His focus is on client collaboration and sustainable design. Joe has worked on around 10 projects a year for over a decade, from design to construction. Helping to turn his clients' houses into fabulous homes. During that time, he's also moved from Tottenham to the seaside town of Worthing in West Sussex. And oversaw building work on three projects on his own home. Asides from spending time with his architect wife, two sons and their mad cocker spaniel. But the longer you wait, the more chances you might miss. Taking action helps you learn as you go. You don't need to have it all figured out — just get started, and deal with things as they come. Why Building Relationships MattersAt first, networking can feel awkward. But once you start meeting people, it gets easier — and it can really help your business. Talking to others, sharing stories, and asking for advice can lead to new ideas, referrals, and work. You don't have to do it all alone — people want to help.Trusting Your Gut with ClientsSometimes you just know when a client doesn't feel right. If you ignore that feeling, it can lead to stress, wasted time, and low energy. Be picky. Set clear rules from the start. When you work with good people, your projects go better and you feel happier too.Links Mentioned In The Episode...Visit Joe's practice websiteConnect with Joe on LinkedIn—--Want to explore podcasting for your business?

In Episode 53 of The Steak Lad Experience, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Louis Phillips. Louis is a veteran social media influencer who is best known for his beginner running content, which ultimately inspired the creation of the successful app he co-founded called INTVL. I am often shocked meeting people who have a large social media following and getting to witness who they are behind closed doors. With this in mind, Louis was by far one of the most genuine and down to earth people I have had the chance to speak to, with our conversation showcasing a side of him rarely portrayed on social media. Expect to take out of our discussion the positives/negatives of an intense fear of failure, why you should never tie your self-worth to your social media following, the power that comes from harnessing your unique strengths, the healthy balance between “locking in” whilst still enjoying the finer things in life, the toxic side of social media, the strength that comes from both consistency/discipline and much more. This was a deeply insightful discussion, please let me know if you enjoyed it as much as I did! Just by listening to this episode, you might be facing a fear. When we read the word "fear" we often want to turn away- run, hide, avoid, not look at it. So for the brave souls here today that see this episode and say- yea let's talk about this. I applaud you for your courage and trust in the wisdom of this space to be a guide for you even through some of the scarier topics like fear. The divination for the first quarter of 2025 was all about facing your fears as a creator. A creator is someone who is here to take all the tendrils of destruction and turn them into new creative offerings of potential. The collective is being spoon fed all kinds of fear programs. It is targeting sensitive populations, people that we feel we need to protect- and not giving us any solutions or hows to do that. This leaves a lot of people frozen, fawning, or running away completely. It leaves many others matching the energy that they are resisting, becoming the pain that they are trying to avoid. Replicating the programs that they think are against. But there are solutions to this- like processing our own pain, fears, and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable. A simple way to do this? Get with your breath, feel your breath in your body, connect to your life source. Another way? Get good with Gd. Not the GD in a book, but the one that moves through you each and every time you inhale and you exhale. Develop relations with the divine nations. Tune into the energetics. Look past the obvious, see all sides, find compassion for the monster. We're getting into all that today in this episode of the playground. You can find all offerings below plus a couple of breathwork resources that I really dig. I also have an upcoming offering to breathe together called Inner Child Alchemy so that will be linked in the "current offerings" section as long as there is space available! What if your biggest fear is the one thing standing between you and the life you were meant to live? Fear is a liar. It whispers that you're not good enough, that you should wait, that failure is too risky. But what if I told you that fear is actually the roadmap to your next breakthrough? In this episode, I sit down with some of the most incredible minds—Tony Robbins, Rich Diviney, Jen Gottlieb, Colin O'Brady, Robin Sharma, John Assaraf, and James Lawrence—to break down how fear is shaping your decisions, holding you back, and how you can use it as fuel to push forward. Tony Robbins reveals how the media and external noise create unnecessary fear, and how the difference between fear and faith is simply the story we tell ourselves. Rich Diviney talks about resilience—not just bouncing back but coming back stronger—and shares the mindset shift that separates top performers from everyone else. Jen Gottlieb teaches how to put fear in the passenger seat and take control of your life, proving that when you face fear head-on, its power over you disappears. Colin O'Brady takes us through his incredible transformation from being told he'd never walk again to breaking world records by choosing courage over comfort. You'll also hear Robin Sharma explain why fear is the gateway to greatness, how we must “hug the monster” and realize that most of what we're afraid of is an illusion. John Assaraf lays out a step-by-step process to retrain your brain and turn fear into a tool for success. And James Lawrence, the Iron Cowboy, proves that the mind is more powerful than the body, walking us through his moments of absolute physical breakdown—and how he pushed through anyway. In this episode, you will learn: - How fear creates invisible barriers that are limiting your success - The difference between fear and intuition (and how to tell them apart) - Techniques to retrain your brain and use fear as fuel instead of a roadblock - Why resilience is more than just “bouncing back”—it's about becoming stronger - The power of pushing past your limits and discovering what you're truly capable of The truth is, you're not afraid of failure—you're afraid of what happens if you actually succeed. But let me remind you of something: you were born to do something great with your life. Don't let fear rob you of that. The world doesn't need a smaller version of you—it needs the real you, stepping up, playing full out, and living at the highest level. It's time to face your fears and conquer them once and for all. After a winter slumber, The Psychedelic Playground is ready to come out and play again. Three people reached out in the last two days asking about the podcast- an undeniable sign that the energy in the playground is stirring awaken once again. In this episode, I dive into the 2025 energetic reading: Keeping Your Commitments, Even in an Apocalypse. What does that mean in a world that feels like it's shifting under our feet? And what wisdom does our animal guide, the Snake, have for us as we shed old skins and step into this year's transformation? We explore the themes of Quarter 1—Facing Your Fears—and how this has shown up in my business, creative work, and life. Then, we break it down month by month: • January – The Vessel of Creation: What it means to hold and shape energy, vision, and potential. • February – Divining with Desire: How to let desire be an oracle, a creative force, and a guide. • March – Mirror Reality: Reflections, projections, and learning from what life is showing us.Desire takes center stage in this conversation, including a riff on the Apple brand and how symbols-whether in business, personal identity, or spiritual work-are more than just images; they are transmissions, containers of energy, and invitations into a reality.I also share what's been moving through me lately, the invitations that are alive in my offerings, and what it means to truly commit to a path, even when the world is unraveling.I'd love to see you in the newsletter or an upcoming offering:Connect on Instagram: @WellnessWeaverOfferings & Links: HERENewsletter: Sign Up

Adele Kamel Whitley is a Mindset & Transformational Coach who's helping people “live an unapologetically authentic life”. This is Adele's second time on the show and, like last time, this is half podcast episode, half coaching session for me! Adele is great and certainly has a very direct approach when it comes to calling you out on your nonsense and unpicking your self-talk. I appreciate that approach and her clients appreciate it too - interestingly she told me after we finished recording that 80% of her clients are men. I hope you get as much out of this conversation as I did. If you're struggling with making a change in your life, lacking direction, doubting yourself, limiting beliefs then this one is definitely for you. In this episode I talk to Adele about: - Why, when I had so many options for career, living situation, projects, in front of me I froze and didn't take action - The key steps you should take if you want to make changes in your life - What it means to be a people-pleaser and how you can let go of those tendencies - What her hairdresser taught her about facing up to the truth - & much more Connect with Adele: https://www.linkedin.com/in/adele-kamel-whitley-30b54736/ https://www.instagram.com/adelekamel/ Listeners also loved these episodes: #130 | Solo Episode | Life goals, clarity, cringe & more - https://theinsightpodcast.com/s130 #125 | The Truth About Exercise & Mental Health | Dr Brendon Stubbs - https://theinsightpodcast.com/s125 #111 | Dating in 2024, how to find real connection, honest self-reflection & more | Eimear Draper - https://theinsightpodcast.com/s111 Connect with me: https://theinsightpodcast.com https://www.instagram.com/samuelcwhart https://www.facebook.com/samuelcwhart https://bsky.app/profile/theinsightpodcast.com

In this episode, I open up about navigating fear, fatherhood, and maintaining a deep connection with my son despite the challenges of an international blended family. After my first wife was granted full custody and relocated overseas with our child, I had to redefine my role as a father - challenging the traditional archetype of being a provider and protector when my child was an ocean away. I share my personal journey of overcoming fear - fear of the unknown, financial instability, losing my connection with my son, and the stigma of failure. Through trial, error, professional guidance, and leaning into love over fear, I've learned what truly matters in co-parenting and long-distance fatherhood. This episode is for any parent - especially fathers - facing separation, uncertainty, or the struggle of maintaining a strong bond with their children. You are not alone. Join the conversation! The game is changing again, the levels are ascending, we are reaching new heights inside of this human experience. SO many people have made big pivots in their life leading up to 2025. So many business have shifted their focus because so many of us are receiving new directives. The doorway to the future is focused and narrowing which means so many things that used to be a part of our story aren't coming with us. That's personally, and in our offerings and guidance for the world. This means our daily rituals are getting upgrades, certain relationships are dissolving while others are fortifying. Our consumption practices are definitely getting updates. Our biggest work right now is bringing all of this new energy- the expanded consciousness, the new intelligences (both natural and artificial), into the body, onto the ground floor. This is the time where all that was fantastical and imaginal now becomes very real, and very clear as to why we played with these ideas in the astral first before bringing them into real time. Those who have been spending a lot of time in the labyrinths and laboratories of spiritual study are going to be called up to the plate. New trainings and curriculum will be handed down by those who are equipped with the tools and skills needed to navigate these spiritual waters. It is time to tend to the prophecies and legacies of our souls like never before. Which means getting your work into the hands of the people who need it, sharing your wisdom with the communities who are seeding it, and unlocking the portals that give all of consciousness access to the higher channels of life. It is time to face your fears as a creator and see how they are the most potent mirrors to show you where you are still holding onto tendencies that keep you small and resisting the full expression of your uniqueness. By doing this work you will open the door to deeper alchemy in your offerings, and remind yourself (and your clients) that the work of expansion is tied to embracing your individuality and your unique way of weaving. I'm introducing you to one of my newest offerings for 2025 Facing Your Fears as a Creator - a three month group exploration for spiritual entrepreneurs, creatives, and change makesr to work through fears around visibility, self expression, and sharing your gifts in the world. We will be alchemizing fear in real time, transforming our blocks into greater creative potential, and stepping into our individual roles on earth. I'm thrilled to share this incredible conversation with Bruno Perales, a fellow Human Design enthusiast who's on a remarkable journey of self-discovery and transformation. In this episode, we dive deep into: Bruno's personal journey from family expectations to self-realization The power of Human Design and Gene Keys in understanding ourselves The importance of physical practices in complementing spiritual growth How facing our fears can lead to profound personal transformation The evolving nature of Human Design and the shift to Cosmic Human Design Key takeaways: Human Design is a tool for self-discovery, not a box to limit ourselves It's crucial to balance mental understanding with physical practices for true transformation Facing our fears head-on can lead to rapid personal growth Our charts (both Tropical and Cosmic) can offer different insights at different stages of our lives True healing involves addressing the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of ourselves It's okay to evolve in our understanding and practice of Human Design The most powerful question we can ask ourselves is: "What am I afraid of right now?" I love how Bruno emphasizes the importance of taking action and facing our fears, rather than getting stuck in endless analysis. His journey from living with his parents to becoming a father himself in such a short time is truly inspiring! Remember, Human Design and other tools are here to help us trust ourselves more, not to become another set of rules to follow blindly. Let's use these insights to empower ourselves and face our fears head-on. I can't wait to hear how this episode inspires you to embrace your authentic self and take courageous steps in your own journey! More info about what the incredible humans over at Human Garage are doing: https://humangarage.net/ About Bruno: Bruno was born in Barcelona, Spain, the youngest of eight children. Raised to fit into his family's expectations, he studied Industrial Engineering and Economics, learning several languages in preparation for a diplomatic career. His path was largely influenced by his father, born in 1940, who has battled numerous health issues. In 2021, during a practical internship in Munich, Germany, for his Master's degree, he experienced a pivotal moment. The distance from his family allowed him, for the first time, to introspect and realize he had strayed far from his true essence. This realization led to eating disorders and severe depression. Seeking self-discovery, he turned to various tools such as Enneagram, morphopsychology, numerology, Human Design, and Gene Keys. These helped him realign with his core self, prompting him to pursue his own path despite lack of family support. He ventured into modeling, public speaking, and social media. Recently, he found his twin flame, and they plan to move to Costa Rica in October, expecting their first child in January 2025. He sees himself as an example that aligning with one's true self can lead to a magical unfolding of life, even when it seems paradoxical to his Human Design profile. https://taplink.cc/brunoperales https://youtube.com/@brunoperales How to get in touch with Analena: E-mail: bloom@analenafuchs.com Analena's Website: https://www.analenafuchs.com Analena's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/analena.fuchs/
