Dr. Zin is the arch nemesis of Dr. Benton Quest on the animated cartoon Jonny Quest that first aired on September 18th 1964. Jonny Quest actually aired in prime time and was a huge success both because of it's incredible art and storytelling but it only lasted one season. Like a lot of Sci-Fi shows of that time it made most of its money and gained even more popularity in syndication. The program was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for Screen Gems, and was created and designed by comic book artist Doug Wildey.

Spock is the half-Vulcan, half-human science officer aboard the USS Enterprise who was played Leonard Nimoy throughout the Star Trek franchise that includes the original series, of all 8 movies that include the original cast and even the animated TV series. This week on The Heroes, Villains and Sidekicks Show we'll be exploring the origin of our first sidekick, Wally West, Kid Flash. Now some of you may say hey, Wally's not a sidekick, he's the Flash. True...but he started as a sidekick to his mentor Barry Allen, so I'm sticking to it.
Michael Myers first appeared in John Carpenter's classic horror movie Halloween in 1978. When we first meet Michael we are actually seeing through the child's eyes. We're not sure who this character is but it's definitely creepy. He wanders through the house and picks up a clown mask and puts it on. We then see to those familiar plastic mask eye holes that we had back in the day.
John Constantine is my favorite character in the DC Universe and in Comics in genera, and this week we'll be looking into his origins. John Constantine was created by writer Alan Moore and artists Steve Bissette and John Totleben and first appeared in The Saga of the Swamp Thing issue 37 back in 1985. The story goes that Bissette and Totleben were huge fans of The Police and really wanted to draw a character that resembled Sting. So Alan Moore obliged them and created the character of John Constantine, the quintessential anti-hero, mage, con-man change smoker that will always do what's right...as long as it suits his purpose.
