Ram Mohan first trained as a technician , but fate had different plans that led him into the film world. In the 1960s he quickly became a charming leading man, winning audiences with his style, grace, and natural screen presence. His performances in films like Thene Manasulu and Kanne Manasulu made him a memorable star of that era. Because of his striking personality and sophisticated manner, fans fondly called him the “Andhra Dev Anand.” Whatever may be the reasons, his hero era was short lived and in later phase he was confined to small roles. He quit film field 10 years before his death at the age of 50.
