This sweeping English drama, based on the book by Ian McEwan, follows the lives of young lovers Cecilia Tallis and Robbie Turner. When the couple is torn apart by a lie constructed by Cecilia's jealous younger sister, Briony, all three of them must deal with the consequences. Robbie is the hardest hit, since Briony's deception results in his imprisonment, but hope for Cecilia and her beau increases when their paths cross during World War II.

Based on the popular board game, this comedy begins at a dinner party hosted by Mr. Boddy where he admits to blackmailing his visitors. These guests, who have been given aliases, are Mrs. Peacock, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, and Col. Mustard. When Boddy turns up murdered, all are suspects, and together they try to figure out who is the killer.

Accompanied by her husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family is horrified to learn that each attacker takes the appearance of one of them.

In the late 1960s and 1970s, fear grips the city of San Francisco as a serial killer called Zodiac stalks its residents. Investigators and reporters become obsessed with learning the killer's identity and bringing him to justice. Meanwhile, Zodiac claims victim after victim and taunts the authorities with cryptic messages, cyphers and menacing phone calls.

Fantastic Mr. Fox is a stop motion animation film where a fox tries to work his way up in the world by stealing from the evil farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. It is an adaption of the children’s book written by Roald Dahl

He starts the program and meets "Samantha”, whose bright voice reveals a sensitive, playful personality. Though "friends" initially, the relationship soon deepens into love.

The theatre is closed because of the plague? Relatable.  The wonderful tale about a fictional relationship between William Shakespeare and a young woman who poses as a man in order to star in one of the writer's plays.

The disappearance of a patient on Shutter Island brings U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels and his new partner to Ashecliffe Hospital, a fortress-like insane asylum located on a remote island. The woman appears to have vanished from a locked room, and there are hints of terrible things going on within the hospital. As the investigation deepens, Teddy realizes he will have to confront his own dark fears if he hopes to make it off the island alive.

Brokeback Mountain is a movie about two men named Jack and Ennis who meet in 1963 on a job working as sheep babysitters. They fall in love and we watch as they continue to struggle with internalized homophobia, separate marriages, and how to love each other over a span of 20 years.

Moonlight is an unfiltered look at three different chapters in the life of Chiron, a young black man growing up in Miami. We see how his journey into manhood is guided and shaped by the community and various people that he interacts with.

Miles Morales is bitten by a radioactive spider, causing him to become a Spider-Person. However, when he witnesses Peter Parker die, suddenly more and more Spider-People enter from their own dimensions into Miles'. Being the newbie, he is forced to learn the ways of spidering quickly as he is tasked with saving his own dimension from Kingpin.

Spotlight is a film that follows the Boston Globe's “Spotlight” team as they investigate a widespread string of child sexual assault cases against priests in the Boston area. This film is based on a series of stories by the Spotlight team that earned The Globe the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.

In Carthage, Mo., former writer Nick Dunne and his wife Amy present a portrait of a perfect marriage to the public. However, when Amy goes missing on the couple's fifth wedding anniversary, Nick becomes the prime suspect in her disappearance. The resulting police pressure and media frenzy cause the Dunnes' image of a happy union to crumble, leading to endless questions about who Nick and Amy truly are.

Riggan Thomas is a former movie star superhero who is attempting to direct and star in a play to reinvigorate his career and relevancy. As opening night is on his footstep a cast member gets injured and a replacement is quickly called in. Tensions build between the cast members as we get a deeper look into Riggans personal life, and his past.

Greta Gerwig’s Little Women is a movie based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel that follows four restless sisters as they grow up and evolve. They express frustrations with being women, fall deeply in love, learn the value of kindness, and try to live their life the way that makes them most happy. It is the seventh adaptation, made in 2019.

This Christmas classic is centered around our 9 year old main character Ralphie as he does his best to make the most out of the holidays in the midst of all the craziness happening around him. From his strict but loving parents to his naive little brother Randy, we see Ralphie do his best to navigate the holidays, and hopefully end up with the best present of all, the“official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time.”

The Godfather is an Italian mob movie set in the 40s that touches on issues such as Italian immigrants and how they adjusted to life in America, what life is like in organized crime,  and how far you will go for family, even when you’ve already gone to the ends of the Earth and back. The original novel was written by a man named Mario Puzo.

Set in the heart of LA, Sebastian and Mia are both trying to pursue their own dreams while falling in love with one another. However, when they start to see success it begins to strain their relationship and tear them apart. Both characters have to make difficult decisions in an attempt to try to do what's best for them and their partner. This film is simultaneously a reinvention of the genre, and a love letter to the movies that inspired it.

In 19th China, a warrior gives his sword, Green Destiny, to his lover to deliver to safe keeping, but it is stolen, and the chase is on to find it. The search leads to the House of Yu where each characters motives begin to be revealed. 

Set in Marshalltown Nova Scotia, this biographical drama follows the life and rise to fame of a folk painter named Maudie. Despite her severe health condition, and being treated like a child, Maudie takes her life into her own hands when she answers a fisherman's ad and begins to work as a housemaid. Although their personalities collide, Maudie and Everett begin to grow closer to one another as Maudie begins to get recognized for her artistic abilities.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is an adaptation of the book written by Ken Kesey. It follows Randle McMurphy, or Mac, as he is involuntarily committed to a mental institution full of men with all sorts of illness and frustrations. While messing with the staff, he fights the system by trying to have fun, and build up the confidence of his new friends. However, Nurse Ratched stands in his way as she attempts to traumatize the patients into submission. 

Set in Sacramento California in 2002, Lady Bird is a coming of age film that follows Christine (or Lady Bird) as she finishes up her senior year and prepares to move out for college. We see her strained relationship with her mother, the difficulties of friendship, and the cycle of love interests as Lady Bird tries to become the woman she wants to be. This touchingly relatable and unexpectedly funny film evokes a wide array of emotions as we see Lady Bird face the hardships of young adulthood. 

Quentin Tarantino takes us back to 1969 in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, where we follow fictional characters Rick and Cliff as they experience the downfall of classic Hollywood. It also changes the narrative of the well-known Manson family’s delusional and inexplicable murder of Sharon Tate and her house guests

Astronaut Sam Bell's three-year shift at a lunar mine is finally coming to an end, and he's looking forward to his reunion with his wife and young daughter. When all of all of a sudden, after a nearly fatal crash, Sam's health begins to deteriorate and he meets what seems to be a clone of himself. With time running out Sam tries to uncover what is really happening. 

Nightcrawler is a movie about a man named Lou Bloom living in LA who is struggling to find his place in society and finds it in the high-stakes world of moonlit crime journalism. As he learns more and more about filming crime, he becomes the criminal himself and manipulates those around him while pursuing corroded and corrupt journalism.
