Let‘s Clear the Air! All Things Allergy, Asthma & Immunology!

Host Liz Edwards introduces us to Dr. Pragya Shrestha, a deeply caring and naturally curious board-certified allergist at our Middle Tennessee clinics. Originally from Nepal, Dr. Shrestha has extensive experience in allergy, asthma and immunology. She has worked and trained at Reading Hospital in Pennsylvania, Mayo Clinic, and Vanderbilt. Curious about the workings of the human body at a young age, she was able to solidify her interest in the medical field by volunteering at a hospital during high school. After seeing the depth and scope of the field of allergy, asthma and immunology, Dr. Shrestha was ready to combine her love of deep investigative work to uncovering the root cause of allergic and asthmatic symptoms. Dr. Shrestha's devotion to making a significant difference in her patients' lives is obvious. From enabling them to overcome seasonal allergy symptoms, to improving an eczema or urticaria patient's confidence, to seeing a child's excitement at his first successful bite of Nutella during a food challenge, Dr. Shrestha thrives on seeing her patients thrive! Learn more about Dr. Pragya Shrestha's passions and curiosities in this episode of "Let's Clear the Air!"

Yet somehow he used every detail of his past to write songs that magnify the way you experience music. His story has set him up to be one of the most prolific songwriters, gifted guitar players, and passionate singers of our generation. After too many years of living in almost every other city in the U.S and being told relentlessly to move to “Music City” I took only the guitar on my back and began my life in Nashville. Music is the only thing that has always made sense to me in every season of life. Now having collected even more stories over the years, I am devoted to creating songs that will make you truly fall in love with the feeling that only music can give you.

Hey, Clemson Family -- Another busy week for the Tigers across several programs. Wide receiver Gordon Sellars headlines the latest news, committing to Clemson football for the 2026 signing class. More recently, Clemson baseball knocked off Georgia as starting pitcher Talan Bell led the way and saves record holder Lucas Mahlstedt slammed the door on the Dawgs, this on the heels of another ACC series win during the weekend. Men's basketball coach Brad Brownell added what might be the final piece of his large transfer-class puzzle by bringing in Jestin Porter from Middle Tennessee. And speaking of Tennessee, Tigers softball continued its winning ways by knocking off the No. 1 Volunteers in Knoxville in their midweek matchup. We've got details and analysis on all of it, be sure to add your thoughts (and smash that like button for us too). Football Is Family is part of the Sports History Network - The Headquarters For Your Favorite Sports' Yesteryear.EPISODE SUMMARYIn this episode, we look back to the 2010 draft, and go through last year's draft, and look at the number 1 overall draft pick. Why did many of those teams pick quarterbacks number one overall? Did they work out? Interesting questions. Check out what I have found.ABOUT FOOTBALL IS FAMILYDo you bleed your favorite football team's colors each weekend? Does the difference of a W or L in the box score dictate how you respond for the rest of the week? Or do most of your conversations with your family and friends revolve around your favorite football team?If you answered yes to any (or maybe all) of these questions, then you are in the right place. The host of this podcast truly believes that “Football Is Family” and he is on a mission to share the stories of other fans out there sharing how they have been touched by the greatest sport on Earth. Listen below to the trailer and learn more about the host and show.HOST - JEREMY MCFARLINGrowing up in Middle Tennessee, I didn't have a pro football team that was close enough to me to feel a part of. My first memory of pro football was Super Bowl 22. I picked the Broncos to win, and, even though they didn't win, I followed them from that point on.John Elway was (and is) my favorite player. I have played as the Broncos on Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo Bowl Super Bowl, Madden, and 2K Sports. I fondly remember the moments when the Broncos won Super Bowls 32 and 33.Around this time, the Oilers came to Tennessee. I was hooked. I finally had a team just down the road from my hometown of Bon Aqua. Oiler (and later Titans) mania hit this area. Jerseys, hats, footballs, merchandise, and several autographs later, I'm a Titans fan through and through. It's the dedication, the love, and the passion for football that helps me realize that football is family. Each fan base has a story, a history, and a love for their team. That's what I want to talk about each and every podcast. You can follow me @jeremy_mcfarlin. Message me if you want to share your reasons why your football team is family.
