Dr. David Wurmser, Senior Analyst for Middle East Affairs at the Center for Security Policy I discussed with Dr. David Wurmser a UN resolution that the United States seems poised to allow to be adopted by the UN Security Council in the near future as we speak. It could impose very, very punishing sanctions on Israel. If it fails to adopt an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire with Hamas, it would ensure that terrorist organizations survive and renew war at its convenience to the great judgment of Israel and our interests as well. The United States government should veto this resolution, not Enable its enactment.
