Apple Pie Playground with Valerie Title: What is your divine child's ikigai? What gets you up in the morning? If it's your alarm clock, let's talk. What Is Your Divine Child's Ikigai? Sacred Geometry, Blue Zones, and Finding Your Reason for Being Valerie leads a solo hour on Apple Pie Playground exploring the Japanese concept of ikigai, tracing its sacred geometry and Okinawan Blue Zone roots before guiding listeners through a live four-column exercise to measure their own passion, purpose, mastery, and profession. Welcome To The Divine Playground Valerie opens Apple Pie Playground by welcoming listeners back to what she calls the place where divine children play under the Tree of Life. She explains the Kabbalah's structure of a mother principle, a father principle, and a child, describing the child as representing the emotional or astral body, the part of consciousness that carries emotion, imagination, and passion. She notes that the phrase get your head out of the clouds actually references that same astral nature of daydreaming and imagining. Valerie invites listeners to spend the hour indulging their inner child, dabbling in imaginings of a better world, and thanks BBS Radio for bringing everyone together on the playground. She frames understanding the divine inner child as more than nostalgia for childhood memories, setting up a discussion of how ancient spiritual traditions treated that inner spark as something sacred and worth deliberately awakening within the body. Gnostic Roots Of The Sacred Child Valerie turns to Gnostic practice, explaining that devotees worked to incarnate what they called the sacred child, or divine spark, into the physical body, a process meant to pull Christ consciousness into the vessel and awaken what she calls the inner sun within. She says some call this receiving the Holy Spirit and others call it reconnecting with source consciousness, framing them as the same experience described differently. Valerie argues humanity has lost its essential connection to source through what she calls dark design, and that reconnecting is intentional, mission-critical work accomplished through daily devotions, rituals, and meditations. She recommends a YouTube and Spotify teacher named Morg, spelled M-O-R-G, praising his integration of Kabbalah, Gnosticism, biblical and Christian studies, and encouraging listeners to simply pick a video of his and get started. A Date In History Before turning to her planned topic, Valerie flags something from the news she feels went largely unnoticed: President Trump's speech at the United Nations this week, delivered on September 22nd. She recalls that the same date in history marked President Lincoln's preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, a stern warning that in 100 days the government would consider enslaved people in hostile Confederate states to be free. Valerie draws a parallel between Lincoln acting as commander-in-chief during wartime and Trump addressing the United Nations while presiding over a military she describes as in active combat, under what she says some call martial law. She wonders aloud whether the UN speech quietly drew a line in the sand for a liberated humanity, and whether a hundred days might bring freedoms not yet imaginable. She acknowledges she may be reaching, but urges listeners to consider world events through a more mystical or metaphorical lens. Introducing Ikigai And Sacred Geometry Valerie pivots to the day's chosen topic, ikigai, a Japanese concept she describes as more intricate and debated than she expected, essentially a debate about happiness. She explains that ikigai, or one's reason for being, is typically illustrated with a Venn diagram combining four questions: what is your passion, your purpose, your mastery or skill, and your profession or service. Answering these, she says, builds an internal sense of life's worth and self-realization. Valerie highlights that the Venn diagram takes the shape of a vesica piscis, which in sacred geometry is the foundation of the Flower of Life, a pattern she says animates the cosmos. She suggests that practicing ikigai connects a person to the same creation energies embedded in that geometry, linking a simple word for contentment to a much larger cosmic design, and promises to unpack what ikigai actually means and where it comes from next. Lessons From Okinawa's Blue Zone Valerie traces ikigai's roots to Okinawa, a so-called Blue Zone she says is home to a remarkable concentration of centenarians, and credits much of that longevity to daily ikigai practices. She describes hara hachi bu, eating until only about eighty percent full, along with constant gentle movement such as walking, bending, sitting on the ground for meals, and living by the rhythm of sunrise and sunset rather than the clock. She notes that traditional Okinawan culture has no real concept of retirement and that people tend medicinal gardens for home remedies. Valerie then explores Shintoism's concept of kami, the belief that all things carry divine spirit, which extends a person's reason for being toward serving community harmony, or wa, rather than the self alone. She describes moai, small childhood friend groups that stay close for life, as a fading but treasured practice, and closes with the Zen Buddhist view that everyday life itself is the greatest teacher. A Four-Column Ikigai Exercise With time running short, Valerie leads a simplified, live version of the ikigai Venn diagram, asking listeners to grab paper and draw three lines to make four columns labeled Passion, Purpose, Mastery, and Profession, filling each from the bottom up. For every column she poses three candid questions, such as how clear one's greatest passion is, how much of the week goes to others' demands, how easily a loved one could state one's life purpose, and how ready one feels to retire regardless of age, asking listeners to score each answer as a percentage. She explains that columns with stronger percentages at the bottom than the top suggest a life built on solid footing, while the reverse suggests a structure unlikely to stand. Valerie frames the exercise as a starting point for further reflection during the week ahead, then thanks BBS Radio and her listeners before the pre-recorded announcer closes the show and invites everyone back the following Sunday.

The Metaphysical Hour with Julia Cannon and Tracie Mahan and Question Master Tiffanny Vortexes, Sacred Geometry, and the Heart's Guidance Through Shifting Timelines Lighting the Grid and Moving Through Mercury Retrograde In this episode of The Metaphysical Hour, Julia Cannon, Tracie Mahan, and Tiffany welcome listeners from around the world and invite them to “shine their light” into the larger energetic grid. Tracie gives an update on her move, explaining how Mercury retrograde has brought delays, disruptions, and redirections, but also completion and progress. Julia and Tracie respond that they understand it as both: a frequency or craft-related activation that meets the Earth's response.
