Knoxville filmmaker, Seth Young, talks about his experience in the Middle TN 54 Film Fest. 

The Knoxville Film Festival closes its doors after 19 years of serving the viewing public. I speak with the Knoxville Film Festival's founder and director Keith McDaniel on his decision to end the festival and the wisdom he's gained over his years running a successful film festival. I also give Keith the opportunity to crown the greatest 7 day shootout film of all time. 

I catch up with a couple friends at the Knoxville Horror Fest at the Parkway Drive-in Movie theater in Maryville, TN to discuss the 2022 Grindhouse Grindout trailers and the film festival in general.  Featuring Daniel Fersner, Ronnie George and Tiffie Stalsworth.

Jeff Snell calls in via burner phone while on the run to discuss the beefs between him and Kevin Wines, and also Tyler Broadway vs Bing Fu.  According to Jeff, Keith McDaniel's video addressing the drama within the community is layered with hidden messages which we break down in this episode.

I'm joined by fellow East TN filmmaker, Nicholas Crockett, to discuss the TN10 "Best of the Best" Filmmaking challenge that we both participated in earlier this summer. The screening for the TN10 is this weekend at the Knox Film Fest. Nick's movie is called "THE HERETIC IN LOWLAND" and mine is called "WE SAW A BRIGHT SPOT ON THE MOON." So the 7 day shootout went down last week. We were successful in turning in a short film on time. (praise the heavens) In this episode I discuss a few details about that short film. Then I reminisce about all the 7 day shootouts that i've participated in since 2009. This was a late night episode, so it's extra dreamy for my dreamy friends.
