Outcalls worked in collaboration with David Rosenthal, Billy Joel's music director, at Peabody Conservatory to create their latest single. The song was inspired by the love triangle involving Lisa Nowak, former astronaut, who in 2007 drove from Houston to Orlando to confront her former lover's ex-girlfriend. The “electronic pop queens” of Baltimore continue their genre-defying music with Blast!. Featuring indelible guitar riffs, smoky saxophone, and flawless vocal harmonies. They have composed music for multiple film projects, notably the major motion picture Crisis (2021) starring Evangeline Lilly, Gary Oldman, and Lily-Rose Depp. Elliott Rauh - manager

We welcome The Lane Brothers, one of the most exciting and refreshing new acts to come out of Nashville. The duo brings an energy that revives old-school R&B and fuses it with retro pop sensibilities that shine through the undeniable blood harmonies of brothers Grayson and Garrett Lane. If you're a fan of artists like Brian McKnight or Boys II Men, I think you'll love these guys, and it shines through in the latest episode of Jrodconcerts The Podcast. Their latest single “Lemon Limo,” is a playfully upbeat and sonically nostalgic track that finds the brothers delighting in life's simple pleasures and embracing a balling-on-a-budget mentality. WHAM! - Wake me up before you binge! (Netflix) "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart"... Meg and Andrew met in 2019 at an open jam session. At the time, both had put pursuing music on hold while they juggled family responsibilities and time-consuming careers. Meg, an entertainment exec then in her mid-30s, was a self-described “car singer,” but came from a musical family. As a kid, she wrote poetry and passionately wrote down the lyrics to the songs she loved. Andrew has been writing and playing music since high school, but after college got sidetracked by an evolving career as an author, sustainable business strategist, and impact investor. As he neared his 50th birthday, he resolved to pursue music again. Andrew and Meg's first project, Ultrasound, a funk cover band, began to perform actively around New York City. A highlight was a benefit concert at Brooklyn Bowl, which found them performing Aerosmith and Run-DMC's “Walk This Way,” with Meg laying into the Steven Tyler part alongside legendary Run-DMC member Darryl McDaniels. That experience sparked Meg and Andrew's desire to write songs together. This was Meg's first time writing and recording original music, and she was exploding with ideas, sending Andrew voice memos and lyric fragments. The two worked collaboratively and nurtured a rapport that reminds one of Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks, the Swell Season, or the xx.This is the dawn of Twilight Muse. Contemplating their journey, Andrew says: “This partnership has been such an unexpected gift. I hope others are inspired by the idea that a creative pursuit and collaboration can come later in life.” Meg adds: “This calling came and I'm 100% in. It's never too late to unleash the imagination.”https://twilightmuse.nyc/Thanks for listening for more information or to listen to other podcasts or watch YouTube videos click on this link >https://thetroutshow.com/
Heavyweight competitors Elden Ring and God Of War Ragnarok go toe to toe while lightweight kitty simulator Stray knocks your controller off the table. Adapting video games into movies has always been a thing since Angelina Jolie motorboated her rack into Tomb Raider. GOTY 2022 now has the Best Adaption category—BUT which nominee will take it—Arcane: League of Legends, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, The Cuphead Show, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 or Uncharted? WAIT WHAT? There's no Best Horror game category? Clearly the GOTY committee has dropped their controllers on this one. Video Game competition is the Meta Olympics? Greg and John get the show running on the quantum universe road that connects galaxy to galaxy, so what's the deal with the band's name Solo Solo? Maybe Hans Solo had some kids we didn't hear about? Sibling bands are either a hit or a miss. Bands like Oasis, ACDC, Kings of Leon or Radio Head all include kindred band members and family drama, so how does Solo Solo struggle to keep it together? Ticketmaster recently apologized for its ticket debacle with Taylor Swift but responds by saying “it's in the artists best interest.” So if fans can't get tickets how does that affect up-and-coming bands like Solo Solo? It takes just one friend to make a solo audience? Who are your idols? Inspired by Nick Drake, known for his one to two minute tracks, we did a song a week for like 20 weeks. The band's “No Sleep”—“is sort of a short song you want to listen to again.” “At the end of the day the only thing that matters is what comes out of the speakers.” The brothers needed a little help settling on the EP's name. Chris and Marissa immediately were on board to help. We came up with its Solo by Solo Solo. We'll find out what the EP's official title is later. I met these newlyweds at a Johnnyswim show a couple weeks ago and immediately connected with their energy! Possibly because they, too, are musicians AND they're a 7 and a 2 on the ennegram (my type is a tie of those two!). Their talent with music, songwriting, and artistry is excellent and their hearts are even more grand than their giftings. Listen to The Graes on Spotify or Apple Music as and follow them on Instagram @wearethegraes! They also just started their own podcast called All Things Grae! I loved this conversation because of my love for music and writing, but also because they give encouragement and helpful advice to musicians, singers, writers, or any aspiring artists on the challenges and highlights of making music a career! And they're fantastic conversationalists and just fun and down to earth friends (that have guaranteed me VIP passes to their shows if I make them a cool sign!) --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
