Defense Minister Israel Katz on Monday lifted the "Special Situation on the Home Front" in southern Israel, after two years since the start of the military operation targeting Hamas. Nevertheless, on today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that while things seem to be returning to "normal," the war isn't over as long as the enemies of the Jewish People continue to seek our destruction.

This message shares about the Heavenly Trend of the Cross of Jesus Christ, that He may be LIFTED, so that we can LOOK unto Him, with the intent of LOVING Him as our Savior.

Ex-Interns Jack and Luke rehash Washington's win over the Scarlet Knights before turning their attention to this upcoming weekend. Topics of discussion include Washington's recent slow starts and the challenge of playing a 9 AM Pacific Time game. On the brighter side, they discuss the likelihood of Demond Williams continuing his impressive sophomore campaign against a Wolverine pass defense that has allowed teams like Nebraska, USC, and Oklahoma to move the ball through the air. Luke also looks to continue his dominant Betting B1G season, where he currently boasts a 12-6 picking record and a six-game lead over Jack. The duo also picks a couple of players on each side of the ball that they anticipate performing well against Sherrone Moore's Wolverines on Saturday. On this week's episode, I highlight the second word in the title of my podcast: UPLIFT. Even in the midst of hatred, violence and negativity, we can focus our attention on what lifts us up and how we might lift up others. I reference Hafiz' poem about Joy, particularly the line that says “we were created to smile, to love, to be lifted up and lift others up”. May we honor what we were created for - let yourself be lifted up and enjoy lifting up those around you. Let the kindness, thoughtfulness, and gratitude naturally flow with ease. Happy lifting! Enjoy the podcast!

We're not not going to let Wayne talk about his alma mater because, well, it IS the biggest upset of the college football season. Cookie had a front-row seat on the sidelines of the Rose Bowl this past Saturday when UCLA did the thing, so Hartzell wanted to ask about how it all went down. How did Nico turn from the pumpkin into the prince? And how did Jerry Neuheisel draw all that wizardry up with just four days prep before Penn State came to town? Wayne has all the answers. You know who else has answers is our man Phil Steele who drop by for a solid 30+ minutes of week 7 game discussion. So many good ones on the card this week, you already know the guys are asking Phil about every game in the top-25. And finally, has Wayne hit send on the golf balls he owes Hartzell? You don't want the juice running on a dozen golf balls, best get that shipped out with the quickness.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

In Case No. CR01-24-31665, a coalition of major news organizations—including ABC News, CNN, CBS News, the Associated Press, Fox News, and others—have filed a memorandum seeking to be heard as interested parties in the criminal proceedings against Bryan C. Kohberger, the defendant charged in connection with the Idaho student murders. The media companies are requesting that the court vacate the existing nondissemination (gag) order, arguing that it violates constitutional protections under the First Amendment and impedes the public's right to access court proceedings and related information. They assert that the order is overly broad, lacks sufficient justification, and unjustifiably restricts press freedom and transparency in a case of significant public interest. The media coalition contends that the gag order infringes upon their ability to report on the case and gather news, including statements from attorneys, law enforcement, and other official sources. They argue that the public has a compelling interest in understanding the judicial process, particularly in a high-profile case involving allegations of multiple homicides. The memorandum emphasizes that any restrictions on speech must be narrowly tailored and based on specific findings, which the current order allegedly lacks. As such, the organizations urge the court to lift the nondissemination order entirely or, at a minimum, modify it to comply with constitutional standards.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Microsoft Word - Media Coalition_Kohberger Sealed Records - Ada County - Memo ISO Motion to Vacate Gag Order_July 3(129532455.3)Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

The Cross: God's Love Lifted High The Homily reflects on the central place of the cross in Christian life, . . . . . . often present yet overlooked or misunderstood. From the liturgy to the crucifixes in our homes, the cross continually marks our faith. On the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, we are reminded not only of its burden but of its glory and victory. Drawing from Scripture, the Homily recalls Moses lifting the bronze serpent to bring healing and connects this to Christ lifted on the cross . . . not to erase suffering but to transform it. Greatest Sign of God's Love Through the cross, Jesus takes upon himself our pain, weakness, and failure, making them the very means of salvation. The cross thus becomes not only a symbol of suffering but the greatest sign of God's love, drawing our hearts, guiding our path, and opening the gates of heaven. The Church calls us not just to carry the cross as a weight, but to lift it high in faith, joy, and triumph, for by it we are redeemed. Listen to the Meditation Media. This week, author Daryl Potter returns to share a powerful story of transformation. For years, he carried a “steel rod” in his heart that looked like strength but felt like anger to those around him. It wasn't until he experienced love and acceptance from his family that he began to soften—and discovered the challenge of living without that armor. Daryl also opens up about his daughter's rare genetic disorder and how it led him to seek real answers from God in the midst of suffering. His journey is raw, tender, and full of grace. Caring for her and walking through that season as a family forced Daryl to seek real answers from God—answers that shaped his faith and his life in lasting ways. This week on the podcast, I'm joined by author Daryl Potter, whose writing—both fiction and non-fiction—flows deeply from his own life story. In his latest book, Something More: Living Well in a Broken World, Daryl shares how God met him in a profound way, bringing unexpected healing to places he didn't even realize were broken. Although Daryl grew up in the church, the neglect and emotional abuse he experienced at home left him carrying a heavy burden of shame. It wasn't until the unconditional love of an aunt broke through those walls that Daryl began to experience freedom and the tender healing of God's timing. This conversation is a powerful reminder that none of us are beyond the reach of God's love, and that healing often comes through the kindness and care of others. Listen now to hear Daryl's story of brokenness, grace, and hope. And if you're looking for a safe place to explore your own journey of healing, I'd love to invite you to join one of my Lifted from Shame small groups. You can register on my website. Baker YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/live/CiCMWBvk-AM In a July 17th hearing, Judge Hippler lifted the non-dissemination (gag) order in the Bryan Kohberger case, emphasizing the public's right to information, especially since a plea has been entered. However, he clarified that the court's prior preservation order remains in place, and sealed documents are still sealed. The media's petition to unseal all documents was denied as premature. The judge stated that after sentencing, scheduled for July 23rd, the court will begin reviewing sealed materials to determine what can be unsealed, starting with the newest documents first. This process will allow counsel to object to unsealing specific documents or request redactions. He warned that this unsealing process will take a considerable amount of time, and public records requests for sealed documents will be denied until they are officially unsealed. The judge also addressed the right to appeal, noting that while Kohberger's plea agreement includes a waiver of appeal rights, the US Supreme Court's ruling in Garza v. Idaho indicates that a defendant's right to file the appeal. Therefore, the appellate process is expected to play out. The investigation into document leaks is ongoing.
