fills the pulpit. Join us as he preaches God's word from Ephesians 1:3-14.
There comes a time in each of our lives when we mustgrow up and take on the responsibilities of life. The sameis true in our spiritual lives. Our salvation is not just a onetime event; it is an eternal process of growing in Christ. This week we continue our study of Galatians with chapter4:1-7 in a message entitled "Growing Up in Christ."
Jesus Christ has done what the laws of religion could never do: He has "redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. . ."This week we study Galatians 3:6-26 in a message entitled "The Curse isLifted."
At the foundation of Christianity is salvation by grace through faith. Christianity in any other form is a fraud. Yet people are always trying to take grace and faith out of Christianity. In Galatians 3:1-9, Paul essentially tells the young Christians of Galatia to "Snap Out of It," because they had been lured into believing in something that looked like the gospel, but was not the real deal. Join us this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as we continue our walk through Galatians: Finding Freedom in Christ.
We've all found ourselves side-tracked before. It happens in our conversations, our marriages, our careers, and it often happens in our walk with God. In Galatians 2:11-21, we see a moment when a great man of God like Peter got side-tracked from his faith in Christ. Discover how to get back on track this Sunday at 8:30 or 11:00am as we continue our series from Galatians: Finding Freedom in Christ.
What is the greatest compliment a father can receive? Join us Father's Day at 8:30 or 11:00am and find out, as Lash preaches from Galatians 2:1-10 in a sermon entitledA Few Godly Men.
Christ has rescued us from the world by giving Himself for our sins according to the will of God. Those who repent of sin and believe in Christ, receive the grace and peace of God and live for His glory forever and ever. This is the heart of the true gospel that Paul describes in Galatians 1:3-5: "Grace to you and peace from God the father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. To whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen"
Join us this week at 8:30 or 11:00 as we begin a Summer journey through the book of Galatians. Galatians was written by the Apostle Paul around 50 AD to a group of young churches in the political territory called Galatia. God had saved many in Galatia, and they had found freedom from their sins and a new life in Christ. But then a legalistic group called the Judaizers attempted to convince these young believers that to truly be a Christian, faith in Jesus was not enough. This week we will study Galatians 1:1-5 as we discover how believers have been "Rescued" in Christ.
