Hello and welcome to Bill vs the MCU! Bill & Alex spent all of 2022 rewatching the first four phases of the MCU, and they just spent 2023 covering the first phase of Netflix's The Defenders Saga and the first four seasons of ABC's Agents of SHIELD. This year, they journeyed into Fox's X-Verse with their X-Treme X-Watch. Now they are back with their Defenders Disassembled miniseries, where they take a tour through all the final seasons of every Marvel Netflix series as they get ready for the triumphant return of Matt, Karen, Foggy, and Frank in Daredevil: Born Again this spring.  First, a new MCU show is here! Agatha All Along is out and blowing up Disney Plus. Alex & Bill will give you their customary season rewatch treatment of the show in a few months, along with a look back at Echo, but, with this being the tenth Marvel Studio's TV series of the Disney Plus era, the guys thought it might be fun to take a quick tour through the last three and a half years by ranking every Disney Plus MCU series so far.  After that, stick around for an in depth discussion of the surprisingly improved second and final season of Iron Fist, wherein even Danny Rand slowly comes to realize he kind of sucks and Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing is the true star and we meet yet another Marvel TV Ward.  Watch along with us! Refocusing on the invasion, nobody can touch a Symbiote dragon except Jess and Iron Fist due to their energy abilities. Carol called on them for backup to focus on the creatures in their area, as Carol is needed to go around and fight the overwhelming force of symbiote monsters. Jess takes some of Linda's injections of Marchand serum for a boost despite other objections, and overwhelms the dragon as her venom blast is poisonous to the creature. Jess loses herself in a berserker rage attacking the dragon's corpse until Carol has to pull her away, escalating into a brawl. With Jess blaming Carol for losing her lead to Wyndham, ignoring Carol actual help and offering resources, Danny steps in to fight Jess until Carol takes the opportunity to stun her.   Called back into action, Carol leaves Jess in Linda's Clinic basement kept in a Hulk Tank until the serum wears off. After Carol shatters the last vial of serum, Jess rages out of her shackles, but being unable to break the glass instead derides Carol's want of and inability to have children; hurting her friend deeply. Remembering Jess' words that it wasn't safe to be around her loved ones, Carol sees now that she was right, so she and the others take their leave with the intent to release Jess after her serum high quells and Knull is defeated. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Danny Rand, and Matt Murdock are each targeted individually, but quickly join forces when they realize the attacks are connected. We were charmed by the cameos (OMG BLADE) and the effortless way these four seem to work together, depend on each other, and care about each other. We highly recommend this one, whether or not you were a fan of the show!
