It's a light news week so we dive into collective effervescence at movie theaters after a few hot topics This week we have a really great conversation about control (or lack thereof) in the lives of Jessica Jones & her inner circle. Everyone is spiraling. We also dive into the second episode of Secret Invasion, so far we love it and the conversations about race and assimilation it brings up!

Heyyy fellow Wakandans! We took a break from our hiatus to record this special episode! Here are our initial thoughts and general review of the sequel to the 2018 cultural reset that was Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. We discuss some MCU news including the casting of WonderMan and rumors about the future of Spider-Man and The Punisher being in phase 5. While reviewing the Wakanda forever, the story behind its filming process and some of the backlash the film has received, we share our unfiltered thoughts and insights we gained while watching it. Hey friends! Sorry about our brief break last week but we are back with almost 2 hours worth of shennanigans This week we recap our favorite announcements from D23 and talk about the Rings of Power and House of the Dragon. Which are you watching? I'll take a wild guess and say probably not both... For our rewatch, this week we are starting The Defenders. I has taken some time to establish these characters and now we get the pay off! Matt, Luke, Jessica and Danny make an interesting dynamic for sure. Following that we discuss the last two episodes of the big green baddie herself.
Y'all we made it! We finally finished the first season of Shit Fist AKA Iron Fist. Danny Rand n 'nem cover a lot of ground over the course of these episodes. We pick up with Danny and the rest of the mystery gang trying to get information out of Gao at Colleen's dojo with little results. Harold has also risen from the dead again with a few less functioning brain cells. Over the course of these 5 episodes We finally get a mini back story for Colleen and where she got her training. Spoiler, it wasn't a magical monastery, or was it? Ward, the only character with a functioning character arc and acting skills faces the consequences of hiding his father all of this time and then killing him. And Danny rand… well he is the iron fist and he wont let you forget it. We also discuss the latest episode of She Hulk and all of the horrible takes of sensitive, malcontent misogynists of the internet. #girlpower #uterusesoverduderuses

Our Marvel Netflix show rewatch has finally (and some might say, unfortunately) made it's way to the first season of Iron Fist. This week we discuss the first 4 episodes of the season and establish the character. Danny Rand is alive after all of this time and he wants you to know it! We also discuss the first episode of She Hulk, now streaming on Disney+. The first episode clears up a lot of questions fans had about Bruce and Jennifers origin, but also ruffled the feathers of misogynists everywhere! Good Times! This is our first look at Wakanda, a magical blend of Afro Futurism and homage to the motherland. In this movie we see T'Challa dealing with the events of Captain America: Civil War, as well as the sins of his father. In this episode we discuss the politics of Wakanda and if Killmonger really was the bad guy. We also discuss the latest Marvel news and What If... Episode 7!
As if Odin's family needed anymore dysfunction, this week we discuss Thor Ragnorak. Thor and Loki meet their psycho sister. If Thor thought Loki was a problem, he obvi hadn't met Hela. This film gave us Taika Waititi, who single handedly saved Thor from his tragic history of subpar solo films. Finally we have made it to our Spider-Man episode! This was a great refresher in preparation for December's third installment to the trilogy This week we discuss some big MCU news. Wanda Vision has won a few Emmy's and Disney has some new release dates on the horizon. Things are heating up for MCU fans! There is so much look forward to!
We came for the music and we stayed for the jokes! This week we are discussing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. This 2017 hit was a massive box office success, although not as highly loved as the first. The characters go a long way to cement their relationships as a found family, we're just happy to be along for the ride.
