For episode 31 of 'The Read It Right Show', it was my pleasure to interview LA-based dark-pop duo 'Rainne'. Rainne's line-up comprises of singer-songwriter Annie Dingwall & saxophonist/Engineer Justin Klunk. Rainne won the coveted opening spot for the Hollywood Bowl 2019, winning against 14,000 other artists! They opened for biggies for Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, The Jonas Brothers and more. The global pandemic proved to be a tiny bump for their music career post the exhilarating Hollywood Bowl, as touring opportunities came to an abrupt halt. They have since improvised, finding other ways to reach audiences, make music remotely before they can start touring once again. Rainne's recent single 'Spiders' received both critical acclaim and fame. In this interview, the duo talks about their music career, performing in the Hollywood Bowl, and future plans! In episode 28, we explore alternate living a bit more with Sailing Vloggers Follow The Boat. Jamie Furlong and Liz Cleere sold off all their possessions around 2002, invested in a London flat and a boat called Esper, and set sail. They have been sailing across the world ever since, stopping wherever they deem right for however long they want. The two modern-day explorers are creatives as well--Jamie, a photographer, and Liz, a writer. In addition, they are veteran, OG content creators on the web. They have been making videos, photographs, articles, and podcasts since 2002. Today, Follow The Boat is a respected brand in the sailing world. Amartya Bobo Rahut is a working man's musician. He's worked his way up the ladder. By producing music for advertisements, by working for radio, by playing for several bands.
